以利沙幫助窮寡婦
4 有一個先知的妻子哀求以利沙說：「你僕人——我丈夫怎樣敬畏耶和華，你是知道的。如今他去世了，債主來取我的兩個孩子做奴隸。」 2 以利沙問她：「我該怎樣幫你呢？告訴我，你家裡有什麼？」婦人答道：「婢女家什麼也沒有，只有一瓶油。」 3 以利沙說：「你去向所有的鄰居借空器皿，要儘量多借一些。 4 然後回家關上門，你和你兒子在屋裡把那瓶油倒在所有借來的器皿中，裝滿的放在一邊。」 5 於是，婦人辭別以利沙，回去後把自己和兒子關在屋裡，兒子遞給她器皿，她就倒油。 6 器皿都裝滿了，她對兒子說：「再拿個器皿給我。」兒子說：「已經沒有了。」這時，油止住了。 7 婦人將經過告訴上帝的僕人，上帝的僕人對她說：「你去把油賣了還債，你們母子可以用剩下的錢度日。」
以利沙和書念婦人
8 一天，以利沙路過書念，那裡一位富有的婦人挽留他吃飯。此後以利沙每次路過那裡，總到她家裡吃飯。 9 那婦人對丈夫說：「我看常路過我們這裡的這位是上帝聖潔的僕人。他常路過我們這裡， 10 不如我們在房頂上給他蓋一間小屋，裡面放床、桌子、椅子和燈。這樣，他來我們家時，可以在那裡休息。」

18 孩子漸漸長大。一天，他到收割的人那裡找他父親。 19 突然，他對他父親喊道：「我的頭啊！我的頭啊！」他父親見狀，立刻吩咐僕人抱他到他母親那裡。 20 僕人把他抱起來，送到他母親那裡。孩子坐在母親的膝上，到中午就死了。 21 他母親上樓把他放在上帝僕人的床上，關上門出來。 22 她叫來丈夫，對他說：「請你預備一個僕人和一頭驢，我好趕快去見上帝的僕人，然後返回來。」 23 她丈夫說：「今天不是朔日[a]，也不是安息日，你為什麼要去見他？」婦人說：「平安無事。」 24 她騎上驢，對僕人說：「快走吧！我不吩咐你，就不要慢下來。」
25 她就去迦密山見上帝的僕人。上帝的僕人遠遠望見她，就對僕人基哈西說：「你看，書念的婦人來了！ 26 你跑去迎接她，問問她和她的丈夫與孩子都好嗎。」
婦人對以利沙的僕人說：「一切都好。」
27 可是，她上山見到上帝的僕人後，就抱住他的腳。基哈西想要推開她，但上帝的僕人說：「由她吧！因為她心裡非常痛苦。耶和華沒有告訴我發生了什麼事。」 28 婦人說：「我何嘗向我主求過兒子呢？我不是對你說不要騙我嗎？」 29 以利沙吩咐基哈西：「你要束上腰帶，拿著我的杖去她家。路上不論遇見誰，都不要問候他。有人問候你，也不要作答。去把我的杖放在孩子臉上。」 30 孩子的母親說：「我憑永活的耶和華和你的性命起誓，你若不同去，我決不離開你。」於是，以利沙跟她同去。 31 基哈西先趕到，把杖放在孩子臉上，可是孩子一點動靜也沒有。他就回去找以利沙，路上碰見他，便說：「孩子還沒醒過來。」
32 以利沙進了屋子，看見孩子死了，躺在床上， 33 就關上門，向耶和華祈禱。 34 禱告後，他上床伏在孩子身上，口對口，眼對眼，手對手，孩子的身體漸漸變暖了。 35 然後，以利沙起來在房內來回走了一趟，又上床伏在孩子身上。孩子打了七個噴嚏，便睜開了眼睛。 36 以利沙叫基哈西請那婦人來。婦人來了，以利沙對她說：「把你兒子抱走吧。」 37 婦人進來，在以利沙腳前下拜，然後抱起兒子出去了。
用麵粉解毒

42 從巴力·沙利沙來了一個人，他帶了二十個用初熟大麥做的餅和一些麥穗送給上帝的僕人。上帝的僕人說：「分給眾人吃吧。」 43 僕人說：「這些怎麼夠一百人吃呢？」以利沙說：「你只管分給眾人吃。因為耶和華說，『眾人都能吃飽，並且還會剩下。』」 44 於是，僕人將食物擺在眾人面前，他們都吃飽了，果然還有剩餘，正如耶和華所言。

The Widow’s Oil Multiplied
4 One of the wives of the sons of the prophets(A) cried out to Elisha, “Your servant, my husband, has died. You know that your servant feared the Lord.(B) Now the creditor is coming to take my two children as his slaves.”(C)
2 Elisha asked her, “What can I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?”
She said, “Your servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.”(D)
3 Then he said, “Go and borrow empty containers from everyone—from all your neighbors. Do not get just a few.(E) 4 Then go in and shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour oil into all these containers. Set the full ones to one side.” 5 So she left.
After she had shut the door behind her and her sons, they kept bringing her containers, and she kept pouring.(F) 6 When they were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another container.”
But he replied, “There aren’t any more.” Then the oil stopped.
7 She went and told the man of God,(G) and he said, “Go sell the oil and pay your debt; you and your sons can live on the rest.”(H)
The Shunammite Woman’s Hospitality
8 One day Elisha went to Shunem.(I) A prominent woman who lived there persuaded him to eat some food. So whenever he passed by, he stopped there to eat.(J) 9 Then she said to her husband, “I know that the one who often passes by here is a holy man of God, 10 so let’s make a small room upstairs and put a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp there for him. Whenever he comes, he can stay there.”(K)
The Shunammite Woman’s Son
11 One day he came there and stopped and went to the room upstairs to lie down. 12 He ordered his attendant Gehazi,(L) “Call this Shunammite woman.” So he called her and she stood before him.
13 Then he said to Gehazi, “Say to her, ‘Look, you’ve gone to all this trouble for us. What can we do for you?(M) Can we speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’”
She answered, “I am living among my own people.”
14 So he asked, “Then what should be done for her?”
Gehazi answered, “Well, she has no son, and her husband is old.”
15 “Call her,” Elisha said. So Gehazi called her, and she stood in the doorway. 16 Elisha said, “At this time next year you will have a son in your arms.”(N)
Then she said, “No, my lord. Man of God, do not deceive your servant.”(O)
17 The woman conceived and gave birth to a son at the same time the following year, as Elisha had promised her.
The Shunammite’s Son Raised
18 The child grew and one day went out to his father and the harvesters.(P) 19 Suddenly he complained to his father, “My head! My head!”
His father told his servant, “Carry him to his mother.” 20 So he picked him up and took him to his mother. The child sat on her lap until noon and then died. 21 Then she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, shut him in, and left.
22 She summoned her husband and said, “Please send me one of the servants and one of the donkeys, so I can hurry to the man of God and then come back.”
23 But he said, “Why go to him today? It’s not a New Moon or a Sabbath.”(Q)
She replied, “Everything is all right.”(R)
24 Then she saddled the donkey and said to her servant, “Hurry, don’t slow the pace for me unless I tell you.” 25 So she set out and went to the man of God at Mount Carmel.(S)
When the man of God saw her at a distance, he said to his attendant Gehazi,(T) “Look, there’s the Shunammite woman.(U) 26 Run out to meet her and ask, ‘Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is your son all right?’”
And she answered, “Everything’s all right.”
27 When she came up to the man of God at the mountain, she clung to his feet.(V) Gehazi came to push her away, but the man of God said, “Leave her alone—she is in severe anguish,(W) and the Lord has hidden it from me. He hasn’t told me.”
28 Then she said, “Did I ask my lord for a son? Didn’t I say, ‘Do not deceive me?’”(X)
29 So Elisha said to Gehazi, “Tuck your mantle(Y) under your belt, take my staff with you, and go. If you meet anyone, don’t stop to greet him, and if a man greets you, don’t answer him.(Z) Then place my staff on the boy’s face.”
30 The boy’s mother said to Elisha, “As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.”(AA) So he got up and followed her.
31 Gehazi went ahead of them and placed the staff on the boy’s face, but there was no sound or sign of life, so he went back to meet Elisha and told him, “The boy didn’t wake up.”(AB)
32 When Elisha got to the house, he discovered the boy lying dead on his bed.(AC) 33 So he went in, closed the door behind the two of them, and prayed to the Lord.(AD) 34 Then he went up and lay on the boy:(AE) he put mouth to mouth, eye to eye, hand to hand. While he bent down over him, the boy’s flesh became warm.(AF) 35 Elisha got up, went into the house, and paced back and forth. Then he went up and bent down over him again. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.(AG)
36 Elisha called Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunammite woman.” He called her and she came. Then Elisha said, “Pick up your son.” 37 She came, fell at his feet, and bowed to the ground; she picked up her son and left.(AH)
The Deadly Stew
38 When Elisha returned to Gilgal,(AI) there was a famine(AJ) in the land. The sons of the prophets(AK) were sitting at his feet.[a](AL) He said to his attendant, “Put on the large pot and make stew for the sons of the prophets.”
39 One went out to the field to gather herbs and found a wild vine from which he gathered as many wild gourds as his garment would hold. Then he came back and cut them up into the pot of stew, but they were unaware of what they were.
40 They served some for the men to eat, but when they ate the stew they cried out, “There’s death in the pot,(AM) man of God!” And they were unable to eat it.
41 Then Elisha said, “Get some meal.” He threw it into the pot and said, “Serve it for the people to eat.” And there was nothing bad in the pot.(AN)
The Multiplied Bread
42 A man from Baal-shalishah(AO) came to the man of God with his sack full of 20 loaves of barley bread from the first bread of the harvest. Elisha said, “Give it to the people to eat.”(AP)
43 But Elisha’s attendant asked, “What? Am I to set 20 loaves before 100 men?”(AQ)
“Give it to the people to eat,” Elisha said, “for this is what the Lord says: ‘They will eat, and they will have some left over.’” 44 So he gave it to them, and as the Lord had promised, they ate and had some left over.(AR)

Elisha and the Widow’s Olive Oil
4 One of the wives of a disciple of the prophets called to Elisha, “Sir, my husband is dead! You know how he feared the Lord. Now a creditor has come to take my two children as slaves.”
2 Elisha asked her, “What should I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?”
She answered, “I have nothing in the house except a jar of olive oil.”
3 Elisha said, “Borrow many empty containers from all your neighbors. 4 Then close the door behind you and your children, and pour oil into all those containers. When one is full, set it aside.”
5 So she left him and closed the door behind her and her children. The children kept bringing containers to her, and she kept pouring. 6 When the containers were full, she told her son, “Bring me another container.”
He told her, “There are no more containers.” So the olive oil stopped flowing. 7 She went and told the man of God.
He said, “Sell the oil, and pay your debt. The rest is for you and your children.”
Elisha Brings a Shunem Woman’s Son Back to Life
8 One day Elisha was traveling through Shunem, where a rich woman lived. She had invited him to eat ⌞with her⌟. So whenever he was in the area, he stopped in to eat.
9 She told her husband, “I know he’s a holy man of God. And he regularly travels past our house. 10 Let’s make a small room on the roof and put a bed, table, chair, and lamp stand there for him. He can stay there whenever he comes to visit us.”
11 One day he came ⌞to their house⌟, went into the upstairs room, and rested there. 12 He told his servant Gehazi, “Call this Shunem woman.”
Gehazi called her, and she stood in front of him. 13 Elisha said to Gehazi, “Ask her what we can do for her, since she has gone to a lot of trouble for us. Maybe she would like us to speak to the king or the commander of the army for her.”
She answered, “I’m already living among my own people.”
14 “What should we do for her?” Elisha asked.
Gehazi answered, “Well, she has no son, and her husband is old.”
15 Elisha said, “Call her.” So Gehazi called her, and she stood in the doorway. 16 Elisha said, “At this time next spring, you will hold a baby boy in your arms.”
She answered, “Don’t say that, sir. Don’t lie to me. You’re a man of God.”
17 But the woman became pregnant and had a son at that time next year, as Elisha had told her.
18 Several years later the boy went to his father, who was with the harvest workers. 19 ⌞Suddenly,⌟ he said to his father, “My head! My head!”
The father told his servant, “Carry him to his mother.”
20 The servant picked him up and brought him to his mother. The boy sat on her lap until noon, when he died. 21 She took him upstairs and laid him on the bed of the man of God, left ⌞the room⌟, and shut the door behind her. 22 She called her husband and said, “Please send me one of the servants and one of the donkeys. I will go quickly to the man of God and come back again.”
23 Her husband asked, “Why are you going to him today? It isn’t a New Moon Festival or a day of rest—a holy day.”
But she said goodbye to him.
24 She saddled the donkey. Then she told her servant, “Lead on. Don’t slow down unless I tell you.” 25 So she came to the man of God at Mount Carmel.
When he saw her coming at a distance, he told his servant Gehazi, “There is the woman from Shunem. 26 Run to meet her and ask her how she, her husband, and the boy are doing.”
“Everyone’s fine,” she answered.
27 When she came to the man of God at the mountain, she took hold of his feet. Gehazi went to push her away. But the man of God said, “Leave her alone. She is bitter. The Lord has hidden the reason from me. He hasn’t told me.”
28 The woman said, “I didn’t ask you for a son. I said, ‘Don’t raise my hopes.’ ”
29 The man of God told Gehazi, “Put on a belt, take my shepherd’s staff in your hand, and go. Whenever you meet anyone, don’t stop to greet him. If he greets you, don’t stop to answer him. Lay my staff on the boy’s face.”
30 The boy’s mother said, “I solemnly swear, as the Lord and you live, I will not leave without you.” So Elisha got up and followed her.
31 Gehazi went ahead of them and put the staff on the boy’s face, but there was no sound or sign of life. So Gehazi came back to meet the man of God. Gehazi told him, “The boy didn’t wake up.”
32 When Elisha came to the house, the dead boy was lying on Elisha’s bed. 33 He went into the room, closed the door, and prayed to the Lord. 34 Then he lay on the boy, putting his mouth on the boy’s mouth, his eyes on the boy’s eyes, his hands on the boy’s hands. He crouched over the boy’s body, and it became warm. 35 Elisha got up, walked across the room and came back, and then got back on the bed and crouched over him. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. 36 Elisha called Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunem woman.” Gehazi called her. When she came to him, he said, “Take your son.”
37 Then she immediately bowed at his feet. She took her son and left.
Elisha and the Poisoned Food
38 When Elisha went back to Gilgal, there was a famine in the country. ⌞One day,⌟ while the disciples of the prophets were meeting with him, he told his servant, “Put a large pot on the fire, and cook some stew for the disciples of the prophets.”
39 One of them went into the field to gather vegetables and found a wild vine. He filled his clothes with wild gourds. Then he cut them into the pot of stew without knowing what they were. 40 They dished out the food for the men to eat. As they were eating the stew, they cried out, “There’s death in the pot, man of God!” So they couldn’t eat it.
41 Elisha said, “Bring some flour.” He threw it into the pot and said, “Dish it out for the people to eat.” Then there was nothing harmful in the pot.
Elisha Feeds a Hundred People
42 A man from Baal Shalisha brought bread made from the first harvested grain, 20 barley loaves, and fresh grain to the man of God. The man of God said, “Give it to the people to eat.”
43 But his servant asked, “How can I set this in front of a hundred people?”
“Give it to the people to eat,” the man of God said. “This is what the Lord says: They will eat and even have some left over.”
44 The servant set it in front of them. They ate and had some left over, as the Lord had predicted.

2 “Ano ang maitutulong ko sa iyo?” tanong ni Eliseo. “Ano bang mayroon ka sa bahay mo?”
“Wala po, maliban sa isang boteng langis,” sagot niya.
3 Sinabi ni Eliseo, “Puntahan mo ang iyong mga kapitbahay at humiram ka ng mga lalagyan ng langis hangga't mayroon kang mahihiram. 4 Pagkatapos, magkulong kayong mag-iina sa inyong bahay at lahat ng lalagyang nahiram mo'y punuin mo ng langis na nasa bahay mo. Itabi mo ang mga napuno na.” 5 Umuwi nga ang babae at pagdating sa bahay ay nagkulong silang mag-iina at isa-isang pinuno ng langis ang mga lalagyan habang ang mga ito'y dinadala sa kanya ng kanyang mga anak.
6 Hindi alam ng ina na puno nang lahat kaya sinabi niya: “Abutan pa ninyo ako ng lalagyan.”
“Puno na pong lahat,” sagot ng kanyang mga anak. At tumigil na ang pagdaloy ng langis.
7 Pumunta siya kay Eliseo, ang lingkod ng Diyos at isinalaysay ang nangyari. Sinabi ni Eliseo sa babae, “Ipagbili mo ang langis at bayaran mo ang iyong mga utang. Ang matitira ay gamitin ninyong mag-iina.”
Si Eliseo at ang Sunamita
8 Minsan, si Eliseo'y pumunta sa Sunem. May isang mayamang babae roon at siya'y inanyayahang kumain sa kanila. Mula noon, doon siya kumakain tuwing pupunta sa lugar na iyon. 9 Sinabi ng babae sa kanyang asawa, “Natitiyak kong isang banal na lingkod ng Diyos ang taong ito. 10 Bakit di natin siya ipagpagawa ng isang silid para matuluyan niya tuwing pupunta rito? Bigyan natin siya ng higaan, mesa, upuan at ilawan.”
11 Isang araw, bumalik nga roon si Eliseo at doon siya nagpahinga sa silid na inihanda para sa kanya. 12 Tinawag niya ang katulong niyang si Gehazi at sinabi, “Tawagin mo ang babaing Sunamita.” Tinawag nga nito ang babae at di nagtagal ay dumating ang babae. 13 Sinabi niya sa kanyang katulong, “Sabihin mong pinasasalamatan natin ang pagpapagawa niya ng tuluyan nating ito. Itanong mo kung ano ang maitutulong natin sa kanya bilang ganti sa kaabalahan niya sa atin. Baka may gusto siyang ipasabi sa hari o sa pinuno ng hukbo.”
“Wala kayong dapat alalahanin. Nasisiyahan na po kami sa pamumuhay rito sa piling ng aming mga kababayan,” sagot ng babae.
14 Pagkaalis ng babae, tinanong ni Eliseo si Gehazi, “Ano kaya ang maitutulong natin sa kanya?”
Sumagot si Gehazi, “Wala po siyang anak at matanda na ang kanyang asawa.”
15 “Tawagin mo siyang muli,” utos ni Eliseo. Kaya't bumalik ang babae at tumayo sa may pintuan. 16 Sinabi(A) sa kanya ni Eliseo, “Isang taon mula ngayon ay mayroon ka nang anak na lalaking kakalungin.”
Sinabi ng babae, “Mahal na lingkod ng Diyos, huwag na po ninyo akong paasahin.”
17 Ngunit dumating ang araw at naglihi ang Sunamita. At tulad ng sinabi ni Eliseo, nanganak siya ng isang lalaki makalipas ng halos isang taon mula nang sabihin ito sa kanya.
18 At lumaki ang bata. Isang araw, sumunod ito sa kanyang ama kasama ang iba pang gumagapas sa bukid. 19 Bigla na lamang dumaing ang bata na masakit ang kanyang ulo. Sinabi ng ama sa isang katulong, “Iuwi mo na siya sa kanyang ina.” 20 Sumunod naman ang inutusan at inilagay ang bata sa kandungan ng ina nito. Ngunit nang magtatanghaling-tapat, namatay ang bata. 21 Ang bangkay ay ipinasok ng ina sa silid ni Eliseo. Inilagay niya ito sa higaan, isinara ang pinto at dali-daling lumabas.
22 Tinawag niya ang kanyang asawa at sinabi, “Madali ka! Pagayakin mo ang isang utusan at ipahanda ang isang asnong masasakyan ko. Pupunta ako sa lingkod ng Diyos.”
23 “Anong gagawin mo roon?” tanong ng asawa. “Hindi ngayon Araw ng Pamamahinga at hindi rin Kapistahan ng Bagong Buwan.”
“Kahit na. Kailangan ko siyang makausap,” sagot ng babae. 24 Nang maihanda na ang asno, dali-dali siyang sumakay at sinabi sa kanyang katulong, “Sige, pabilisin mo ang asno at huwag mong pababagalin hanggang hindi ko sinasabi sa iyo.” 25 At naglakbay sila, papunta sa Bundok ng Carmel sa kinaroroonan ni Eliseo.
Nasa daan pa lamang, natanaw na sila ni Eliseo. Sinabi nito kay Gehazi, “Dumarating ang Sunamita. 26 Salubungin mo. Kumustahin mo siya, ang kanyang asawa at ang kanyang anak.”
Nang kumustahin ni Gehazi, sumagot ang babae, “Mabuti po.” 27 Paglapit niya kay Eliseo, nagpatirapa ang babae at hinawakan ang mga paa ni Eliseo.
Itutulak sanang palayo ni Gehazi ang babae ngunit sinabi ni Eliseo, “Pabayaan mo siya. Tiyak na may malaki siyang problema. Hindi pa lang ipinapaalam sa akin ni Yahweh.”
28 Sinabi ng babae, “Humingi ba ako sa inyo ng anak? Hindi ba't sinabi kong huwag na ninyo akong paasahin?”
29 Nilingon ni Eliseo si Gehazi at sinabi, “Magbalabal ka. Dalhin mo ang aking tungkod at tumakbo ka. Kapag may nakasalubong ka sa daan, huwag mong babatiin. Kapag may bumati sa iyo, huwag mong papansinin. Tumuloy ka sa bahay nila at ipatong mo ang tungkod sa mukha ng bata.”
30 Sinabi ng Sunamita, “Saksi si Yahweh, ang Diyos na buháy,[a] at hangga't buháy ka, hindi ako aalis nang hindi ka kasama.” Pagkasabi nito'y lumakad siyang papalabas ng bahay. Kaya, tumindig na si Eliseo at sumunod sa kanya.
31 Samantala, nauna si Gehazi sa bahay ng Sunamita at ipinatong sa bangkay ng bata ang tungkod ni Eliseo. Ngunit walang palatandaang ito'y mabubuhay. Kaya, bumalik siya at sinalubong si Eliseo. Sinabi niya, “Hindi po nagising ang bata.”
32 Nagtuloy si Eliseo sa kanyang silid at nakita niya ang bangkay sa kanyang higaan. 33 Isinara niya ang pinto at nanalangin kay Yahweh. 34 Dinapaan(B) niya ang bangkay at hinawakan ang mga kamay nito. Pagkatapos, itinapat niya sa bibig at mata ng bangkay ang kanyang bibig at mata. At unti-unting uminit ang bangkay. 35 Tumayo si Eliseo at nagpabalik-balik sa loob ng silid. Muli niyang dinapaan ang bangkay. At ang bata'y bumahin nang pitong beses, saka idinilat ang mga mata. 36 Ipinatawag niya kay Gehazi ang Sunamita at nang pumasok ito, sinabi niya, “Kunin mo na ang iyong anak.” 37 Ang babae'y nagpatirapa sa paanan ni Eliseo. Pagkatapos, kinuha ang kanyang anak at dinala sa kanyang silid.
Ang Kababalaghang Ginawa ni Eliseo para sa mga Propeta
38 Kasalukuyang taggutom sa Gilgal nang magbalik doon si Eliseo. Isang araw, samantalang nakaupo sa paligid niya ang pangkat ng mga propeta, sinabi niya sa kanyang katulong, “Isalang mo ang malaking palayok at ipagluto mo ang mga propetang ito.” 39 Tumayo ang isa sa mga naroon at lumabas ng bukid upang manguha ng gulay. Nakakita siya ng isang ligaw na baging na parang upo at maraming bunga. Kumuha siya ng makakaya niyang dalhin. Pagbabalik niya'y pinagputul-putol ang mga iyon at inilagay sa palayok na nakasalang.
40 Pagkaluto, inihain niya ito ngunit nang tikman nila'y napasigaw sila, “Lingkod ng Diyos, lason po ito!” Hindi nila ito makain.
41 Sinabi ni Eliseo, “Magdala kayo rito ng kaunting harina.” Inabutan nga siya at ito'y ibinuhos sa palayok saka sinabi, “Ihain ninyo ngayon.” Nang kainin nila, wala namang masamang nangyari sa kanila.
42 Isang lalaking taga-Baal-salisa ang lumapit kay Eliseo. May dala siyang bagong aning trigo at dalawampung tinapay na yari sa unang ani niya ng sebada. Sinabi ni Eliseo, “Ihain ninyo iyan sa mga tao.”
43 Sumagot ang kanyang katulong, “Hindi po ito magkakasya sa sandaang katao.”
Iniutos niya muli, “Ihain ninyo iyan sa mga tao sapagkat sinabi ni Yahweh: Mabubusog sila at may matitira pa.” 44 At inihain nga nila iyon. Kumain ang lahat at nabusog, at marami pang natira, tulad ng sabi ni Yahweh.
