亚伦和摩西面见法老
7 耶和华对摩西说：“我要使你在法老面前像上帝一样，你哥哥亚伦是你的发言人。 2 你要把我吩咐你的话告诉你哥哥亚伦，由他要求法老让以色列人离开埃及。 3 可是，我要使法老的心刚硬，虽然我在埃及行许多神迹奇事， 4 他将无动于衷。那时，我必伸手重重地惩罚埃及，然后领我的大队子民离开埃及。 5 埃及人看见我伸手攻击他们、把以色列人带出埃及，就会知道我是耶和华。” 6 摩西和亚伦便遵命而行。 7 去见法老的时候，摩西八十岁，亚伦八十三岁。
8 耶和华对摩西和亚伦说： 9 “倘若法老要你们行神迹给他看，你就吩咐亚伦把手杖丢在法老面前，使杖变作蛇。”
10 摩西和亚伦照耶和华的吩咐来到法老面前。亚伦把手杖丢在法老和他的臣仆面前，杖就变作蛇。 11 法老召他的谋士和巫师前来，这些人是埃及的术士，他们也用邪术如法炮制。 12 各人将自己的手杖扔在地上，杖就变作蛇，但亚伦的杖吞噬了他们的杖。 13 法老却仍然硬着心，不肯听从摩西和亚伦，正如耶和华所言。
水变血之灾
14 耶和华对摩西说：“法老非常顽固，不肯释放百姓。 15 明天早晨，法老会去尼罗河边，你就在那里等他，要拿着曾变成蛇的手杖。 16 你要对他说，‘希伯来人的上帝耶和华差遣我来告诉你，要让祂的子民到旷野去事奉祂，但到如今你还是不肯。 17 所以祂说要用手杖击打尼罗河水，使河水变成血，好叫你知道祂是耶和华。 18 河里的鱼会死，河水会发臭，埃及人不能再喝尼罗河的水。’”
19 耶和华对摩西说：“你告诉亚伦，让他向埃及境内的各江河、溪流、池塘伸杖，使水变成血。埃及境内，包括木桶和石缸里将到处是血。” 20 摩西和亚伦就按着耶和华所吩咐的去做，亚伦在法老和埃及众臣仆面前举杖击打尼罗河水，河水都变成了血。 21 河里的鱼都死了，河水臭得不能饮用。埃及遍地都是血。 22 可是，法老的巫师也一样用邪术使水变成血。法老的心仍然刚硬，不肯听从摩西和亚伦的话，正如耶和华所言。 23 法老若无其事地转身回宫去了。 24 因为河水不能饮用，埃及人就在尼罗河两岸掘井取水饮用。

7 (A)Il Signore disse a *Mosè: «Vedi, io ti ho stabilito come Dio per il *faraone e tuo fratello *Aaronne sarà il tuo *profeta. 2 Tu dirai tutto quello che ti ordinerò e tuo fratello Aaronne parlerà al faraone, perché lasci partire i figli d'*Israele dal suo paese. 3 Ma io indurerò il cuore del faraone e moltiplicherò i miei segni e i miei prodigi nel paese d'Egitto. 4 Il faraone non vi darà ascolto e io metterò la mia mano sull'Egitto; farò uscire dal paese d'Egitto le mie schiere, il mio popolo, i figli d'Israele, mediante grandi atti di giudizio. 5 Gli Egiziani sapranno che io sono il Signore quando avrò steso la mia mano sull'Egitto e avrò fatto uscire i figli d'Israele di mezzo a loro».
6 Mosè e Aaronne fecero cosí; fecero come il Signore aveva loro ordinato. 7 Or Mosè aveva ottant'anni e Aaronne ottantatré quando parlarono al faraone.
Il bastone trasformato in serpente
8 (B)Il Signore disse a Mosè e ad Aaronne: 9 «Quando il faraone vi parlerà e vi dirà: “Fate un prodigio[a]!” tu dirai ad Aaronne: “Prendi il tuo bastone, gettalo davanti al faraone”; esso diventerà un serpente». 10 Mosè e Aaronne andarono dunque dal faraone e fecero come il Signore aveva ordinato. Aaronne gettò il suo bastone davanti al faraone e davanti ai suoi servitori e quello diventò un serpente. 11 Il faraone a sua volta chiamò i sapienti e gli *incantatori; e i *maghi d'Egitto fecero anch'essi la stessa cosa, con le loro arti occulte. 12 Ognuno di essi gettò il suo bastone e i bastoni divennero serpenti; ma il bastone d'Aaronne inghiottí i loro bastoni. 13 E il cuore del faraone si indurí: non diede ascolto a Mosè e ad Aaronne, come il Signore aveva detto.
Le dieci piaghe, 7:14-12:36; l'acqua mutata in sangue
14 (C)Il Signore disse a Mosè: «Il cuore del faraone è ostinato, 15 egli rifiuta di lasciare andare il popolo. Va' dal faraone domani mattina; ecco, egli uscirà per andare verso l'acqua; tu, aspettalo sulla riva del Fiume, prendi in mano il bastone che è stato mutato in serpente 16 e digli: “Il Signore, il Dio degli *Ebrei, mi ha mandato da te per dirti: Lascia andare il mio popolo perché mi serva nel deserto; ecco, fino ad ora tu non hai ubbidito. 17 Cosí dice il Signore: Da questo saprai che io sono il Signore; ecco, io percoterò col bastone che ho in mano le acque che sono nel Fiume, ed esse saranno cambiate in sangue. 18 I pesci che sono nel Fiume moriranno, il Fiume sarà inquinato e gli Egiziani non potranno piú bere l'acqua del Fiume”».
19 Il Signore disse a Mosè: «Di' ad Aaronne: “Prendi il tuo bastone e stendi la tua mano sulle acque dell'Egitto, sui loro fiumi, sui loro canali, sui loro stagni e sopra ogni raccolta d'acqua”; essi diventeranno sangue. Vi sarà sangue in tutto il paese d'Egitto, perfino nei recipienti di legno e nei recipienti di pietra». 20 Mosè e Aaronne fecero come il Signore aveva ordinato. Ed egli alzò il bastone e percosse le acque che erano nel Fiume sotto gli occhi del faraone e sotto gli occhi dei suoi servitori; e tutte le acque che erano nel Fiume furono cambiate in sangue. 21 I pesci che erano nel Fiume morirono e il Fiume fu inquinato, tanto che gli Egiziani non potevano piú bere l'acqua del Fiume. Vi fu sangue in tutto il paese d'Egitto. 22 Ma i maghi d'Egitto fecero la stessa cosa con le loro arti occulte, e il cuore del faraone si indurí: egli non diede ascolto a Mosè e ad Aaronne, come il Signore aveva predetto. 23 Il faraone volse loro le spalle, se ne andò a casa sua e non fece nessun caso nemmeno di questo. 24 Tutti gli Egiziani fecero degli scavi nei pressi del Fiume per trovare dell'acqua da bere, perché non potevano bere l'acqua del Fiume. 25 Passarono sette interi giorni, dopo che il Signore ebbe percosso il Fiume.

7 Jehová dijo a Moisés: Mira, yo te he constituido Dios para Faraón, y tu hermano Aarón será tu profeta.
2 Tú dirás todas las cosas que yo te mande, y Aarón tu hermano hablará a Faraón, para que deje ir de su tierra a los hijos de Israel.
3 Y yo endureceré el corazón de Faraón, y multiplicaré en la tierra de Egipto mis señales y mis maravillas.
4 Y Faraón no os oirá; mas yo pondré mi mano sobre Egipto, y sacaré a mis ejércitos, mi pueblo, los hijos de Israel, de la tierra de Egipto, con grandes juicios.
5 Y sabrán los egipcios que yo soy Jehová, cuando extienda mi mano sobre Egipto, y saque a los hijos de Israel de en medio de ellos.
6 E hicieron Moisés y Aarón como Jehová les mandó; así lo hicieron.
7 Era Moisés de edad de ochenta años, y Aarón de edad de ochenta y tres, cuando hablaron a Faraón.
El cayado se trueca en serpiente
8 Habló Jehová a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:
9 Si Faraón os responde diciendo: Mostrad milagro; dirás a Aarón: Toma tu vara, y échala delante de Faraón, para que se haga culebra.
10 Vinieron, pues, Moisés y Aarón a Faraón, e hicieron como Jehová lo había mandado. Y echó Aarón su vara delante de Faraón y de sus siervos, y se hizo culebra.
11 Entonces llamó también Faraón sabios y hechiceros, e hicieron también lo mismo los hechiceros de Egipto con sus encantamientos;
12 pues echó cada uno su vara, las cuales se volvieron culebras; mas la vara de Aarón devoró las varas de ellos.
13 Y el corazón de Faraón se endureció, y no los escuchó, como Jehová lo había predicho.
La plaga de sangre
14 Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: El corazón de Faraón está endurecido, y no quiere dejar ir al pueblo.
15 Ve por la mañana a Faraón, he aquí que él sale al río; y tú ponte a la ribera delante de él, y toma en tu mano la vara que se volvió culebra,
16 y dile: Jehová el Dios de los hebreos me ha enviado a ti, diciendo: Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me sirva en el desierto; y he aquí que hasta ahora no has querido oír.
17 Así ha dicho Jehová: En esto conocerás que yo soy Jehová: he aquí, yo golpearé con la vara que tengo en mi mano el agua que está en el río, y se convertirá en sangre.
18 Y los peces que hay en el río morirán, y hederá el río, y los egipcios tendrán asco de beber el agua del río.
19 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Di a Aarón: Toma tu vara, y extiende tu mano sobre las aguas de Egipto, sobre sus ríos, sobre sus arroyos y sobre sus estanques, y sobre todos sus depósitos de aguas, para que se conviertan en sangre, y haya sangre por toda la región de Egipto, así en los vasos de madera como en los de piedra.
20 Y Moisés y Aarón hicieron como Jehová lo mandó; y alzando la vara golpeó las aguas que había en el río, en presencia de Faraón y de sus siervos; y todas las aguas que había en el río se convirtieron en sangre.
21 Asimismo los peces que había en el río murieron; y el río se corrompió, tanto que los egipcios no podían beber de él. Y hubo sangre por toda la tierra de Egipto.
22 Y los hechiceros de Egipto hicieron lo mismo con sus encantamientos; y el corazón de Faraón se endureció, y no los escuchó; como Jehová lo había dicho.
23 Y Faraón se volvió y fue a su casa, y no dio atención tampoco a esto.
24 Y en todo Egipto hicieron pozos alrededor del río para beber, porque no podían beber de las aguas del río.
25 Y se cumplieron siete días después que Jehová hirió el río.

7 But Adonai said to Moshe, “I have put you in the place of God to Pharaoh, and Aharon your brother will be your prophet. 2 You are to say everything I order you, and Aharon your brother is to speak to Pharaoh and tell him to let the people of Isra’el leave his land. 3 But I will make him hardhearted. Even though I will increase my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, 4 Pharaoh will not listen to you. Then I will lay my hand on Egypt and bring my armies, my people the sons of Isra’el, out of the land of Egypt with great acts of judgment. 5 Then, when I stretch out my hand over Egypt and bring the people of Isra’el out from among them, the Egyptians will know that I am Adonai.”
6 Moshe and Aharon did exactly what Adonai ordered them to do. 7 Moshe was eighty years old and Aharon eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.
(iv) 8 Adonai said to Moshe and Aharon, 9 “When Pharaoh says to you, ‘Perform a miracle,’ tell Aharon to take his staff and throw it down in front of Pharaoh, so that it can become a snake.” 10 Moshe and Aharon went in to Pharaoh and did this, as Adonai had ordered — Aharon threw down his staff in front of Pharaoh and his servants, and it turned into a snake. 11 But Pharaoh in turn called for the sages and sorcerers; and they too, the magicians of Egypt, did the same thing, making use of their secret arts. 12 Each one threw his staff down, and they turned into snakes. But Aharon’s staff swallowed up theirs. 13 Nevertheless, Pharaoh was made hardhearted; and he didn’t listen to them, as Adonai had said would happen.
14 Adonai said to Moshe, “Pharaoh is stubborn. He refuses to let the people go. 15 Go to Pharaoh in the morning when he goes out to the water. Stand on the riverbank to confront him, take in your hand the staff which was turned into a snake, 16 and say to him, ‘Adonai, the God of the Hebrews, sent me to you to say: “Let my people go, so that they can worship me in the desert.” But until now you haven’t listened; 17 so Adonai says, “This will let you know that I am Adonai”: I will take the staff in my hand and strike the water in the river, and it will be turned into blood. 18 The fish in the river will die, the river will stink and the Egyptians won’t want to drink water from the river.’”
19 Adonai said to Moshe, “Say to Aharon, ‘Take your staff, reach out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, canals, ponds and all their reservoirs, so that they can turn into blood. There will be blood throughout the whole land of Egypt, even in the wooden buckets and stone jars.’” 20 Moshe and Aharon did exactly what Adonai had ordered. He raised the staff and, in the sight of Pharaoh and his servants, struck the water in the river; and all the water in the river was turned into blood. 21 The fish in the river died, and the river stank so badly that the Egyptians couldn’t drink its water. There was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.
22 But the magicians of Egypt did the same with their secret arts, so that Pharaoh was made hardhearted and didn’t listen to them, as Adonai had said would happen. 23 Pharaoh just turned and went back to his palace, without taking any of this to heart. 24 All the Egyptians dug around the river for water to drink, because they couldn’t drink the river water.
25 Seven days after Adonai had struck the river, 26 (8:1) Adonai said to Moshe, “Go in to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Here is what Adonai says: “Let my people go, so that they can worship me. 27 (8:2) If you refuse to let them go, I will strike all your territory with frogs. 28 (8:3) The river will swarm with frogs. They will go up, enter your palace and go into your bedroom, onto your bed. They will enter the houses of your servants and your people and go into your ovens and kneading bowls. 29 (8:4) The frogs will climb all over you, your people and your servants.”’”
