Consagración de Aarón y de sus hijos

(Lv. 8.1-36)

29 Esto es lo que les harás para consagrarlos, para que sean mis sacerdotes: Toma un becerro de la vacada, y dos carneros sin defecto; 2 y panes sin levadura, y tortas sin levadura amasadas con aceite, y hojaldres sin levadura untadas con aceite; las harás de flor de harina de trigo. 3 Y las pondrás en un canastillo, y en el canastillo las ofrecerás, con el becerro y los dos carneros. 4 Y llevarás a Aarón y a sus hijos a la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión, y los lavarás con agua. 5 Y tomarás las vestiduras, y vestirás a Aarón la túnica, el manto del efod, el efod y el pectoral, y le ceñirás con el cinto del efod; 6 y pondrás la mitra sobre su cabeza, y sobre la mitra pondrás la diadema santa. 7 Luego tomarás el aceite de la unción, y lo derramarás sobre su cabeza, y le ungirás. 8 Y harás que se acerquen sus hijos, y les vestirás las túnicas. 9 Les ceñirás el cinto a Aarón y a sus hijos, y les atarás las tiaras, y tendrán el sacerdocio por derecho perpetuo. Así consagrarás a Aarón y a sus hijos.

10 Después llevarás el becerro delante del tabernáculo de reunión, y Aarón y sus hijos pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del becerro. 11 Y matarás el becerro delante de Jehová, a la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión. 12 Y de la sangre del becerro tomarás y pondrás sobre los cuernos del altar con tu dedo, y derramarás toda la demás sangre al pie del altar. 13 Tomarás también toda la grosura que cubre los intestinos, la grosura de sobre el hígado, los dos riñones, y la grosura que está sobre ellos, y lo quemarás sobre el altar. 14 Pero la carne del becerro, y su piel y su estiércol, los quemarás a fuego fuera del campamento; es ofrenda por el pecado.

15 Asimismo tomarás uno de los carneros, y Aarón y sus hijos pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del carnero. 16 Y matarás el carnero, y con su sangre rociarás sobre el altar alrededor. 17 Cortarás el carnero en pedazos, y lavarás sus intestinos y sus piernas, y las pondrás sobre sus trozos y sobre su cabeza. 18 Y quemarás todo el carnero sobre el altar; es holocausto de olor grato(A) para Jehová, es ofrenda quemada a Jehová.

19 Tomarás luego el otro carnero, y Aarón y sus hijos pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del carnero. 20 Y matarás el carnero, y tomarás de su sangre y la pondrás sobre el lóbulo de la oreja derecha de Aarón, sobre el lóbulo de la oreja de sus hijos, sobre el dedo pulgar de las manos derechas de ellos, y sobre el dedo pulgar de los pies derechos de ellos, y rociarás la sangre sobre el altar alrededor. 21 Y con la sangre que estará sobre el altar, y el aceite de la unción, rociarás sobre Aarón, sobre sus vestiduras, sobre sus hijos, y sobre las vestiduras de estos; y él será santificado, y sus vestiduras, y sus hijos, y las vestiduras de sus hijos con él.

22 Luego tomarás del carnero la grosura, y la cola, y la grosura que cubre los intestinos, y la grosura del hígado, y los dos riñones, y la grosura que está sobre ellos, y la espaldilla derecha; porque es carnero de consagración. 23 También una torta grande de pan, y una torta de pan de aceite, y una hojaldre del canastillo de los panes sin levadura presentado a Jehová, 24 y lo pondrás todo en las manos de Aarón, y en las manos de sus hijos; y lo mecerás como ofrenda mecida delante de Jehová. 25 Después lo tomarás de sus manos y lo harás arder en el altar, sobre el holocausto, por olor grato delante de Jehová. Es ofrenda encendida a Jehová.

26 Y tomarás el pecho del carnero de las consagraciones, que es de Aarón, y lo mecerás por ofrenda mecida delante de Jehová; y será porción tuya. 27 Y apartarás[a] el pecho de la ofrenda mecida, y la espaldilla de la ofrenda elevada, lo que fue mecido y lo que fue elevado del carnero de las consagraciones de Aarón y de sus hijos, 28 y será para Aarón y para sus hijos como estatuto perpetuo para los hijos de Israel, porque es ofrenda elevada; y será una ofrenda elevada de los hijos de Israel, de sus sacrificios de paz, porción de ellos elevada en ofrenda a Jehová.

29 Y las vestiduras santas, que son de Aarón, serán de sus hijos después de él, para ser ungidos en ellas, y para ser en ellas consagrados. 30 Por siete días las vestirá el que de sus hijos tome su lugar como sacerdote, cuando venga al tabernáculo de reunión para servir en el santuario.

31 Y tomarás el carnero de las consagraciones, y cocerás su carne en lugar santo. 32 Y Aarón y sus hijos comerán la carne del carnero, y el pan que estará en el canastillo, a la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión. 33 Y comerán aquellas cosas con las cuales se hizo expiación, para llenar sus manos para consagrarlos; mas el extraño no las comerá, porque son santas. 34 Y si sobrare hasta la mañana algo de la carne de las consagraciones y del pan, quemarás al fuego lo que hubiere sobrado; no se comerá, porque es cosa santa.

35 Así, pues, harás a Aarón y a sus hijos, conforme a todo lo que yo te he mandado; por siete días los consagrarás. 36 Cada día ofrecerás el becerro del sacrificio por el pecado, para las expiaciones; y purificarás el altar cuando hagas expiación por él, y lo ungirás para santificarlo. 37 Por siete días harás expiación por el altar, y lo santificarás, y será un altar santísimo: cualquiera cosa que tocare el altar, será santificada.

Las ofrendas diarias

(Nm. 28.1-8)

38 Esto es lo que ofrecerás sobre el altar: dos corderos de un año cada día, continuamente. 39 Ofrecerás uno de los corderos por la mañana, y el otro cordero ofrecerás a la caída de la tarde. 40 Además, con cada cordero una décima parte de un efa de flor de harina amasada con la cuarta parte de un hin de aceite de olivas machacadas; y para la libación, la cuarta parte de un hin de vino. 41 Y ofrecerás el otro cordero a la caída de la tarde, haciendo conforme a la ofrenda de la mañana, y conforme a su libación, en olor grato; ofrenda encendida a Jehová. 42 Esto será el holocausto continuo por vuestras generaciones, a la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión, delante de Jehová, en el cual me reuniré con vosotros, para hablaros allí. 43 Allí me reuniré con los hijos de Israel; y el lugar será santificado con mi gloria. 44 Y santificaré el tabernáculo de reunión y el altar; santificaré asimismo a Aarón y a sus hijos, para que sean mis sacerdotes. 45 Y habitaré entre los hijos de Israel, y seré su Dios. 46 Y conocerán que yo soy Jehová su Dios, que los saqué de la tierra de Egipto, para habitar en medio de ellos. Yo Jehová su Dios.

Aaron and His Sons Consecrated(A)

29 “And this is what you shall do to them to hallow them for ministering to Me as priests: (B)Take one young bull and two rams without blemish, 2 and (C)unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil (you shall make them of wheat flour). 3 You shall put them in one basket and bring them in the basket, with the bull and the two rams.

4 “And Aaron and his sons you shall bring to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, (D)and you shall wash them with water. 5 (E)Then you shall take the garments, put the tunic on Aaron, and the robe of the ephod, the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with (F)the intricately woven band of the ephod. 6 (G)You shall put the turban on his head, and put the holy crown on the turban. 7 And you shall take the anointing (H)oil, pour it on his head, and anoint him. 8 Then (I)you shall bring his sons and put tunics on them. 9 And you shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and put the hats on them. (J)The priesthood shall be theirs for a perpetual statute. So you shall (K)consecrate Aaron and his sons.

10 “You shall also have the bull brought before the tabernacle of meeting, and (L)Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the bull. 11 Then you shall kill the bull before the Lord, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 12 You shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on (M)the horns of the altar with your finger, and (N)pour all the blood beside the base of the altar. 13 And (O)you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar. 14 But (P)the flesh of the bull, with its skin and its offal, you shall burn with fire outside the camp. It is a sin offering.

15 (Q)“You shall also take one ram, and Aaron and his sons shall (R)put their hands on the head of the ram; 16 and you shall kill the ram, and you shall take its blood and (S)sprinkle it all around on the altar. 17 Then you shall cut the ram in pieces, wash its entrails and its legs, and put them with its pieces and with its head. 18 And you shall burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a (T)burnt offering to the Lord; it is a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

19 (U)“You shall also take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the ram. 20 Then you shall kill the ram, and take some of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tip of the right ear of his sons, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar. 21 And you shall take some of the blood that is on the altar, and some of (V)the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and on his garments, on his sons and on the garments of his sons with him; and (W)he and his garments shall be hallowed, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him.

22 “Also you shall take the fat of the ram, the fat tail, the fat that covers the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, the two kidneys and the fat on them, the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration), 23 (X)one loaf of bread, one cake made with oil, and one wafer from the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the Lord; 24 and you shall put all these in the hands of Aaron and in the hands of his sons, and you shall (Y)wave them as a wave offering before the Lord. 25 (Z)You shall receive them back from their hands and burn them on the altar as a burnt offering, as a sweet aroma before the Lord. It is an offering made by fire to the Lord.

26 “Then you shall take (AA)the breast of the ram of Aaron’s consecration and wave it as a wave offering before the Lord; and it shall be your portion. 27 And from the ram of the consecration you shall consecrate (AB)the breast of the wave offering which is waved, and the thigh of the heave offering which is raised, of that which is for Aaron and of that which is for his sons. 28 It shall be from the children of Israel for Aaron and his sons (AC)by a statute forever. For it is a heave offering; (AD)it shall be a heave offering from the children of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, that is, their heave offering to the Lord.

29 “And the (AE)holy garments of Aaron (AF)shall be his sons’ after him, (AG)to be anointed in them and to be consecrated in them. 30 (AH)That son who becomes priest in his place shall put them on for (AI)seven days, when he enters the tabernacle of meeting to minister in the [a]holy place.

31 “And you shall take the ram of the consecration and (AJ)boil its flesh in the holy place. 32 Then Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the (AK)bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 33 (AL)They shall eat those things with which the atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them; (AM)but an outsider shall not eat them, because they are holy. 34 And if any of the flesh of the consecration offerings, or of the bread, remains until the morning, then (AN)you shall burn the remainder with fire. It shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

35 “Thus you shall do to Aaron and his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. (AO)Seven days you shall consecrate them. 36 And you (AP)shall offer a bull every day as a sin offering for atonement. (AQ)You shall cleanse the altar when you make atonement for it, and you shall anoint it to sanctify it. 37 Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and sanctify it. And the altar shall be most holy. (AR)Whatever touches the altar must be holy.

The Daily Offerings(AS)

38 “Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: (AT)two lambs of the first year, (AU)day by day continually. 39 One lamb you shall offer (AV)in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer [b]at twilight. 40 With the one lamb shall be one-tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering. 41 And the other lamb you shall (AW)offer [c]at twilight; and you shall offer with it the grain offering and the drink offering, as in the morning, for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord. 42 This shall be (AX)a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord, (AY)where I will meet you to speak with you. 43 And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle (AZ)shall be sanctified by My glory. 44 So I will consecrate the tabernacle of meeting and the altar. I will also (BA)consecrate both Aaron and his sons to minister to Me as priests. 45 (BB)I will dwell among the children of Israel and will (BC)be their God. 46 And they shall know that (BD)I am the Lord their God, who (BE)brought them up out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.
