颁布十诫(A)
20 神吩咐以下这一切话，说：
2 “我是耶和华你的 神，曾经把你从埃及地，从为奴之家领出来。
3 “除我以外，你不可有别的神。
4 “不可为自己做偶像，也不可做天上、地下和地底下水中各物的形象。 5 不可跪拜它们，也不可事奉它们，因为我耶和华你们的 神是忌邪的 神；恨恶我的，我必追讨他们的罪，从父亲到儿子，直到三四代。 6 爱我和遵守我诫命的，我必向他们施慈爱，直到千代。
7 “不可妄称耶和华你 神的名，因为妄称耶和华的名的，耶和华必不以他为无罪。
8 “要记念安息日，守为圣日。 9 六日要劳碌，作你一切工作。 10 但第七日是耶和华你的 神的安息日；这一日，你和你的儿女，你的仆婢和牲畜，以及住在你城里的寄居者，不可作任何的工。 11 因为耶和华在六日之内造天、地、海和其中的万物，第七日就歇息了；所以耶和华赐福安息日，定为圣日。
12 “要孝敬父母，使你在耶和华你的 神赐给你的地上得享长寿。
13 “不可杀人。
14 “不可奸淫。
15 “不可偷盗。
16 “不可作假证供陷害你的邻舍。
17 “不可贪爱你邻舍的房屋；不可贪爱你邻舍的妻子、仆婢、牛驴和他的任何东西。”
18 全体人民都看见打雷、闪电、角声和冒着烟的山；人民看见了，就颤抖，远远地站着。 19 他们对摩西说：“求你和我们说话吧，我们必定听你的话，不可让 神和我们说话，恐怕我们死亡。” 20 摩西回答人民：“不要惧怕，因为 神降临是要试验你们，叫你们常常敬畏他，不至犯罪。” 21 于是，人民远远地站着，摩西却走近 神所在的幽暗之中。
筑坛的条例
22 耶和华对摩西说：“你要对以色列人这样说：‘你们亲自看见我从天上和你们说话了。 23 你们不可做银的神像和金的神像和我相比，你们决不可为自己做这些神像。 24 你要为我筑一座土坛，把你的燔祭、平安祭和牛羊献在坛上；在我使人记念我名的地方，我都必到你那里去赐福你。 25 你若是为我筑一座石坛，不可用凿过的石头来建筑，因为你在石头上一动用工具，就把坛污秽了。 26 你上我的坛，不可用梯级，免得在坛上露出你的下体来。’”

20 Ndipo Mulungu anayankhula mawu onse awa nati:
2 “Ine ndine Yehova Mulungu wako amene ndinakutulutsa ku Igupto, mʼdziko la ukapolo.
3 “Usakhale ndi milungu ina koma Ine ndekha.”
4 “Usadzipangire chofanizira chinthu chilichonse chakumwamba kapena cha pa dziko lapansi kapena cha mʼmadzi a pansi pa dziko. 5 Usazigwadire kapena kuzipembedza, pakuti Ine Yehova Mulungu wako, ndine Mulungu wansanje, wolanga ana chifukwa cha tchimo la makolo awo mpaka mʼbado wachitatu ndi wachinayi wa iwo amene amadana nane. 6 Koma ndimaonetsa chikondi chosasinthika ku mibado miyandamiyanda ya anthu amene amandikonda, ndi kusunga malamulo anga.
7 “Usagwiritse ntchito molakwika dzina la Yehova Mulungu wako, pakuti Yehova adzamutenga kukhala wochimwa aliyense amene akugwiritsa ntchito dzina lakelo molakwika.
8 “Uzisunga tsiku la Sabata kuti likhale lopatulika. 9 Uzigwira ntchito zako zonse masiku asanu ndi limodzi. 10 Koma tsiku lachisanu ndi chiwiri ndi Sabata, tsiku loperekedwa kwa Yehova Mulungu wako. Tsiku limeneli musagwire ntchito iliyonse, inuyo kapena mwana wanu wamwamuna kapena mwana wanu wamkazi, wantchito wanu wamwamuna kapena mdzakazi wanu, ziweto zanu kapena mlendo amene akukhala mʼmudzi mwanu. 11 Pakuti Yehova anapanga kumwamba ndi dziko lapansi, nyanja ndi zonse zimene zili mʼmenemo mʼmasiku asanu ndi limodzi. Iye anapuma pa tsiku lachisanu ndi chiwiri. Kotero Yehova anadalitsa tsiku la Sabata kuti likhale loyera.
12 “Lemekeza abambo ako ndi amayi ako kuti ukhale ndi moyo wautali mʼdziko limene Yehova Mulungu wako akukupatsa.
13 “Usaphe.
14 “Usachite chigololo.
15 “Usabe.
16 “Usapereke umboni womunamizira mnzako.
17 “Usasirire nyumba ya mnzako. Usasirire mkazi wa mnzako kapena wantchito wake wamwamuna kapena mdzakazi wake, ngʼombe yake kapena bulu wake, kapena chilichonse cha mnzako.”
18 Pamene anthu ankamva mabingu ndi kuona ziphaliwali ndi kumvanso lipenga ndi kuona utsi umene umafuka mʼphiri, ananjenjemera ndi mantha. Ndipo iwo anayima patali. 19 Ndipo anati kwa Mose, “Iwe utiyankhule ndipo tidzamvera. Koma usalole kuti Mulungu atiyankhule, tingafe.”
20 Koma Mose anati kwa anthuwo, “Musachite mantha. Mulungu wabwera kudzakuyesani kuti mukhale ndi mtima woopa Mulungu kuti musamuchimwire.”
21 Anthu aja anayima patali koma Mose anayandikira mtambo wakuda kumene kunali Mulungu.

22 Ndipo Yehova anati kwa Mose, “Awuze izi Aisraeli: ‘Inu mwaona nokha kuti Ine ndakuyankhulani kuchokera kumwamba. 23 Choncho musadzipangire milungu yasiliva kapena yagolide kuti muziyipembedza pamodzi ndi Ine.’ ”
24 Mundimangire guwa ladothi ndipo muziperekapo nsembe zopsereza ndi nsembe zachiyanjano, nkhosa, mbuzi ndi ngʼombe zanu. Pamalo paliponse pamene Ine ndidzakonza kuti muzinditamandirapo, ndidzabwera ndi kukudalitsani. 25 Ngati mudzandimangira guwa lansembe lamiyala, musagwiritse ntchito miyala yosema, pakuti mudzalidetsa mukadzagwiritsa ntchito zida. 26 Musamakwere pa makwerero popita pa guwa langa lansembe kuti mungaonetse maliseche anu.

20 Entonces Dios habló todas estas palabras diciendo:
2 «(A)Yo soy el Señor tu Dios, que te saqué de la tierra de Egipto, de la casa de servidumbre[a](B).
3 »No tendrás otros dioses delante de[b] Mí(C).
4 »No te harás ningún ídolo, ni semejanza alguna de lo que está arriba en el cielo, ni abajo en la tierra(D), ni en las aguas debajo de la tierra. 5 No los adorarás[c] ni los servirás[d](E). Porque Yo, el Señor tu Dios, soy Dios celoso(F), que castigo la iniquidad de los padres sobre los hijos hasta[e] la tercera y cuarta generación(G) de los que me aborrecen, 6 y muestro misericordia a millares, a los que me aman y guardan Mis mandamientos(H).
7 »No tomarás el nombre del Señor tu Dios en vano, porque el Señor no tendrá por inocente al que tome Su nombre en vano(I).
8 »Acuérdate del día de reposo para santificarlo(J). 9 Seis días trabajarás y harás toda tu obra(K), 10 pero el séptimo día es día de reposo para el Señor tu Dios. No harás en él trabajo alguno, tú, ni tu hijo, ni tu hija, ni tu siervo, ni tu sierva, ni tu ganado, ni el extranjero que está contigo[f](L). 11 Porque en seis días hizo el Señor los cielos y la tierra, el mar y todo lo que en ellos hay, y reposó en el séptimo día(M). Por tanto, el Señor bendijo el día de reposo y lo santificó.
12 »Honra a tu padre y a tu madre(N), para que tus días sean prolongados en la tierra que el Señor tu Dios te da(O).
13 »No matarás(P).
14 »No cometerás adulterio(Q).
15 »No hurtarás(R).
16 »No darás falso testimonio(S) contra tu prójimo(T).
17 »No codiciarás la casa de tu prójimo(U). No codiciarás la mujer de tu prójimo(V), ni su siervo, ni su sierva, ni su buey, ni su asno, ni nada que sea de tu prójimo».
El pueblo teme al Señor
18 Todo el pueblo percibía los truenos[g] y relámpagos, el sonido de la trompeta y el monte que humeaba(W). Cuando el pueblo vio aquello, temblaron, y se mantuvieron a distancia. 19 Entonces dijeron a Moisés: «Habla tú con nosotros y escucharemos, pero que no hable Dios con nosotros, no sea que muramos(X)». 20 Moisés respondió al pueblo: «No teman(Y), porque Dios ha venido para ponerlos a prueba(Z), y para que Su temor permanezca en[h] ustedes(AA), y para que no pequen». 21 El pueblo se mantuvo a distancia, mientras Moisés se acercaba a la densa nube(AB) donde estaba Dios.
22 Entonces el Señor dijo a Moisés: «Así dirás a los israelitas: “Ustedes han visto que les he hablado[i] desde el cielo(AC). 23 No harán junto a Mí[j] dioses de plata ni dioses de oro(AD). No se los harán(AE). 24 Harás un altar de tierra para Mí(AF), y sobre él sacrificarás tus holocaustos(AG) y tus ofrendas de paz(AH), tus ovejas y tus bueyes. En todo lugar donde Yo haga recordar Mi nombre, vendré a ti y te bendeciré(AI). 25 Si me haces un altar de piedra, no lo construirás de piedras labradas(AJ). Porque si alzas tu cincel sobre él, lo profanarás. 26 Y no subirás por gradas a Mi altar, para que tu desnudez no se descubra sobre él(AK)”.

2 “I am the Lord your God,(D) who brought you out(E) of Egypt,(F) out of the land of slavery.(G)
3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.(H)
4 “You shall not make for yourself an image(I) in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship(J) them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God,(K) punishing the children for the sin of the parents(L) to the third and fourth generation(M) of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand(N) generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
7 “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.(O)
8 “Remember the Sabbath(P) day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,(Q) 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath(R) to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth,(S) the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested(T) on the seventh day.(U) Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
12 “Honor your father and your mother,(V) so that you may live long(W) in the land(X) the Lord your God is giving you.
13 “You shall not murder.(Y)
14 “You shall not commit adultery.(Z)
15 “You shall not steal.(AA)
16 “You shall not give false testimony(AB) against your neighbor.(AC)
17 “You shall not covet(AD) your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet(AE) and saw the mountain in smoke,(AF) they trembled with fear.(AG) They stayed at a distance 19 and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak(AH) to us or we will die.”(AI)
20 Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid.(AJ) God has come to test(AK) you, so that the fear(AL) of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”(AM)
21 The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness(AN) where God was.
Idols and Altars
22 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites this: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven:(AO) 23 Do not make any gods to be alongside me;(AP) do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.(AQ)
24 “‘Make an altar(AR) of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings(AS) and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name(AT) to be honored, I will come to you and bless(AU) you. 25 If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool(AV) on it. 26 And do not go up to my altar on steps, or your private parts(AW) may be exposed.’
