无酵节

逾越节的礼仪

灭头生之灾

12 L'Eterno parlò a Mosè e ad Aaronne nel paese d'Egitto dicendo:
2 «Questo mese sarà per voi il mese piú importante, sarà per voi il primo dei mesi dell'anno.
3 Parlate a tutta l'assemblea d'Israele e dite: "Il decimo giorno di questo mese, ogni uomo prenda per se stesso un agnello, secondo la grandezza della famiglia del padre, un agnello per casa.
4 Se poi la casa è troppo piccola per un agnello, ne prenda uno in comune col piú vicino di casa, tenendo conto del numero delle persone; voi determinerete la quantità dell'agnello necessario, in base a ciò che ognuno può mangiare.
5 Il vostro agnello sia senza difetto, maschio, dell'anno; potrete prendere un agnello o un capretto.
6 Lo conserverete fino al quattordicesimo giorno di questo mese, e tutta l'assemblea del popolo d'Israele lo ucciderà sull'imbrunire.
7 Prenderanno quindi del sangue e lo metteranno sui due stipiti e sull'architrave delle case dove lo mangeranno.
8 Ne mangeranno la carne arrostita al fuoco, quella stessa notte, la mangeranno con pane senza lievito e con erbe amare.
9 Non ne mangerete niente di crudo o di lessato nell'acqua, ma sia arrostito al fuoco con la testa, le gambe e le interiora.
10 Non ne lascerete alcun avanzo fino al mattino; e quel che sarà rimasto fino al mattino, lo brucerete col fuoco.
11 Lo mangerete in questa maniera: coi vostri lombi cinti, coi vostri sandali ai piedi e col vostro bastone in mano; lo mangerete in fretta: è la Pasqua dell'Eterno.
12 In quella notte io passerò per il paese d'Egitto e colpirò ogni primogenito nel paese d'Egitto, tanto uomo che bestia, e farò giustizia di tutti gli dei d'Egitto. Io sono l'Eterno.
13 E il sangue sarà un segno per voi sulle case dove siete; quando io vedrò il sangue passerò oltre e non vi sarà piaga su di voi per distruggervi, quando colpirò il paese d'Egitto.
14 Quel giorno sarà per voi un giorno da ricordare e lo celebrerete come una festa all'Eterno; lo celebrerete d'età in età come una legge perpetua.
15 Per sette giorni mangerete pani azzimi. Nel primo giorno provvederete a muovere ogni lievito dalle vostre case, poiché chiunque mangerà pane lievitato, dal primo al settimo giorno, sarà reciso da Israele.
16 Nel primo giorno avrete una santa convocazione, e una santa convocazione anche il settimo giorno. Non si faccia alcun lavoro in quei giorni; si prepari soltanto ciò che ognuno deve mangiare, e non altro.
17 Osserverete dunque la festa degli azzimi, poiché proprio in questo giorno ho fatto uscire le vostre schiere dal paese d'Egitto; osserverete dunque questo giorno d'età in età, come legge perpetua.
18 Nel primo mese, dal quattordicesimo giorno del mese, alla sera, fino al ventunesimo giorno, alla sera, mangerete pani azzimi.
19 Per sette giorni non si trovi lievito nelle vostre case, perché chiunque mangerà qualcosa di lievitato, quel tale sarà reciso dall'assemblea d'Israele, sia egli forestiero o nativo del paese.
20 Non mangerete nulla di lievitato; in tutte le vostre dimore mangerete pani azzimi"».
21 Mosè dunque chiamò tutti gli anziani d'Israele e disse loro: «andate e prendete degli agnelli per voi e per le vostre famiglie, e immolate la Pasqua.
22 Poi prenderete un mazzetto d'issopo, lo intingerete nel sangue che è nel catino, e con il sangue che è nel catino spruzzerete l'architrave e i due stipiti delle porte; e nessuno di voi uscirà dalla porta di casa sua fino al mattino.
23 Poiché l'Eterno passerà per colpire gli Egiziani; quando però vedrà il sangue sull'architrave e sui due stipiti, l'Eterno passerà oltre la porta e non permetterà al distruttore di entrare nelle vostre case per colpirvi.
24 Osservate dunque questo come una prescrizione perpetua per voi e per i vostri figli.
25 Quando sarete entrati nel paese che l'Eterno vi darà, come egli ha detto, osserverete questo rito.
26 Quando i vostri figli vi chiederanno "Che significa per voi questo rito?".
27 risponderete: "Questo è il sacrificio della Pasqua dell'Eterno, che passò oltre le case dei figli d'Israele in Egitto, quando colpì gli Egiziani e risparmiò le nostre case". E il popolo si inchinò e adorò.
28 Allora i figli d'Israele andarono e fecero così; essi fecero come l'Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè e ad Aaronne.
29 Perciò avvenne che a mezzanotte l'Eterno colpì tutti i primogeniti nel paese di Egitto. dal primogenito del Faraone che sedeva sul suo trono, al primogenito del prigioniero che era in carcere, e tutti i primogeniti del bestiame.
30 Così il Faraone si alzò di notte, lui con tutti i suoi servi e tutti gi Egiziani; e vi fu un grande grido in Egitto, perché non c'era casa dove non vi fosse un morto.
31 Allora egli chiamò Mosè ed Aaronne di notte e disse: «Alzatevi e partite di mezzo al mio popolo, voi e i figli d'Israele; e andate a servire l'Eterno. come avete detto.
32 Prendete le vostre greggi e i vostri armenti, come avete detto, e andate; e benedite anche me!.
33 E gli Egiziani sollecitavano il popolo per affrettarne la partenza dal paese, perché dicevano: «Moriremo tutti quanti».
34 Il popolo portò via la sua pasta prima che fosse lievitata; avvolse le sue madie nei suoi vestiti e se le mise sulle spalle.
35 Or i figli d'Israele fecero come aveva detto Mosè e chiesero agli Egiziani degli oggetti d'argento, degli oggetti d'oro e dei vestiti;
36 e l'Eterno fece entrare i popolo nelle grazie agli occhi degli Egiziani, che diedero loro quel che chiedevano, così spogliarono gli Egiziani.

40 Or il tempo che i figli d'Israele trascorsero in Egitto fu di quattrocentotrent'anni.
41 Alla fine dei quattrocentotrent'anni, proprio in quel giorno, avvenne che tutte le schiere dell'Eterno uscirono dal paese dell'Egitto.
42 Questa è una notte da celebrarsi in onore dell'Eterno, perché egli li fece uscire dal paese d'Egitto; questa notte sarà una solenne celebrazione all'Eterno, per tutti i figli d'Israele di generazione in generazione.
43 Quindi l'Eterno disse a Mosè e ad Aaronne: «Questa la prescrizione della Pasqua: nessuno straniero ne mangerà;
44 ma qualunque schiavo, comprato con denaro, dopo averlo circonciso, potrà mangiarne.
45 L'avventizio e il mercenario non ne mangeranno.
46 L'agnello si mangerà in una sola casa; non porterete nulla della sua carne fuori di casa e non ne spezzerete alcun osso.
47 Tutta l'assemblea d'Israele la celebrerà.
48 E quando uno straniero risiederà con te vorrà fare la Pasqua in onore dell'Eterno, siano circoncisi prima tutti i maschi della sua famiglia e poi si avvicini pure a celebrare, egli sarà come un nativo del paese; ma nessun incirconciso ne mangerà.
49 Vi sarà un'unica legge per i nativo del paese e per lo straniero che risiede tra di voi».
50 Tutti i figli d'Israele fecero così; essi fecero esattamente come l'Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè e ad Aaronne.
51 Così avvenne che proprio in quel giorno l'Eterno fece uscire i figli d'Israele dal paese d'Egitto, secondo le loro schiere.

12 Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 (B)“This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the (C)tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. 4 And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man’s need you shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be (D)without[a] blemish, a male [b]of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats. 6 Now you shall keep it until the (E)fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. 7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. 8 Then they shall eat the flesh on that (F)night; (G)roasted in fire, with (H)unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. 9 Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but (I)roasted in fire—its head with its legs and its entrails. 10 (J)You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire. 11 And thus you shall eat it: [c]with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
14 ‘So this day shall be to you (O)a memorial; and you shall keep it as a (P)feast to the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast (Q)by an everlasting ordinance. 15 (R)Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, (S)that [d]person shall be [e]cut off from Israel. 16 On the first day there shall be (T)a holy convocation, and on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation for you. No manner of work shall be done on them; but that which everyone must eat—that only may be prepared by you. 17 So you shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for (U)on this same day I will have brought your [f]armies (V)out of the land of Egypt. 21 Then (Y)Moses called for all the (Z)elders of Israel and said to them, (AA)“Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb. 22 (AB)And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and (AC)strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning. 23 (AD)For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the (AE)blood on the [g]lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and (AF)not allow (AG)the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. 24 And you shall (AH)observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever. 25 It will come to pass when you come to the land which the Lord will give you, (AI)just as He promised, that you shall keep this service. 26 (AJ)And it shall be, when your children say to you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’ 27 that you shall say, (AK)‘It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.’ ” So the people (AL)bowed their heads and worshiped. 28 Then the children of Israel went away and (AM)did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
The Tenth Plague: Death of the Firstborn(AN)
29 (AO)And it came to pass at midnight that (AP)the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was [h]in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of (AQ)livestock. 30 So Pharaoh rose in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
The Exodus
31 Then he (AR)called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, “Rise, go out from among my people, (AS)both you and the children of Israel. And go, serve the Lord as you have (AT)said. 32 (AU)Also take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone; and bless me also.”
33 (AV)And the Egyptians (AW)urged the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste. For they said, “We shall all be dead.” 34 So the people took their dough before it was leavened, having their kneading bowls bound up in their clothes on their shoulders. 35 Now the children of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, and they had asked from the Egyptians (AX)articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing. 36 (AY)And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus (AZ)they plundered the Egyptians.
37 Then (BA)the children of Israel journeyed from (BB)Rameses to Succoth, about (BC)six hundred thousand men on foot, besides children. 38 A (BD)mixed multitude went up with them also, and flocks and herds—a great deal of (BE)livestock. 39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they had brought out of Egypt; for it was not leavened, because (BF)they were driven out of Egypt and could not wait, nor had they prepared provisions for themselves.
40 Now the [i]sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in [j]Egypt was (BG)four hundred and thirty years. 41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that (BH)all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 42 It is (BI)a [k]night of solemn observance to the Lord for bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This is that night of the Lord, a solemn observance for all the children of Israel throughout their generations.
Passover Regulations(BJ)
43 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “This is (BK)the ordinance of the Passover: No foreigner shall eat it. 44 But every man’s servant who is bought for money, when you have (BL)circumcised him, then he may eat it. 45 (BM)A sojourner and a hired servant shall not eat it. 46 In one house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house, (BN)nor shall you break one of its bones. 47 (BO)All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. 48 And (BP)when a stranger [l]dwells with you and wants to keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as a native of the land. For no uncircumcised person shall eat it. 49 (BQ)One law shall be for the native-born and for the stranger who dwells among you.”
50 Thus all the children of Israel did; as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did. 51 (BR)And it came to pass, on that very same day, that the Lord brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt (BS)according to their armies.

14 ‘Now (R)this day shall be (S)a memorial to you, and you shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord; throughout your generations you are to celebrate it as [q](T)a permanent ordinance. 15 For (U)seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, but on the first day you shall remove dough with yeast from your houses; for whoever eats anything with yeast from the first day until the seventh day, (V)that [r]person shall be cut off from Israel. 16 And (W)on the first day you shall have a holy assembly, and another holy assembly on the seventh day; no work at all shall be done on them, except for what must be eaten by every person—that alone may be [s]prepared by you. 17 You shall also keep (X)the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for on this (Y)very day I brought your [t]multitudes out of the land of Egypt; therefore you shall keep this day throughout your generations as (Z)a [u]permanent ordinance. 18 (AA)In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening. 19 For (AB)seven days there shall be no dough with yeast found in your houses; for whoever eats anything with yeast, that [v](AC)person shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a stranger or a native of the land. 20 You shall not eat anything with yeast; in all your dwellings you shall eat unleavened bread.’”
21 Then (AD)Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Go and (AE)take for yourselves [w]lambs according to your families, and slaughter (AF)the Passover lamb. 22 And (AG)you shall take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood which is in the basin, and [x]apply some of the blood that is in the basin to the lintel and the two doorposts; and none of you shall go outside the door of his house until morning.
A Memorial of Redemption
23 For (AH)the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; but when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will (AI)not allow the (AJ)destroyer to come in to your houses to strike you. 24 And (AK)you shall keep this event as an ordinance for you and your children forever. 25 When you enter the land which the Lord will give you, as He has [y]promised, you shall keep this [z]rite. 26 (AL)And when your children say to you, ‘[aa]What does this rite mean to you?’ 27 then you shall say, ‘It is a Passover sacrifice to (AM)the Lord because He passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians, but [ab]spared our homes.’” (AN)And the people bowed low and worshiped.
28 Then the sons of Israel went and did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
29 Now it came about at (AO)midnight that (AP)the Lord struck all (AQ)the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of (AR)cattle. 30 And Pharaoh got up in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians, and there was (AS)a great cry in Egypt, for there was no home where there was not someone dead. 31 Then (AT)he called for Moses and Aaron at night and said, “Rise up, (AU)get out from among my people, both you and the sons of Israel; and go, [ac]worship the Lord, as you have said. 32 Take (AV)both your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and go, and bless me also.”
Exodus of Israel
33 (AW)The Egyptians urged the people, to send them out of the land in a hurry, for they said, “We will all be dead.” 34 So the people took (AX)their dough before it was leavened, with their kneading bowls bound up in the clothes on their shoulders.
35 (AY)Now the sons of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, for they had requested from the Egyptians articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing; 36 and the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have their request. Therefore they (AZ)plundered the Egyptians.
37 Now the (BA)sons of Israel journeyed from (BB)Rameses to Succoth, about (BC)six hundred thousand men on foot, aside from children. 38 A (BD)mixed multitude also went up with them, [ad]along with flocks and herds, a (BE)very large number of livestock. 39 And they baked the dough which they had brought out of Egypt into cakes of unleavened bread. For it had no yeast, since they were (BF)driven out of Egypt and could not delay, nor had they [ae]prepared any provisions for themselves.
40 Now the time [af]that the sons of Israel had lived in Egypt was (BG)430 years. 41 And at the end of 430 years, on (BH)this very day, (BI)all the [ag]multitudes of the Lord departed from the land of Egypt.
Ordinance of the Passover
42 (BJ)It is a night [ah]to be observed for the Lord, for having brought them out of the land of Egypt; this night is for the Lord, [ai]to be observed by all the sons of Israel throughout their generations.
43 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the ordinance of (BK)the Passover: no [aj](BL)foreigner is to eat it; 44 but as for every (BM)slave [ak]that someone has purchased with money, after you have circumcised him, then he may eat it. 45 (BN)A stranger or a hired worker shall not eat it. 46 It is to be eaten in a single house; you are not to bring any of the meat outside of the house, (BO)nor are you to break any bone of it. 47 (BP)All the congregation of Israel are to [al]celebrate this. 48 But (BQ)if a stranger resides with you and [am]celebrates the Passover to the Lord, all of his males are to be circumcised, and then he shall come near to [an]celebrate it; and he shall be like a native of the land. But no uncircumcised male may eat it. 49 [ao](BR)The same law shall [ap]apply to the native as to the stranger who resides among you.”
50 Then all the sons of Israel did so; they did just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron. 51 And on that very day (BS)the Lord brought the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt (BT)according to their [aq]multitudes.
