5 耶和華對摩西說：“你要對以色列人說：‘你們是硬著頸項的民；我若是霎時間與你們同行，我會把你們消滅的；所以，現在你們要把你們身上的裝飾脫下來，使我知道我要怎樣處置你們。’” 6 於是，以色列人離開何烈山以後，就把身上的裝飾脫下來。
會幕
7 摩西一向把會幕支搭在營外，離營遠些；摩西稱它為會幕。凡是尋求耶和華的，就出到營外的會幕那裡去。

5 耶和华对摩西说：“你去向以色列百姓宣布，‘你们这些顽固不化的人，我就是跟你们在一起待一刻，都恐怕会灭绝你们。现在你们要摘下自己身上的饰物，我再决定怎样处置你们。’” 6 因此，以色列百姓从何烈山开始就不再佩戴饰物了。
耶和华的会幕
7 摩西通常把帐幕支搭在营外离百姓较远的地方，摩西称帐幕为会幕。凡求问耶和华的，都会去那里。

5 For the Lord had said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites, ‘You are a stiff-necked people.(A) If I were to go with you even for a moment, I might destroy(B) you. Now take off your ornaments and I will decide what to do with you.’” 6 So the Israelites stripped off their ornaments at Mount Horeb.(C)
The Tent of Meeting
7 Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the “tent of meeting.”(D) Anyone inquiring(E) of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp.
