⁴要在壇兩側的金邊下面安兩個金環，使橫杠穿過金環，以便抬香壇。 ⁵要用皂莢木造橫杠，包上金。 ⁶要把香壇放在約櫃前幔子的外面，對著約櫃上的施恩座——就是我要跟你會面的地方。

New King James Version

⁴Two gold rings you shall make for it, under the molding on both its sides. You shall place them on its two sides, and they will be holders for the poles with which to bear it. ⁵You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold. ⁶And you shall put it before the ^(A)veil that is before the ark of the Testimony, before the ^(B)mercy seat that is over the Testimony, where I will meet with you.

⁴Make two gold rings^(A) for the altar below the molding—two on each of the opposite sides—to hold the poles used to carry it. ⁵Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.^(B) ⁶Put the altar in front of the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law—before the atonement cover^(C) that is over the tablets of the covenant law—where I will meet with you.
