The Table(A)

23 “Make a table(B) of acacia wood—two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high.[a] 24 Overlay it with pure gold and make a gold molding around it. 25 Also make around it a rim a handbreadth[b] wide and put a gold molding on the rim. 26 Make four gold rings for the table and fasten them to the four corners, where the four legs are. 27 The rings are to be close to the rim to hold the poles used in carrying the table. 28 Make the poles of acacia wood, overlay them with gold(C) and carry the table with them. 29 And make its plates and dishes of pure gold, as well as its pitchers and bowls for the pouring out of offerings.(D) 30 Put the bread of the Presence(E) on this table to be before me at all times.

The Lampstand(F)

31 “Make a lampstand(G) of pure gold. Hammer out its base and shaft, and make its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them. 32 Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand—three on one side and three on the other. 33 Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand. 34 And on the lampstand there are to be four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms. 35 One bud shall be under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair—six branches in all. 36 The buds and branches shall all be of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold.(H)

37 “Then make its seven lamps(I) and set them up on it so that they light the space in front of it. 38 Its wick trimmers and trays(J) are to be of pure gold. 39 A talent[c] of pure gold is to be used for the lampstand and all these accessories. 40 See that you make them according to the pattern(K) shown you on the mountain.

28 要 用 皂 莢 木 做 兩 根 杠 , 用 金 包 裹 , 以 便 抬 桌 子 。

29 要 做 桌 子 上 的 盤 子 、 調 羹 , 並 奠 酒 的 爵 和 瓶 ; 這 都 要 用 精 金 製 作 。

30 又 要 在 桌 子 上 , 在 我 面 前 , 常 擺 陳 設 餅 。

31 要 用 精 金 做 一 個 燈 臺 。 燈 臺 的 座 和 榦 與 杯 、 球 、 花 , 都 要 接 連 一 塊 錘 出 來 。

32 燈 臺 兩 旁 要 杈 出 六 個 枝 子 : 這 旁 三 個 , 那 旁 三 個 。

33 這 旁 每 枝 上 有 三 個 杯 , 形 狀 像 杏 花 , 有 球 , 有 花 ; 那 旁 每 枝 上 也 有 三 個 杯 , 形 狀 像 杏 花 , 有 球 , 有 花 。 從 燈 臺 杈 出 來 的 六 個 枝 子 都 是 如 此 。

34 燈 臺 上 有 四 個 杯 , 形 狀 像 杏 花 , 有 球 , 有 花 。

35 燈 臺 每 兩 個 枝 子 以 下 有 球 與 枝 子 接 連 一 塊 。 燈 臺 出 的 六 個 枝 子 都 是 如 此 。

36 球 和 枝 子 要 接 連 一 塊 , 都 是 一 塊 精 金 錘 出 來 的 。

37 要 做 燈 臺 的 七 個 燈 盞 。 祭 司 要 點 這 燈 , 使 燈 光 對 照 。

38 燈 臺 的 蠟 剪 和 蠟 花 盤 也 是 要 精 金 的 。

39 做 燈 臺 和 這 一 切 的 器 具 要 用 精 金 一 他 連 得 。

40 要 謹 慎 做 這 些 物 件 , 都 要 照 著 在 山 上 指 示 你 的 樣 式 。

24 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.

25 And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.

26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

27 Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.

28 And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.

29 And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

30 And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.

31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.

32 And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:

33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.

34 And in the candlesticks shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.

35 And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

36 Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.

37 And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.

38 And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.

39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.

40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

The Table for the Showbread(A)

23 (B)“You shall also make a table of acacia wood; two cubits shall be its length, a cubit its width, and a cubit and a half its height. 24 And you shall overlay it with pure gold, and make a molding of gold all around. 25 You shall make for it a frame of a handbreadth all around, and you shall make a gold molding for the frame all around. 26 And you shall make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings on the four corners that are at its four legs. 27 The rings shall be close to the frame, as holders for the poles to bear the table. 28 And you shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be carried with them. 29 You shall make (C)its dishes, its pans, its pitchers, and its bowls for pouring. You shall make them of pure gold. 30 And you shall set the (D)showbread on the table before Me always.

The Gold Lampstand(E)

31 (F)“You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of one piece. 32 And six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side. 33 (G)Three bowls shall be made like almond blossoms on one branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower, and three bowls made like almond blossoms on the other branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower—and so for the six branches that come out of the lampstand. 34 (H)On the lampstand itself four bowls shall be made like almond blossoms, each with its ornamental knob and flower. 35 And there shall be a knob under the first two branches of the same, a knob under the second two branches of the same, and a knob under the third two branches of the same, according to the six branches that extend from the lampstand. 36 Their knobs and their branches shall be of one piece; all of it shall be one hammered piece of pure gold. 37 You shall make seven lamps for it, and (I)they shall arrange its lamps so that they (J)give light in front of it. 38 And its wick-trimmers and their trays shall be of pure gold. 39 It shall be made of a talent of pure gold, with all these utensils. 40 And (K)see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain.
