12 耶和華對摩西說： 13 「你要吩咐以色列百姓務必守我的安息日，因為這是我與你們之間世世代代的記號，叫你們知道使你們聖潔的是我耶和華。 14 你們要守安息日，以它為聖日。凡不守這誡命的，必被處死。凡在這天工作的，必從民中被剷除。

12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 13 “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: (A)‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who (B)sanctifies[a] you. 14 (C)You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who [b]profanes it shall surely be put to death; for (D)whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.

12 Then the Lord said to Moses, 13 “Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths.(A) This will be a sign(B) between me and you for the generations to come,(C) so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.(D)
14 “‘Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death;(E) those who do any work on that day must be cut off from their people.
