Setting Apart the Priests
29 “(A)Now this is [a]what you shall do to them to set them apart as holy to minister as priests to Me: take one bull from the herd and two rams without blemish, 2 and (B)unleavened bread and unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers [b]spread with oil; you shall make them of fine wheat flour. 3 And you shall put them in one basket and bring them near in the basket along with the bull and the two rams. 4 Then (C)you shall bring Aaron and his sons near to the doorway of the tent of meeting and wash them with water. 5 And you shall take the garments, and put on Aaron the (D)tunic and (E)the robe of the ephod and (F)the ephod and (G)the [c]breastpiece, and gird him with the skillfully (H)woven band of the ephod; 6 and you shall set the (I)turban on his head and put (J)the holy crown on the turban. 7 Then you shall take (K)the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him. 8 And you shall bring his sons near and put (L)tunics on them. 9 You shall gird them with (M)sashes, Aaron and his sons, and bind [d]caps on them, and they shall have (N)the priesthood by a perpetual statute. So you shall [e](O)ordain Aaron and his sons.
Slaughtering the Offerings
10 “Then you shall bring the bull near before the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall (P)lay their hands on the head of the bull. 11 You shall slaughter the bull before Yahweh at the doorway of the tent of meeting. 12 You shall (Q)take some of the blood of the bull and put it on (R)the horns of the altar with your finger; and you shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar. 13 You shall (S)take all the fat that covers the entrails and the [f]lobe of the liver and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and you shall offer them up in smoke on the altar. 14 But (T)the flesh of the bull and its hide and its refuse, you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering.
15 “(U)You shall also take the one ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram; 16 and you shall slaughter the ram, and you shall take its blood and splash it around on the altar. 17 Then you shall cut the ram into its pieces, and wash its entrails and its legs, and put them [g]with its pieces and [h]its head. 18 You shall offer up in smoke the whole ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering to Yahweh: (V)it is a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to Yahweh.
19 “Then (W)you shall take the second ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram. 20 You shall slaughter the ram, and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s right ear and on the lobes of his sons’ right ears and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet, and splash the rest of the blood around on the altar. 21 Then you shall take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the (X)anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and on his garments and on his sons and on his sons’ garments with him; so he and his garments shall be set apart as holy, as well as his sons and his sons’ garments with him.
22 “You shall also take the fat from the ram and the fat tail and the fat that covers the entrails and the [i]lobe of the liver and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them and the right thigh (for it is a ram of [j]ordination), 23 and one cake of bread and (Y)one cake of bread mixed with oil and one wafer from the basket of unleavened bread which is set before Yahweh; 24 and you shall put [k]all these [l]in the [m]hands of Aaron and [n]in the [o]hands of his sons, and you shall wave them as a wave offering before Yahweh. 25 (Z)You shall take them from their hands and offer them up in smoke on the altar on the burnt offering for a soothing aroma before Yahweh; it is an offering by fire to Yahweh.
26 “Then you shall take (AA)the breast of Aaron’s ram of [p]ordination and wave it as a wave offering before Yahweh; and it shall be your portion. 27 You shall set apart as holy the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the [q]contribution offering which was waved and which was [r]raised up as a contribution from the ram of [s]ordination, from the one which was for Aaron and from the one which was for his sons. 28 It shall be for Aaron and his sons as a perpetual statute from the sons of Israel, for it is a [t]contribution offering; and it shall be a [u]contribution offering from the sons of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, even their [v]contribution offering to Yahweh.
29 “(AB)The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, [w]that in them they may be anointed and ordained. 30 For seven days the one of his sons who is priest in his stead shall put them on when he comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.
Yahweh Will Meet and Speak to Israel
31 “You shall take the ram of [x]ordination and (AC)boil its flesh in a holy place. 32 Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket, at the doorway of the tent of meeting. 33 Thus (AD)they shall eat [y]those things by which atonement was made [z]to ordain them, [aa]to set them apart as holy; but a [ab](AE)layman shall not eat them, because they are holy. 34 (AF)If any of the flesh of [ac]ordination or any of the bread remains until morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire; it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
35 “Thus you shall do to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you; you shall [ad]ordain them through (AG)seven days. 36 (AH)Each day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement, and you shall [ae]purify the altar when you make atonement [af]for it, and (AI)you shall anoint it to set it apart as holy. 37 For seven days you shall make atonement [ag]for the altar and set it apart as holy; then (AJ)the altar shall be most holy, and whatever touches the altar shall be holy.
38 “Now (AK)this is what you shall offer on the altar: two one year old lambs each day, continuously. 39 The (AL)one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the second lamb you shall offer [ah]at twilight; 40 and there shall be [ai]one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-fourth of a [aj]hin of beaten oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering with the one lamb. 41 The second lamb you shall offer [ak]at twilight, and you shall offer with it [al]the same grain offering and [am]the same drink offering as in the morning, for a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to Yahweh. 42 It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before Yahweh, (AM)where I will meet with you, to speak to you there. 43 I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be set apart as holy by My glory. 44 I will set the tent of meeting and the altar apart as holy; I will also set Aaron and his sons apart as holy to minister as priests to Me. 45 (AN)I will dwell among the sons of Israel and will be their God. 46 They shall know that (AO)I am Yahweh their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them; I am Yahweh their God.

A cerimônia de consagração
29 —Isto é o que deve fazer para a consagração de Aarão e dos seus filhos como sacerdotes: coloque de lado um bezerro e dois carneiros que não tenham nenhum defeito. 2 Com a melhor farinha de trigo, sem fermento, faça pão e bolos amassados com azeite, e pães finos, untados com azeite. 3 Coloque-os num cesto e ofereça-os a mim, ofereça também o bezerro e os dois carneiros.
4 —Depois leve Aarão e os seus filhos diante da entrada da Tenda do Encontro e lave-os com água. 5 Vista Aarão com a roupa sacerdotal: a túnica bordada, o manto azul, o éfode e o peitoral. Prenda o éfode com o cinto decorado. 6 Coloque o turbante na cabeça dele e sobre o turbante coloque a lâmina de ouro que o consagra como sacerdote. 7 E, derramando o azeite de consagração sobre a sua cabeça, consagre-o ao meu serviço.
8 —Depois traga os filhos de Aarão e vista as túnicas neles. 9 Ponha os cintos em Aarão e nos seus filhos e coloque os turbantes neles, assim o sacerdócio lhes pertencerá para sempre, por lei. Deste modo você deverá consagrar Aarão e os seus filhos.
10 —Leve o bezerro para a frente da Tenda do Encontro e diga a Aarão e aos seus filhos para empurrarem para baixo com as mãos a cabeça do bezerro. 11 Depois na entrada da Tenda do Encontro, mate o bezerro diante do SENHOR. 12 Molhando o dedo no sangue do bezerro, você ungirá os chifres, isto é, as pontas do altar. Derrame o resto do sangue na base do altar. 13 Depois tire toda a gordura que cobre os intestinos, a parte gorda do fígado e dos rins e a gordura que os envolve, e queime toda a gordura no altar. 14 Mas queime a carne, a pele e os intestinos do bezerro fora do acampamento. É um sacrifício de purificação.
15 —Diga a Aarão e aos seus filhos que empurrem para baixo com as suas mãos a cabeça de um dos carneiros. 16 Depois mate o carneiro e espalhe o seu sangue em volta do altar. 17 Corte o carneiro em pedaços. Lave os intestinos e as pernas e junte tudo aos pedaços e à cabeça. 18 Queime todo o carneiro no altar como um sacrifício completamente queimado em honra do SENHOR. É uma oferta de aroma agradável ao SENHOR.
19 —Depois disso diga a Aarão e aos seus filhos que empurrem para baixo com as suas mãos a cabeça do outro carneiro. 20 Mate esse carneiro e coloque um pouco do seu sangue na ponta da orelha direita, no polegar da mão direita e no polegar do pé direito de Aarão e dos seus filhos. Depois, derrame o resto do sangue por todo o altar. 21 Espalhe sobre Aarão, os seus filhos e as suas roupas, o sangue e o azeite da consagração que restou. Assim ficarão consagrados Aarão, os seus filhos e as suas roupas.
22 —Depois tire a gordura do carneiro: a gordura da cauda, a gordura que cobre os intestinos, a parte inferior do fígado, a gordura dos dois rins, e a coxa direita. Este será o carneiro para a consagração de Aarão como sacerdote. 23 Tire, do cesto que está diante do SENHOR, um bolo feito com azeite e um pão fino. 24 Coloque tudo nas mãos de Aarão e dos seus filhos para que façam o movimento de apresentação, oferecendo-os ao SENHOR. 25 Depois retire tudo das suas mãos e queime tudo sobre o altar, juntamente com o cordeiro. É o sacrifício que deve ser completamente queimado em honra do SENHOR. É uma oferta de aroma agradável ao SENHOR.
26 —Para a consagração de Aarão, tome o peito do cordeiro e, com o movimento de apresentação, apresente-o diante do SENHOR. Essa é a sua parte. 27 O peito e a coxa do carneiro da consagração de Aarão, que foram movidos diante do SENHOR, serão consagrados a Aarão e aos seus filhos. Essas partes serão sempre de Aarão e seus filhos. 28 São contribuições que os israelitas darão a Aarão e aos seus filhos. Sempre que os israelitas fizerem uma oferta ao Senhor, essas partes pertencerão aos sacerdotes. Oferecer essas partes aos sacerdotes é o mesmo que oferecê-las a mim.
29 —As roupas sagradas de Aarão passarão para os seus descendentes. Eles vestirão essas roupas quando forem consagrados como sacerdotes. 30 O filho que suceder a Aarão usará as roupas sagradas durante sete dias, sempre que entrar na Tenda do Encontro para exercer as funções de sacerdote no Lugar Santo.
31 —Pegue na carne do carneiro da consagração e cozinhe-a num lugar santo. 32 Aarão e os seus filhos comerão a carne do carneiro e o pão que está no cesto diante da entrada da Tenda do Encontro. 33 Eles comerão essas ofertas porque foram oferecidas para perdão dos seus pecados quando foram consagrados como sacerdotes. Mais ninguém poderá comer dessas coisas porque são sagradas. 34 Se sobrar um pouco de carne ou de pão até ao outro dia, será queimado. Não deve ser comido porque é sagrado.
35 —Faça com que Aarão e os seus filhos façam exatamente como disse para você. A cerimônia de consagração deverá durar sete dias. 36 Todos os dias ofereça um bezerro em sacrifício pelos pecados de Aarão e dos seus filhos. Ofertas diárias
38 —Todos os dias deverão ser oferecidos dois cordeiros de um ano sobre o altar. 39 Ofereça um cordeiro pela manhã e outro ao entardecer. 40 Quando você sacrificar o primeiro cordeiro, ofereça também dois quilos de farinha da melhor qualidade misturada com um litro de azeite de oliveira e um litro de vinho como oferta derramada. 41 Ao entardecer, quando você sacrificar o segundo cordeiro, ofereça-o com uma oferta de cereal e de vinho, como de manhã. É uma oferta de comida de aroma agradável ao SENHOR.
42 —Todos os dias, por todas as gerações, diante da entrada da Tenda de Encontro, esses sacrifícios queimados deverão ser oferecidos ao SENHOR. É nesse lugar que eu me encontrarei e falarei com vocês. 43 Eu me encontrarei ali com o povo de Israel e a minha glória tornará esse lugar sagrado.
44 —Assim consagrarei a Tenda do Encontro e o altar, e consagrarei Aarão e os seus filhos para me servirem como sacerdotes. 45 Habitarei no meio do povo de Israel e serei o seu Deus. 46 O povo saberá que eu sou o SENHOR, o Deus que os tirou do Egito, para habitar no meio deles. Eu sou o SENHOR, seu Deus.
