24 耶和華對摩西說：「你和亞倫、拿答、亞比戶，並以色列長老中的七十人，都要上到我這裡來，遠遠地下拜。 2 唯獨你可以親近耶和華，他們卻不可親近，百姓也不可和你一同上來。」 3 摩西下山，將耶和華的命令、典章都述說於百姓聽，眾百姓齊聲說：「耶和華所吩咐的，我們都必遵行。」 4 摩西將耶和華的命令都寫上。清早起來，在山下築一座壇，按以色列十二支派立十二根柱子， 5 又打發以色列人中的少年人去獻燔祭，又向耶和華獻牛為平安祭。 6 摩西將血一半盛在盆中，一半灑在壇上。 7 又將約書念給百姓聽，他們說：「耶和華所吩咐的，我們都必遵行。」 8 摩西將血灑在百姓身上，說：「你看，這是立約的血，是耶和華按這一切話與你們立約的憑據。」

24 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the Lord, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.
2 And Moses alone shall come near the Lord: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.
3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the Lord hath said will we do.
4 And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the Lord.
6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.
8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.
9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
11 And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
12 And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
13 And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.
14 And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
15 And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
16 And the glory of the Lord abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
17 And the sight of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.
18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

3 Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and (D)all the rules.[a] And all the people answered with one voice and said, (E)“All the words that the Lord has spoken we will do.” 4 And (F)Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord. He rose early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve (G)pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 And he sent young men of the people of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord. 6 And (H)Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he threw against the altar. 7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And behold, Aaron and (T)Hur are with you. Whoever has a dispute, let him go to them.”
15 Then Moses went up on the mountain, and (U)the cloud covered the mountain. 16 (V)The glory of the Lord dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 Now the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a (W)devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel. 18 Moses entered the cloud and went up on the mountain. 14 and said to the elders, “Wait here for us until we return. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever has any matters, let him come to them.
15 Then, Moses went up to the mount; and the cloud covered the mountain.
16 And the Glory of the LORD remained upon Mount Sinai; and the cloud covered it for six days. And the seventh day, He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
17 And the sight of the Glory of the LORD on the top of the mountain was like a consuming fire in the eyes of the children of Israel.
18 And Moses entered into the midst of the cloud and went up to the mountain. And Moses was on the mount for forty days and forty nights.
