公義與憐憫
23 「不可散佈謠言，也不可與惡人一起作偽證陷害別人。 2 不可隨眾行惡。在法庭作證時不可附和多數人，顛倒是非。 3 在訴訟的事上不可偏袒窮人。
4 「倘若看見仇人的牛或驢走迷了路，總要牽回去交給他。 5 倘若遇見仇人的驢被馱的重物壓倒，不可逕自走開，總要幫助仇人抬開重物。
6 「不可在訴訟案中冤枉窮人。 7 不可誣告別人，不可殺害正直無辜的人，因為我必懲罰作惡之人。 8 不可收受賄賂，因為賄賂蒙蔽人的眼目，使人顛倒是非。 9 不可欺凌在你們中間寄居的人，因為你們也曾經在埃及寄居，知道身在異鄉的滋味。
安息年和安息日
10 「六年之內你要耕種收割， 11 第七年要讓土地休息，不耕不種，你們當中的窮人可以吃田中長出來的，剩下的可以留給動物吃。你也要這樣耕作葡萄園和橄欖園。 12 六天之內，你要工作，但第七天要休息。這樣，牛、驢可以歇息，你家裡的奴僕和寄居的也可以休息。 13 你們要謹慎遵從我對你們說的話。不可提其他神明的名字，不可從你口中聽到它們的名字。
三大節期
14 「你每年要向我守三個節期。 15 要守除酵節，照我的吩咐在每年亞筆月所定的日期連續吃七天的無酵餅，因為你是在這個月離開了埃及。誰也不可空手來朝拜我。 16 要在耕種後、收取初熟之物的時候守收割節。要在年終從田間收取勞動成果時守收藏節。 17 以色列所有的男子都要在這三個節期上來朝見主耶和華。
18 「不可把祭牲的血和有酵的餅一起獻給我，也不可把祭牲的脂肪留到第二天早晨。 19 要把田中最好的初熟之物送到你們的上帝耶和華的殿中。不可用母山羊的奶煮牠的小羊羔。
應許賜迦南
20 「看啊，我要差遣天使走在你前面，在路上保護你，帶領你平安地到達我為你預備的地方。 21 他是奉我的名來的，你們要謹遵他的話，不可悖逆，不然他必不赦免你們的過犯。
22 「你若認真聽從他的吩咐，遵行我的話，我就與你的仇敵為敵，與你的對頭作對。 23 我的天使要走在你前面，帶領你去亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、迦南人、希未人和耶布斯人所住的地方，我會把他們全部消滅。 24 不可叩拜他們的神明，不可供奉它們，也不可效法他們的行為，要徹底拆毀神像，打碎他們的神柱。 25 你們要事奉你們的上帝耶和華，我必賜給你日用的飲食，使你們身體健康，不受疾病的侵害， 26 在你境內必沒有人流產或不育，我會使你壽終正寢。 27 你所到之處，我必使那裡的人惶恐不安，使你一切的仇敵都在你面前轉身逃跑。 28 我要派黃蜂做你的先鋒，趕走那些希未人、迦南人和赫人。 29 我不會在一年之內把這些人全部趕走，免得土地荒涼，野獸肆虐。 30 我會逐漸地趕走他們，直到你們人丁興旺，可以佔據那片土地。 31 我給你定下國界，從紅海到非利士海岸，從曠野到幼發拉底河。我要把其中所有的人都交在你手中，你要把他們全部趕出去。 32 不可跟這些民族及其神明立約， 33 也不可讓這些民族住在你的土地上，免得他們使你得罪我，你若供奉他們的神明，必因此而陷入網羅。」

2 Pa konprann pou nou fè sa ki mal paske nou wè se sa tout moun ap fè. Lè n'ap sèvi temwen nan yon pwose, piga nou pran pati pou bò ki gen plis moun lan lè nou konnen se yo ki antò.
3 Konsa tou, lè gen pwose, se pa paske yon moun pòv pou nou pran pati pou li.
4 Si nou pa byen ak yon moun, epi nou jwenn bèf li osinon bourik li ki kase kòd, se pou nou mennen l' ba li.
5 Si nou pa byen ak yon moun, epi nou wè bourik li kouche anba yon chay, pa vire do nou kite l' pou kont li. Se pou nou ede l' fè bourik la kanpe.
6 Lè yon malere nan pwose, pa anpeche yo fè l' jistis.
7 Evite fè manti sou moun pou akize yo. Moun inonsan ak moun ki nan dwa yo, piga nou fè touye yo, paske mwen p'ap padonnen moun ki fè bagay konsa.
8 Lè n'ap sèvi temwen nan yon kòz, pa pran lajan anba nan men moun, paske lajan konsa bouche je nou, li fè nou pa wè kote jistis la ye. Li fè moun ki pa antò a pèdi kòz li.
9 Piga nou aji mal ak moun lòt nasyon k'ap viv nan peyi a. Paske, nou menm tou, yon lè, nou te etranje nan peyi Lejip, kifè nou konnen sa ki rele viv nan lòt peyi.
10 ¶ Pandan sizan n'a travay tè a, epi n'a ranmase sa li bay.
11 Men, sou setyèm lanne a, n'a kite tè a poze. Menm si li bay kichòy, nou p'ap ranmase anyen sou li. N'a kite rekòt la pou pòv malere yo. Rès la va rete pou bèt nan bwa manje. N'a fè menm bagay la tou pou jaden rezen ak jaden oliv nou yo.
12 N'a travay sis jou. Men setyèm jou a, n'a sispann travay, n'a pran repo. Konsa, bèf nou yo ak bourik nou yo, moun k'ap sèvi avèk nou yo ansanm ak etranje ki lakay nou yo va ka pran repo tou.
13 Se pou nou swiv tou sa mwen sot di nou la a. Pa lapriyè lòt bondye, piga mwen tande non yo soti nan bouch nou.
14 Twa fwa chak lanne, n'a fè fèt pou mwen.
15 N'a fè fèt Pen san ledven yo. Jan mwen te ban nou lòd la, n'a manje pen san ledven pandan sèt jou nan epòk yo fikse nan mwa Abib la. Paske se nan mwa sa a nou te soti kite peyi Lejip. Lè sa a, nou p'ap gen dwa parèt devan m' de men vid.
16 Apre sa, n'a fete fèt Premye Rekòt la lè nou fèk konmanse rekòlte grenn nou simen nan jaden nou yo. N'a fete fèt Dènye Rekòt la menm vè fen lanne a, lè n'ap fin rekòlte tou sa ki nan jaden nou yo.
17 Twa fwa chak lanne, tout gason nan pèp la va parèt devan mwen menm Seyè a, Bondye a.
18 Lè n'ap touye yon bèt pou mwen, piga nou ofri san an ansanm ak pen ki fèt ak ledven. Piga nou sere grès bèt la tout lannwit jouk denmen maten.
19 N'a pran pi bèl fwi nan premye rekòt jaden nou, n'a pote yo bay Seyè a, Bondye nou an, lakay li, Piga ou kwit yon ti kabrit nan lèt manman li.
20 ¶ Men m'ap voye yonn nan zanj mwen yo devan nou pou pwoteje nou sou wout la, pou l' fè nou rive san danje kote mwen pare pou nou an.
21 Veye kò nou devan li. Koute sa l'ap di nou. Pa kenbe tèt avè l'. Si nou fè sa, li p'ap padonnen nou sa paske se nan non mwen l'ap fè tou sa l'ap fè a.
22 Men, si nou koute sa li di nou, si nou fè tou sa mwen di nou fè, m'ap rayi moun ki rayi nou, mwen p'ap vle wè moun ki pa vle wè nou.
23 Zanj mwen an va mache devan nou, l'ap mennen nou nan peyi moun Amori yo, peyi moun Et yo, peyi moun Ferezi yo, peyi moun Kanaran yo, peyi moun Evi yo ak peyi moun Jebis yo. M'ap detwi yo tout.
24 Piga nou mete ajenou devan bondye lòt nasyon yo. Piga nou janm sèvi yo. Pa fè menm jan ak moun lòt nasyon yo. Se pou nou detwi bondye yo nèt, se pou nou kraze tout moniman yo fè pou yo.

32 Piga nou pase ankenn kontra ak moun sa yo, ni ak bondye yo.

Laws of Justice and Mercy
23 “Do not spread false reports.(A) Do not help a guilty person by being a malicious witness.(B)
2 “Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice(C) by siding with the crowd,(D) 3 and do not show favoritism(E) to a poor person in a lawsuit.
4 “If you come across your enemy’s(F) ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to return it.(G) 5 If you see the donkey(H) of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help them with it.
6 “Do not deny justice(I) to your poor people in their lawsuits. 7 Have nothing to do with a false charge(J) and do not put an innocent(K) or honest person to death,(L) for I will not acquit the guilty.(M)
8 “Do not accept a bribe,(N) for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the innocent.
9 “Do not oppress a foreigner;(O) you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt.
Sabbath Laws
10 “For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops, 11 but during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused.(P) Then the poor among your people may get food from it, and the wild animals may eat what is left. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.
12 “Six days do your work,(Q) but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and so that the slave born in your household and the foreigner living among you may be refreshed.(R)
13 “Be careful(S) to do everything I have said to you. Do not invoke the names of other gods;(T) do not let them be heard on your lips.(U)
The Three Annual Festivals
14 “Three times(V) a year you are to celebrate a festival to me.
15 “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread;(W) for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv,(X) for in that month you came out of Egypt.
“No one is to appear before me empty-handed.(Y)
16 “Celebrate the Festival of Harvest(Z) with the firstfruits(AA) of the crops you sow in your field.
“Celebrate the Festival of Ingathering(AB) at the end of the year, when you gather in your crops from the field.(AC)
17 “Three times(AD) a year all the men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord.
18 “Do not offer the blood of a sacrifice to me along with anything containing yeast.(AE)
“The fat of my festival offerings must not be kept until morning.(AF)
19 “Bring the best of the firstfruits(AG) of your soil to the house of the Lord your God.
“Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.(AH)
God’s Angel to Prepare the Way
20 “See, I am sending an angel(AI) ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.(AJ) 21 Pay attention to him and listen(AK) to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive(AL) your rebellion,(AM) since my Name(AN) is in him. 22 If you listen carefully to what he says and do(AO) all that I say, I will be an enemy(AP) to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you. 23 My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites,(AQ) and I will wipe them out. 24 Do not bow down before their gods or worship(AR) them or follow their practices.(AS) You must demolish(AT) them and break their sacred stones(AU) to pieces. 25 Worship the Lord your God,(AV) and his blessing(AW) will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness(AX) from among you, 26 and none will miscarry or be barren(AY) in your land. I will give you a full life span.(AZ)
27 “I will send my terror(BA) ahead of you and throw into confusion(BB) every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.(BC) 28 I will send the hornet(BD) ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites(BE) out of your way. 29 But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals(BF) too numerous for you. 30 Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession(BG) of the land.
31 “I will establish your borders from the Red Sea[a] to the Mediterranean Sea,[b] and from the desert to the Euphrates River.(BH) I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out(BI) before you. 32 Do not make a covenant(BJ) with them or with their gods. 33 Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare(BK) to you.”

23 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
3 Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
4 If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
5 If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
6 Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
8 And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
9 Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
10 And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:

17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord God.
18 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
19 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
23 For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
27 I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
28 And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
29 I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
31 And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
33 They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

Leyes de justicia y de misericordia
23 »No acepten falsos rumores.
»No cooperen con el malvado apoyando su testimonio, cuando sepan que es falso.
2-3 »No sigan a las mayorías que intenten hacer mal. Cuando estén en el estrado de los testigos, no inclinen sus testimonios a favor de la mayoría presente ni hacia el pobre, por el simple hecho de ser pobre.
4 »Si encuentran el buey o el burro extraviado de su enemigo, llévenselo a su dueño. 5 Si ven que su enemigo trata de levantar su burro que ha caído bajo una pesada carga, deberán detenerse a ayudarle.
6 »La pobreza del hombre no es razón para torcer la justicia en su contra.
7 »Aléjense de todo intento de acusar a alguien falsamente. No permitan que un inocente sea condenado a muerte. Esto yo no lo toleraré.
8 »No acepten soborno, porque los inclina hacia la parcialidad y daña la causa del inocente.
9 »No oprimirán al extranjero, porque ustedes saben lo que es ser extranjero. Recuerden su experiencia en Egipto.
Leyes sabáticas
10 »Sembrarán y cosecharán durante seis años, 11 pero la tierra descansará durante el séptimo año, y los pobres del pueblo podrán espigar lo que salga espontáneamente; el resto lo dejarán para que coman los animales. Esta misma regla se aplica a sus viñedos y olivares.
12 »Trabajarán seis días solamente y descansarán el séptimo. Esto es para dar descanso a su buey y su asno, a sus esclavos y al extranjero que viva con ustedes.
13 »Obedezcan todas estas cosas, y recuerden que no deben ni siquiera mencionar el nombre de otro dios.
Las tres fiestas anuales
14 »Deberán celebrar tres fiestas religiosas en el año. 15 La primera es la de los Panes sin levadura. Durante siete días no comerán pan con levadura, conforme a lo que les he ordenado. Esta celebración será anual. La celebrarán en el mes de aviv, que fue el mes en que salieron de Egipto. Cada uno deberá ofrecerme algún sacrificio en esa fecha.
16 »También celebrarán la fiesta de las Primicias, en la que me ofrecerán las primicias de la cosecha. Y finalmente, la fiesta de la Cosecha, cuando termine el trabajo de recolección de la cosecha.
17 »Cada año, en estas tres fiestas, todo varón de Israel se presentará delante del Señor.
18 »Ningún sacrificio de sangre será ofrecido con panes con levadura; no se dejará la grasa del animal sacrificado para ofrecerla al día siguiente.
19 »Llevarán a la casa del Señor los primeros y mejores frutos de sus campos.
»No cocerán el cabrito en la leche de su madre.
El ángel del Señor
20 »Miren, estoy enviando un ángel delante de ustedes, para que lleguen con seguridad a la tierra que les he preparado. 21 Muéstrenle reverencia y obedezcan todas sus órdenes. No se rebelen contra él, porque él actúa en mi nombre, y no les perdonará sus faltas. 22 Si le obedecen cuidadosamente y siguen todas sus instrucciones, yo seré enemigo de sus enemigos. 23 Y mi ángel irá delante de ustedes y los conducirá a la tierra de los amorreos, de los ferezeos, de los hititas, de los cananeos, de los heveos y de los jebuseos, para que vivan en ella. Yo destruiré estos pueblos delante de ustedes.
24 »No adorarán dioses de otras naciones ni les ofrecerán sacrificios; no deben imitar el ejemplo de esos pueblos paganos. Deben vencerlos completamente y destrozar todos sus ídolos vergonzosos.
25 »Servirán al Señor su Dios solamente, y yo los bendeciré con alimentos y agua, y apartaré toda enfermedad de entre ustedes. 26 No habrá abortos ni esterilidad en su tierra, y vivirán a plenitud todos los días de su vida.
27 »El pánico del Señor caerá sobre las naciones que ustedes invadan, de modo que sus habitantes huirán delante de ustedes.
28 »Enviaré delante de ustedes avispas que expulsen a los heveos, cananeos e hititas. 29 No lo haré todo en un solo año, porque la tierra se convertiría en un desierto y los animales salvajes se multiplicarían, de manera que no se podrían dominar. 30 Los expulsaré poco a poco, hasta que la población de ustedes haya crecido lo suficiente como para llenar la tierra. 31 Los límites que les pondré serán desde el Mar Rojo hasta la costa de los filisteos, y desde el desierto hasta el río Éufrates. Haré que ustedes venzan a los pueblos que hoy viven en esa tierra, y los expulsen de la región.
32 »No deberán hacer pacto con ellos, ni tendrán parte alguna con sus dioses. 33 No dejen que vivan entre ustedes, porque yo sé que ellos los contaminarán con su pecado de adorar a dioses falsos, y eso sería la ruina de ustedes».
