¹¹我現在知道，耶和華比一切神明都偉大，因為祂懲治了虐待這些百姓的狂妄之徒。」

¹²摩西的岳父葉忒羅說完，便向上帝獻燔祭及其他祭物。亞倫和以色列的長老都來與他一起在上帝面前吃飯。

¹³第二天，摩西坐著審理百姓的糾紛，百姓從早到晚都站在摩西周圍。

Exodus 18:11-13

King James Version

¹¹Now I know that the Lord is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.

¹²And Jethro, Moses' father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father in law before God.

¹³And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

Exodus 18:11-13

New International Version

¹¹Now I know that the Lord is greater than all other gods,^(A) for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly.”^(B) ¹²Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law,^(C) brought a burnt offering^(D) and other sacrifices^(E) to God, and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat a meal^(F) with Moses’ father-in-law in the presence^(G) of God.
