11 Now I know that the Lord is (A)greater than all the gods; (B)for in the very thing in which they [a]behaved (C)proudly, He was above them.” 12 Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, [b]took a burnt (D)offering and other sacrifices to offer to God. And Aaron came with all the elders of Israel (E)to eat bread with Moses’ father-in-law before God.
13 And so it was, on the next day, that Moses (F)sat to judge the people; and the people stood before Moses from morning until evening.

11 Now I know that (A)the Lord is greater than all gods, because in this affair they (B)dealt arrogantly with the people.”[a] 12 And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, brought a burnt offering and sacrifices to God; and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law (C)before God.
13 The next day Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood around Moses from morning till evening.

Common English Bible
11 Now I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods, because of what happened when the Egyptians plotted against them.” 12 Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, brought an entirely burned offering and sacrifices to God. Aaron came with all of Israel’s elders to eat a meal with Moses’ father-in-law in God’s presence.
13 The next day Moses sat as a judge for the people, while the people stood around Moses from morning until evening.
