8 耶和華使埃及王法老的心剛硬，他就追趕以色列人，因為以色列人是昂然無懼地出埃及。 9 埃及人追趕他們，法老一切的馬匹、車輛、馬兵與軍兵就在海邊上，靠近比哈希錄，對著巴力洗分，在他們安營的地方追上了。
10 法老臨近的時候，以色列人舉目看見埃及人趕來，就甚懼怕，向耶和華哀求。

8 耶和华使法老的心刚硬，法老就追赶毫无惧色地离开埃及的以色列人。 9 埃及大军的战车骑兵倾巢而出，沿着海边追赶，在巴力·洗分对面的比·哈希录附近追上了正在那里安营的以色列人。
10 以色列人看见法老大军追了上来，非常害怕，便呼求耶和华。

8 The Lord hardened the heart(A) of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out boldly.(B) 9 The Egyptians—all Pharaoh’s horses(C) and chariots, horsemen[a] and troops(D)—pursued the Israelites and overtook(E) them as they camped by the sea near Pi Hahiroth, opposite Baal Zephon.(F)
10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried(G) out to the Lord.
