1 以色列的众子带着家眷跟雅各^[a]一起去了埃及，以下是他们的名字： ²吕便、西缅、利未、犹大、 ³以萨迦、西布伦、便雅悯、 ⁴但、拿弗他利、迦得、亚设。 ⁵雅各的子孙总共有七十人。那时，约瑟已经住在埃及。 ⁶后来，约瑟和他的弟兄以及同辈的人都相继去世。

1 Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob.

²Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah,

³Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,

⁴Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

⁵And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.

⁶And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
