New King James Version
27 (A)But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, (B)and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. 28 So (C)he was with them at Jerusalem, coming in and going out. 29 And he spoke boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus and disputed against the (D)Hellenists,[a] (E)but they attempted to kill him.

New International Version
27 But Barnabas(A) took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him,(B) and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus.(C) 28 So Saul stayed with them and moved about freely in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord. 29 He talked and debated with the Hellenistic Jews,[a](D) but they tried to kill him.(E)
