9 掃 羅 仍 然 向 主 的 門 徒 口 吐 威 嚇 兇 殺 的 話 ， 去 見 大 祭 司 ，
2 求 文 書 給 大 馬 色 的 各 會 堂 ， 若 是 找 著 信 奉 這 道 的 人 ， 無 論 男 女 ， 都 准 他 捆 綁 帶 到 耶 路 撒 冷 。
3 掃 羅 行 路 ， 將 到 大 馬 色 ， 忽 然 從 天 上 發 光 ， 四 面 照 著 他 ；
4 他 就 仆 倒 在 地 ， 聽 見 有 聲 音 對 他 說 ： 掃 羅 ！ 掃 羅 ！ 你 為 甚 麼 逼 迫 我 ？
5 他 說 ： 主 阿 ！ 你 是 誰 ？ 主 說 ： 我 就 是 你 所 逼 迫 的 耶 穌 。
6 起 來 ！ 進 城 去 ， 你 所 當 做 的 事 ， 必 有 人 告 訴 你 。
7 同 行 的 人 站 在 那 裡 ， 說 不 出 話 來 ， 聽 見 聲 音 ， 卻 看 不 見 人 。
8 掃 羅 從 地 上 起 來 ， 睜 開 眼 睛 ， 竟 不 能 看 見 甚 麼 。 有 人 拉 他 的 手 ， 領 他 進 了 大 馬 色 ；
9 三 日 不 能 看 見 ， 也 不 吃 也 不 喝 。
10 當 下 ， 在 大 馬 色 有 一 個 門 徒 ， 名 叫 亞 拿 尼 亞 。 主 在 異 象 中 對 他 說 ： 亞 拿 尼 亞 。 他 說 ： 主 ， 我 在 這 裡 。
11 主 對 他 說 ： 起 來 ！ 往 直 街 去 ， 在 猶 大 的 家 裡 ， 訪 問 一 個 大 數 人 ， 名 叫 掃 羅 。 他 正 禱 告 ，
12 又 看 見 了 一 個 人 ， 名 叫 亞 拿 尼 亞 ， 進 來 按 手 在 他 身 上 ， 叫 他 能 看 見 。
13 亞 拿 尼 亞 回 答 說 ： 主 阿 ， 我 聽 見 許 多 人 說 ： 這 人 怎 樣 在 耶 路 撒 冷 多 多 苦 害 你 的 聖 徒 ，
14 並 且 他 在 這 裡 有 從 祭 司 長 得 來 的 權 柄 捆 綁 一 切 求 告 你 名 的 人 。
15 主 對 亞 拿 尼 亞 說 ： 你 只 管 去 ！ 他 是 我 所 揀 選 的 器 皿 ， 要 在 外 邦 人 和 君 王 ， 並 以 色 列 人 面 前 宣 揚 我 的 名 。
16 我 也 要 指 示 他 ， 為 我 的 名 必 須 受 許 多 的 苦 難 。
17 亞 拿 尼 亞 就 去 了 ， 進 入 那 家 ， 把 手 按 在 掃 羅 身 上 ， 說 ： 兄 弟 掃 羅 ， 在 你 來 的 路 上 向 你 顯 現 的 主 ， 就 是 耶 穌 ， 打 發 我 來 ， 叫 你 能 看 見 ， 又 被 聖 靈 充 滿 。
18 掃 羅 的 眼 睛 上 ， 好 像 有 鱗 立 刻 掉 下 來 ， 他 就 能 看 見 。 於 是 起 來 受 了 洗 ；
19 吃 過 飯 就 健 壯 了 。 掃 羅 和 大 馬 色 的 門 徒 同 住 了 些 日 子 ，
20 就 在 各 會 堂 裡 宣 傳 耶 穌 ， 說 他 是 神 的 兒 子 。
21 凡 聽 見 的 人 都 驚 奇 ， 說 ： 在 耶 路 撒 冷 殘 害 求 告 這 名 的 ， 不 是 這 人 麼 ？ 並 且 他 到 這 裡 來 ， 特 要 捆 綁 他 們 ， 帶 到 祭 司 長 那 裡 。
22 但 掃 羅 越 發 有 能 力 ， 駁 倒 住 大 馬 色 的 猶 太 人 ， 證 明 耶 穌 是 基 督 。
23 過 了 好 些 日 子 ， 猶 太 人 商 議 要 殺 掃 羅 ，
24 但 他 們 的 計 謀 被 掃 羅 知 道 了 。 他 們 又 晝 夜 在 城 門 守 候 ， 要 殺 他 。
25 他 的 門 徒 就 在 夜 間 用 筐 子 把 他 從 城 牆 上 縋 下 去 。
26 掃 羅 到 了 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 想 與 門 徒 結 交 ， 他 們 卻 都 怕 他 ， 不 信 他 是 門 徒 。
27 惟 有 巴 拿 巴 接 待 他 ， 領 去 見 使 徒 ， 把 他 在 路 上 怎 麼 看 見 主 ， 主 怎 麼 向 他 說 話 ， 他 在 大 馬 色 怎 麼 奉 耶 穌 的 名 放 膽 傳 道 ， 都 述 說 出 來 。
28 於 是 掃 羅 在 耶 路 撒 冷 和 門 徒 出 入 來 往 ，
29 奉 主 的 名 放 膽 傳 道 ， 並 與 說 希 利 尼 話 的 猶 太 人 講 論 辯 駁 ； 他 們 卻 想 法 子 要 殺 他 。
30 弟 兄 們 知 道 了 就 送 他 下 該 撒 利 亞 ， 打 發 他 往 大 數 去 。
31 那 時 ， 猶 太 加 利 利 、 撒 瑪 利 亞 各 處 的 教 會 都 得 平 安 ， 被 建 立 ； 凡 事 敬 畏 主 ， 蒙 聖 靈 的 安 慰 ， 人 數 就 增 多 了 。
32 彼 得 周 流 四 方 的 時 候 ， 也 到 了 居 住 呂 大 的 聖 徒 那 裡 ；

35 凡 住 呂 大 和 沙 崙 的 人 都 看 見 了 他 ， 就 歸 服 主 。
36 在 約 帕 有 一 個 女 徒 ， 名 叫 大 比 大 ， 繙 希 利 尼 話 就 是 多 加 （ 就 是 羚 羊 的 意 思 ） ； 他 廣 行 善 事 ， 多 施 賙 濟 。
37 當 時 ， 他 患 病 而 死 ， 有 人 把 他 洗 了 ， 停 在 樓 上 。

掃羅歸主
9 掃羅繼續用兇狠的話恐嚇主的門徒。他去見大祭司， 2 要取得授權書到大馬士革的各會堂搜捕信耶穌的人，無論男女，都要把他們押回耶路撒冷。
3 當他快到大馬士革的時候，突然有一道光從天上射下來，四面照著他。 4 他倒在地上，聽見有聲音對他說：「掃羅！掃羅！你為什麼迫害我？」 5 他說：「主啊，你是誰？」那聲音說：「我就是你所迫害的耶穌。 6 起來！進城去，有人會告訴你該做的事。」
7 同行的人站在那裡只聽見聲音，卻看不見人，嚇得張口結舌。 8 掃羅爬起來，睜大眼睛，卻什麼也看不見，同伴拉著他的手進了大馬士革。 9 一連三天，掃羅什麼也看不見，也不吃也不喝。
10 這時候，在大馬士革有個門徒名叫亞拿尼亞，他在異象中聽見主呼喚他的名字，就回答說：「主啊，我在這裡。」
11 主說：「起來，到直街的猶大家去見一個來自大數、名叫掃羅的人，他正在向我禱告。 12 我讓他在異象中看見一個名叫亞拿尼亞的人去他那裡，把手按在他身上，使他恢復視力。」
13 亞拿尼亞回答說：「主啊！我聽見許多人說他對耶路撒冷的信徒大加迫害。 14 他來這裡是得到祭司長的授權，要拘捕所有求告你名的人。」
15 主對亞拿尼亞說：「你放心去吧！他是我揀選的器皿，要向外族人、君王和以色列人宣揚我的名。 16 我會讓他知道他必為我的名而受許多的苦。」
17 亞拿尼亞去了，進了那家，就把手按在掃羅身上，說：「掃羅弟兄，在你來的路上向你顯現的主耶穌派我來使你重見光明、被聖靈充滿。」 18 頓時，掃羅的眼睛上有鱗片似的東西脫落，他立刻恢復了視力，便起來接受了洗禮。 19 他吃過東西之後，體力也恢復了。他和大馬士革的門徒住了幾天之後， 20 便到各會堂去宣講：「耶穌是上帝的兒子。」
21 聽的人都大吃一驚，說：「他不就是那在耶路撒冷迫害信徒的人嗎？他到這裡來不是要把大馬士革的信徒押去見祭司長嗎？」
22 但掃羅越發有能力，引經據典證明耶穌是基督，使大馬士革的猶太人驚慌失措。
掃羅逃生
23 過了一段日子，猶太人圖謀殺死掃羅。 24 他們晝夜在城門守候，伺機下手，但這陰謀被掃羅知道了。 25 他的門徒趁夜間用筐子把他從城牆上縋下去。
26 掃羅逃到耶路撒冷後，曾設法與當地的門徒聯絡，可是他們都怕他，不相信他是門徒。 27 只有巴拿巴接待他，帶他去見使徒，向他們陳述掃羅如何在路上遇見主，主如何對他說話，他又如何勇敢地在大馬士革奉耶穌的名傳道。 28 於是，掃羅就在耶路撒冷與使徒一起出入來往，奉主的名放膽傳道。 29 他常常跟那些講希臘話的猶太人辯論，於是他們打算殺掉他。 30 弟兄姊妹知道這消息後，就把掃羅帶到凱撒利亞，然後送他到大數去。
31 當時，猶太、加利利、撒瑪利亞各地的教會都很平安，得到了堅固。信徒們非常敬畏主，又得到聖靈的安慰，人數越來越多。
彼得醫治癱子
32 彼得四處奔波，來到呂大探訪那裡的信徒， 33 遇見一個已經臥床八年、名叫以尼雅的癱子。 34 彼得對他說：「以尼雅，耶穌基督已經醫好你了，起來收拾你的墊子吧！」他立刻應聲而起。 35 呂大和沙崙的居民看見他，都歸向了主。
彼得使死人復活
36 在約帕有個樂善好施的女信徒名叫戴碧達，希臘話叫多加，意思是「羚羊」。 37 當時，她患病死了。有人將她的屍體洗乾淨後，停放在樓上。 38 呂大和約帕相距不遠，門徒聽說彼得在呂大，就派兩個人趕去請他立刻來約帕。 39 彼得便隨他們一同到了那裡，有人領他上樓。眾寡婦都站在彼得周圍哭，並把多加生前縫制的內衣、外衣給他看。
40 彼得叫她們都出去，自己跪下禱告，然後轉身對死者說：「戴碧達，起來！」她便睜開了眼睛，看見彼得，就坐了起來。 41 彼得伸手扶她起來後，叫那些在外面等候的門徒和寡婦進來，把活過來的多加交給他們。 42 這事傳遍了整個約帕，許多人都信了主。 43 彼得繼續留在約帕，在當地一個名叫西門的皮革匠家住了好些日子。

9 But Saul, yet breathing threatening and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2 and asked of him letters to Damascus unto the synagogues, that if he found any that were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3 And as he journeyed, it came to pass that he drew nigh unto Damascus: and suddenly there shone round about him a light out of heaven: 4 and he fell upon the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: 6 but rise, and enter into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. 7 And the men that journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing the [a]voice, but beholding no man. 8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing; and they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. 9 And he was three days without sight, and did neither eat nor drink.
10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and the Lord said unto him in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. 11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus: for behold, he prayeth; 12 and he hath seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight. 13 But Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many of this man, how much evil he did to thy saints at Jerusalem: 14 and here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call upon thy name. 15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a [b]chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings, and the children of Israel: 16 for I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name’s sake. 17 And Ananias departed, and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared unto thee in the way which thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. 18 And straightway there fell from his eyes as it were scales, and he received his sight; and he arose and was baptized; 19 and he took food and was strengthened.
And he was certain days with the disciples that were at Damascus. 20 And straightway in the synagogues he proclaimed Jesus, that he is the Son of God. 21 And all that heard him were amazed, and said, Is not this he that in Jerusalem made havoc of them that called on this name? and he had come hither for this intent, that he might bring them bound before the chief priests. 22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews that dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.
23 And when many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel together to kill him: 24 but their plot became known to Saul. And they watched the gates also day and night that they might kill him: 25 but his disciples took him by night, and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
26 And when he was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: and they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple. 27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus. 28 And he was with them going in and going out at Jerusalem, 29 preaching boldly in the name of the Lord: and he spake and disputed against the [c]Grecian Jews; but they were seeking to kill him. 30 And when the brethren knew it, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
31 So the church throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being [d]edified; and, walking [e]in the fear of the Lord and [f]in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was multiplied. 32 And it came to pass, as Peter went throughout all parts, he came down also to the saints that dwelt at Lydda. 33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had kept his bed eight years; for he was palsied. 34 And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ healeth thee: arise, and make thy bed. And straightway he arose. 35 And all that dwelt at Lydda and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called [g]Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did. 37 And it came to pass in those days, that she fell sick, and died: and when they had washed her, they laid her in an upper chamber. 38 And as Lydda was nigh unto Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men unto him, entreating him, Delay not to come on unto us. 39 And Peter arose and went with them. And when he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them. 40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning to the body, he said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes; and when she saw Peter, she sat up. 41 And he gave her his hand, and raised her up; and calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive. 42 And it became known throughout all Joppa: and many believed on the Lord. 43 And it came to pass, that he abode many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
