7 大祭司问司提反：“真有这些事吗？”
2 司提反说：“各位父老兄弟，请听！我们的先祖亚伯拉罕住哈兰以前，还在美索不达米亚的时候，荣耀的神向他显现， 3 对他说：
‘你要离开你的故土和亲族，
到我所要指示你的地方去。’[a]
