亚拿尼亚和撒非拉的鉴戒
5 有一个人名叫亚拿尼亚，同他妻子撒非拉，把田产卖了。 2 他私底下把钱留了一部分，妻子也知道这件事。他把其余的一部分带来，放在使徒的脚前。 3 彼得说：“亚拿尼亚，为甚么撒但充满了你的心，使你欺骗圣灵，私底下把卖地的钱留了一部分呢？ 4 田地还没有卖，不是你自己的吗？既然卖了，所得的钱不是由你作主吗？你为甚么存心这样作呢？你这不是欺骗人，而是欺骗 神。” 5 亚拿尼亚一听见这话，就仆倒断了气。所有听见的人都十分害怕。 6 有几个青年人来把他包好，抬出去埋了。
7 大约三小时之后，亚拿尼亚的妻子进来，还不知道发生了甚么事。 8 彼得问她：“你告诉我，你们卖田地的钱，就是这么多吗？”她说：“是的，就是这么多。” 9 彼得说：“你们为甚么串同试探主的灵呢？你看，埋你丈夫的人的脚，已经到了门口，他们也要把你抬出去。” 10 她立刻就仆倒在彼得脚前，断了气。那些青年人进来，发现她死了，把她也抬出去，埋在她丈夫旁边。 11 全体会众和所有听见这事的人，都很害怕。
使徒行神迹奇事
12 主借着使徒的手，在民间行了许多神迹奇事。他们都同心聚集在所罗门廊下， 13 其余的人，没有一个敢接近他们，可是民众都很敬重他们。 14 信主的男男女女越来越多， 15 甚至有人把病人抬到街上，放在小床和褥子上，好让彼得经过时，至少他的身影可以落在一些人身上。 16 耶路撒冷周围城市的人，也带着病人和受污灵缠扰的，蜂拥而来，结果病人全都医好了。
使徒受迫害
17 大祭司和他的同党撒都该人都起来，满心忌恨， 18 于是下手拿住使徒，把他们押在公共拘留所里。 19 夜间有一位天使，打开监门，把他们领出来，说： 20 “你们去，站在殿里，把一切有关这生命的话，都讲给众民听。” 21 使徒听完了，就在黎明的时候，进到殿里去教导。大祭司和他的同党来到了，就召集了公议会和以色列人的众长老，派人到监牢去带使徒出来。 22 差役到了监里，找不到他们，回来报告说： 23 “我们发现监门紧闭，狱卒也守在门外；等到开了门，里面连一个人也找不到。” 24 圣殿的守卫长和祭司长听了这些话，觉得很困惑，不知道这件事将来会怎样。 25 忽然有人来报告说：“你们押在监里的那些人，正站在殿里教导众民呢！” 26 于是守卫长和差役去带使徒来，不过没有用暴力，因为怕众民用石头打他们。
27 既然带来了，就叫他们站在公议会前。大祭司问他们： 28 “我们严厉地吩咐过你们，不准再奉这名教导。看，你们却把你们的道理传遍了耶路撒冷，想要把流这人的血的责任推到我们身上。” 29 彼得和众使徒回答：“服从 神过于服从人，是应当的。 30 你们挂在木头上亲手杀害的耶稣，我们祖先的 神已经使他复活了。 31 神把他高举在自己的右边，作元首作救主，把悔改的心赐给了以色列人，使他们罪得赦免。 32 我们为这些事作证， 神赐给顺从的人的圣灵也为这些事作证。”
33 公议会的人听了，非常恼怒，就想要杀他们。 34 但有一个法利赛人，名叫迦玛列，是民众所尊敬的律法教师。他在公议会中站起来，吩咐人把使徒暂时带出去， 35 然后对大家说：“以色列人哪，你们应当小心处理这些人！ 36 从前有个丢大，自命不凡，附从他的人约有四百。他一被杀，跟从他的人尽都星散，一败涂地。 37 这人之后，在户口登记的时候，又有一个加利利人犹大，拉拢人们来跟从他。后来他也丧命，跟从他的人也就烟消云散了。 38 至于目前的事，我劝你们不要管这些人，由他们吧！因为这计划或这行动，如果是出于人意，终必失败； 39 如果是出于 神，你们就不能破坏他们，恐怕你们是与 神作对了。”他们接受了他的劝告， 40 就传使徒进来，鞭打一顿，禁止他们奉耶稣的名传讲，就把他们释放了。 41 使徒欢欢喜喜从公议会里出来，因为他们算是配得为主的名受辱。 42 他们天天在殿里并在各人的家中，不断地教导，传讲耶稣是基督。

ה אולם היה ביניהם גם אדם אחר בשם חנניה. הוא ואשתו שפירה החליטו למכור את חלקת אדמתם. 2 בהסכמת אשתו החביא חנניה חלק מהכסף שקיבל תמורת האדמה, ואת יתרת הסכום הביא אל השליחים, בהצהירו שזה כל הסכום שקיבל תמורת האדמה.
3 "חנניה," אמר לו פטרוס, "מדוע הנחת לשטן להשתלט על לבך? כשטענת שזהו הסכום כולו, שיקרת לרוח הקודש! 4 הרכוש היה שלך, והיית רשאי למכרו או להחזיק בו. גם לאחר שמכרת אותו היה מותר לך להחליט איזה חלק מהסכום לתת. כיצד יכולת לעשות דבר כזה? לא לנו שיקרת, כי אם לה'!"
5 ברגע ששמע חנניה מילים אלה, צנח ארצה ומת. כל הנוכחים נבהלו מאוד. 6 באו בחורים אחדים וכיסו אותו בסדין, הוציאוהו החוצה וקברו אותו.
7 כשלוש שעות לאחר מכן באה לשם אשתו של חנניה, בלי שידעה דבר על מה שקרה. 8 "אמרי לי, פנה אליה פטרוס, "האם מכרתם את אדמתכם במחיר כזה וכזה?"
"כן," ענתה שפירה, "במחיר הזה מכרנו את האדמה."
9 "כיצד יכולתם, את ובעלך, אפילו להעלות על דעתכם לנסות את רוח ה'?" קרא פטרוס. "מאחורי הדלת הזאת עומדים הבחורים שקברו זה עתה את בעלך, ובעוד רגע הם יישאו גם אותך החוצה!"
10 באותו רגע נפלה גם שפירה על הרצפה ומתה. כשנכנסו הצעירים וראו שהיא מתה, נשאו אותה החוצה וקברו אותה לצד בעלה. 11 אימה גדולה נפלה על כל הקהל ועל כל מי ששמע מה קרה.
12 בינתיים המשיכו השליחים להתאסף בקביעות בבית-המקדש, באגף הנקרא "אולם שלמה", וחוללו נסים ונפלאות לעיני כל העם. 13 המאמינים האחרים לא העזו להצטרף אל השליחים, אך כולם התייחסו אליהם ביראת כבוד. 14 ומספר הגברים והנשים שהאמינו באדון ישוע הלך וגדל מיום ליום. 15 החולים הוצאו לרחובות על מיטות ומזרונים, כדי שייפול עליהם צילו של פטרוס בשעה שיעבור שם. 16 אנשים רבים מערי הסביבה נהרו לירושלים והביאו איתם חולים ואחוזי-שדים, וכולם נרפאו.
17 הכהן הגדול וידידיו מבין הצדוקים הגיבו בזעם ובקנאה. 18 הם תפסו את השליחים וכלאו אותם בבית-הסוהר העירוני.
19 אולם באותו לילה בא מלאך ה', פתח את שערי הכלא, שלח אותם לחופשי ואמר להם: 20 "שובו לבית-המקדש והמשיכו לבשר לעם את כל דברי החיים האלה!"
21 השליחים הגיעו לפנות-בוקר לבית-המקדש, ומיד החלו ללמד את העם. מאוחר יותר הגיעו למקדש הכהן הגדול ופמלייתו, ולאחר שכינסו את כל חברי הסנהדרין, שלחו לקרוא לשליחים שבכלא כדי להעמידם לדין. 22 אולם כשהגיעו אנשי המשמר לכלא, לא מצאו שם את השליחים! הם חזרו אל המועצה ודיווחו: 23 "שערי בית-הסוהר היו נעולים, והשומרים עמדו על משמרתם; אך כשפתחנו את השערים לא מצאנו איש בפנים!" 24 ראשי הכוהנים ומפקד משמר-המקדש נבהלו מאוד ותהו כיצד ייגמר העניין. 25 כעבור זמן קצר בא מישהו והודיע: "האנשים שאסרתם עומדים בבית-המקדש ומלמדים את העם!"
28 "האם לא אמרנו לכם שלא לדבר יותר לעולם על הישוע הזה?" דרש הכהן הגדול. "במקום לשמוע לקולנו הפצתם את תורתכם בכל ירושלים, ומלבד זאת אתם עוד מנסים להטיל עלינו את האשמה במותו!"
29 על כך ענו פטרוס והשליחים: "עלינו לשמוע קודם כל לקול אלוהים, ורק לאחר מכן לקולם של בני-אדם! 30 אלוהי אבותינו החזיר את ישוע לחיים, לאחר שהרגתם אותו בתלייה על הצלב. 31 ואז, בגבורה גדולה, העלה אותו האלוהים למעלת שר ומושיע, כדי לתת לבני-ישראל הזדמנות לחזור בתשובה ולקבל סליחה על חטאיהם. 32 אנחנו עדים לדברים אלה, וכן גם רוח הקודש שנתן ה' לכל מי ששומע בקולו."
33 דברים אלה הרגיזו כל-כך את חברי הסנהדרין, עד שהחליטו להוציא את השליחים להורג. 34 אולם פרוש אחד מחברי הסנהדרין, גמליאל שמו, קם על רגליו ודרש להוציא את השליחים מן האולם עד שיסיים לומר את דבריו (הוא היה בקיא בתורה ונכבד מאוד בעיני העם).
35 לאחר מכן פנה אל חברי הסנהדרין ואמר:
"אנשי ישראל, עליכם לשקול היטב ובכובד ראש מה שאתה עומדים לעשות לאנשים האלה. 36 אל תשכחו שלפני זמן-מה קם אותו ברנש תודס, והעמיד פנים שהוא איש חשוב. כ- 400 איש הצטרפו אליו, אולם לאחר שנהרג התפזרו תלמידיו לכל עבר.
37 "לאחר תודס, בזמן מפקד התושבים, קם יהודה הגלילי. הוא משך אחריו תלמידים רבים, אך גם הוא מת וכל תלמידיו נעלמו.
38 "משום כך אני מציע שתעזבו את האנשים האלה לנפשם. אם התורה הזאת שהם מלמדים בדויה מלבם - היא תישכח במהרה. 39 אך אם היא מאלוהים - לא תוכלו לעצור את האנשים האלה; אתם עלולים למצוא את עצמכם נלחמים נגד אלוהים!"
40 חברי הסנהדרין קיבלו את עצתו של רבן גמליאל. הם הכניסו את השליחים אל האולם, הלקו אותם בשוטים, ציוו עליהם שלא לדבר יותר לעולם בשם ישוע, ולבסוף שחררו אותם. 41 השליחים יצאו מאולם בית הדין בלב שמח, משום שה' מצא אותם ראויים לסבול חרפה למען שם ישוע. 42 ויום יום, בבית-המקדש ובבתים, המשיכו ללמד שישוע הוא המשיח.

欺騙聖靈
5 一個名叫亞拿尼亞的人與妻子撒非喇也把田產賣了。 2 他私自留下一部分錢，然後把其餘的拿去交給使徒，這件事他妻子也知道。 3 彼得說：「亞拿尼亞，你為什麼讓撒旦充滿你的心，欺騙聖靈，私自留下一些賣地的錢呢？ 4 田產沒有賣的時候屬於你，即使賣了，賣地的錢也由你支配。你怎麼做出這種事呢？你不是欺騙人，你是欺騙上帝！」 5 亞拿尼亞聽見這話，當場倒地而死。聽見這件事的人都非常懼怕。 6 有幾個青年上前把他的屍體裹起來，抬出去埋葬了。
7 大約過了三個小時，亞拿尼亞的妻子也進來了，她還不知道發生了什麼事。 8 彼得問她：「你們賣田地的錢就這麼多嗎？」她說：「是的，就這麼多。」
9 彼得說：「你們二人怎麼串通起來試探主的靈呢？埋葬你丈夫的人就到門口了，他們也要把你抬出去。」 10 撒非喇立刻倒在彼得腳前死了。那些青年進來看見她已經死了，便把她抬出去葬在她丈夫的旁邊。 11 整個教會和聽見這件事的人都非常懼怕。

12 主藉著使徒們在百姓中行了許多神蹟奇事，大家同心合意地在所羅門廊那裡聚會。 13 其他人不敢接近他們，不過百姓都很敬重他們。 14 信主的人數不斷增加，男女都有。 15 人們甚至把病人抬到街上，放在床上或墊子上，希望彼得路過時的影子可以落在病人身上。 16 還有大群的人從耶路撒冷附近的城鎮帶著病人和被污鬼攪擾的人趕來，他們都得了醫治。

17 大祭司和他的同黨撒都該人看見這情形，妒火中燒， 18 便把使徒拘捕，關在監裡。 19 當天晚上，有一位主的天使把獄門打開，領他們出來， 20 說：「你們到聖殿去，把這生命之道傳給百姓。」 21 使徒遵從命令，在黎明的時候來到聖殿開始教導眾人。
大祭司和他的同黨召集了所有公會[a]的人和以色列的眾長老，然後派人去監獄把使徒押來受審。 22 差役來到監獄時，發現使徒已經不見了，就回去稟告，說： 23 「我們看見牢門緊鎖，守衛都站在門外，但打開門一看，裡面卻空無一人！」
24 聖殿護衛長和祭司長聽後，都很困擾，不知道是怎麼回事。 25 這時有人來報告說：「你們關押在牢裡的人正在聖殿裡教導人！」 26 聖殿護衛長和差役再去把使徒抓回來。這次他們不敢動粗，生怕百姓會用石頭打他們。
27 使徒被帶來後站在公會前，大祭司盤問他們，說： 28 「我們不是嚴禁你們奉耶穌的名去教導百姓嗎？你們竟然在耶路撒冷各處傳道，還想把殺那人的血債歸到我們身上！」
29 彼得和其他使徒申辯說：「我們要服從的是上帝，而非人。 30 你們釘死在十字架上的耶穌，我們祖先的上帝已經使祂復活了。 31 上帝把祂提升到自己的右邊，立祂為君王和救主，好賜給以色列人悔改的機會，使他們的罪得到赦免。 32 我們就是這些事的見證人，上帝賜給順服祂之人的聖靈也同樣做見證。」
33 他們聽了，怒氣衝天，打算殺掉使徒。 34 公會中有一位名叫迦瑪列的法利賽人，是個德高望重的律法教師。他站起來，叫人把使徒暫且押到外面， 35 然後說：「以色列人啊，你們應當慎重處置這些人。 36 不久前，有個名叫杜達的人起來自立山頭，吸引了差不多四百個跟隨者，但他被殺之後，那些跟隨者就各奔東西，銷聲匿跡了。 37 後來，又有個加利利人猶大在戶口登記期間鼓動百姓跟隨他造反。他被殺之後，那些跟隨者也煙消雲散了。 38 所以，像現在這種情形，我勸大家還是不要管他們，隨他們去吧。他們的計劃和行為如果是出於人意，終必失敗； 39 但如果是出於上帝，你們不但無法阻止他們，恐怕反而是在抵擋上帝！」
40 公會採納了他的意見，於是把使徒召回來打了一頓，再次警告他們不可奉耶穌的名傳道，才放了他們。 41 使徒離開公會後，為自己有資格為主的名受辱而歡喜。 42 他們每天在聖殿裡和各家各戶教導人，傳揚耶穌是基督。

5 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.
14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
17 Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,
18 And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.
19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,
20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
21 And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
22 But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned and told,
23 Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.
24 Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.
25 Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.
27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,
28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.
34 Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;
35 And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.
36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.
37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.
38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:
39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.
42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

5 Pero cierto hombre llamado Ananías, con Safira su mujer, vendió una heredad, 2 y sustrajo del precio, sabiéndolo también su mujer; y trayendo sólo una parte, la puso a los pies de los apóstoles. 3 Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué llenó Satanás tu corazón para que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y sustrajeses del precio de la heredad? 4 Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba a ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu poder? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido a los hombres, sino a Dios. 5 Al oír Ananías estas palabras, cayó y expiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron. 6 Y levantándose los jóvenes, lo envolvieron, y sacándolo, lo sepultaron.
7 Pasado un lapso como de tres horas, sucedió que entró su mujer, no sabiendo lo que había acontecido. 8 Entonces Pedro le dijo: Dime, ¿vendisteis en tanto la heredad? Y ella dijo: Sí, en tanto. 9 Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué convinisteis en tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí a la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado a tu marido, y te sacarán a ti. 10 Al instante ella cayó a los pies de él, y expiró; y cuando entraron los jóvenes, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto a su marido. 11 Y vino gran temor sobre toda la iglesia, y sobre todos los que oyeron estas cosas.
Muchas señales y maravillas
12 Y por la mano de los apóstoles se hacían muchas señales y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón. 13 De los demás, ninguno se atrevía a juntarse con ellos; mas el pueblo los alababa grandemente. 14 Y los que creían en el Señor aumentaban más, gran número así de hombres como de mujeres; 15 tanto que sacaban los enfermos a las calles, y los ponían en camas y lechos, para que al pasar Pedro, a lo menos su sombra cayese sobre alguno de ellos. 16 Y aun de las ciudades vecinas muchos venían a Jerusalén, trayendo enfermos y atormentados de espíritus inmundos; y todos eran sanados.

17 Entonces levantándose el sumo sacerdote y todos los que estaban con él, esto es, la secta de los saduceos, se llenaron de celos; 18 y echaron mano a los apóstoles y los pusieron en la cárcel pública. 19 Mas un ángel del Señor, abriendo de noche las puertas de la cárcel y sacándolos, dijo: 20 Id, y puestos en pie en el templo, anunciad al pueblo todas las palabras de esta vida. 21 Habiendo oído esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban.
Entre tanto, vinieron el sumo sacerdote y los que estaban con él, y convocaron al concilio y a todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron a la cárcel para que fuesen traídos. 22 Pero cuando llegaron los alguaciles, no los hallaron en la cárcel; entonces volvieron y dieron aviso, 23 diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas afuera de pie ante las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, a nadie hallamos dentro. 24 Cuando oyeron estas palabras el sumo sacerdote y el jefe de la guardia del templo y los principales sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría a parar aquello. 25 Pero viniendo uno, les dio esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que pusisteis en la cárcel están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo. 26 Entonces fue el jefe de la guardia con los alguaciles, y los trajo sin violencia, porque temían ser apedreados por el pueblo.
27 Cuando los trajeron, los presentaron en el concilio, y el sumo sacerdote les preguntó, 28 diciendo: ¿No os mandamos estrictamente que no enseñaseis en ese nombre? Y ahora habéis llenado a Jerusalén de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de ese hombre.(A) 29 Respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es necesario obedecer a Dios antes que a los hombres. 30 El Dios de nuestros padres levantó a Jesús, a quien vosotros matasteis colgándole en un madero. 31 A este, Dios ha exaltado con su diestra por Príncipe y Salvador, para dar a Israel arrepentimiento y perdón de pecados. 32 Y nosotros somos testigos suyos de estas cosas, y también el Espíritu Santo, el cual ha dado Dios a los que le obedecen.
33 Ellos, oyendo esto, se enfurecían y querían matarlos. 34 Entonces levantándose en el concilio un fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerado de todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera por un momento a los apóstoles, 35 y luego dijo: Varones israelitas, mirad por vosotros lo que vais a hacer respecto a estos hombres. 36 Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien. A este se unió un número como de cuatrocientos hombres; pero él fue muerto, y todos los que le obedecían fueron dispersados y reducidos a nada. 37 Después de este, se levantó Judas el galileo, en los días del censo, y llevó en pos de sí a mucho pueblo. Pereció también él, y todos los que le obedecían fueron dispersados. 38 Y ahora os digo: Apartaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo o esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá; 39 mas si es de Dios, no la podréis destruir; no seáis tal vez hallados luchando contra Dios.
40 Y convinieron con él; y llamando a los apóstoles, después de azotarlos, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y los pusieron en libertad. 41 Y ellos salieron de la presencia del concilio, gozosos de haber sido tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por causa del Nombre. 42 Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar a Jesucristo.
