²³彼得和約翰被釋放了之後，回到自己的人那裡去，把祭司長和長老說的一切，都告訴他們。 ²⁴他們聽了，就同心向　神高聲說：“主啊，你是那創造天地、海洋和其中萬物的主宰。 ²⁵你曾以聖靈藉著你僕人我們祖先大衛的口說：

‘列國為甚麼騷動？

萬民為甚麼空謀妄想？

²³On their release, Peter and John went back to their own people and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them. ²⁴When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God.^(A) “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “you made the heavens and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.^(B) ²⁵You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David:^(C)
