3 在下午三点祷告的时辰，彼得和约翰上圣殿去。 2 有一个生来瘸腿的人被人抬来。他们天天把他放在那名叫美门的殿门口，让他好向进殿的人讨饭。 3 他看见彼得和约翰将要进殿，就向他们讨饭。 4 彼得和约翰定睛看着他，彼得说：“你看我们！” 5 那人就留意看着他们，希望从他们得些甚么。 6 彼得却说：“金银我都没有，只把我有的给你：我奉拿撒勒人耶稣基督的名，吩咐你行走！” 7 于是拉着他的右手，扶他起来；他的脚和踝骨立刻强壮有力， 8 他一跳就站了起来，并且行走。他连走带跳，赞美 神，同他们进入殿中。 9 群众看见他一边走一边赞美 神； 10 他们一认出他就是那平时坐在圣殿美门口讨饭的，就因他所经历的事，满心希奇，惊讶不已。

11 那人拉着彼得和约翰的时候，群众都很惊奇，跑到他们那里，就是所罗门廊的下面。 12 彼得看见了，就对群众说：“以色列人哪，为甚么因这事希奇呢？为甚么瞪着我们，好象我们是凭着自己的能力和虔诚，使这人行走呢？ 13 亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的 神，就是我们祖宗的 神，荣耀了他的仆人耶稣。这位耶稣，你们把他送交官府。彼拉多本来定意要放他，你们却当着彼拉多的面拒绝他。 14 你们把那圣者义者拒绝了，反而要求给你们释放一个杀人犯。 15 你们杀了那‘生命的创始者’， 神却使他从死人中复活。我们就是这件事的见证人。 16 是他的名—因信他的名—使你们所看见所认识的这个人强壮了。这从耶稣而来的信心，当着你们众人面前，把他完全医好了。 17 弟兄们，我知道你们所作的，是出于无知，你们的官长也是这样。 18 但 神曾经借着众先知的口，预先宣告他所立的基督将要受害的事，就这样应验了。 19 所以你们应当悔改归正，使你们的罪得着涂抹。 20 这样，那安乐的日子，必从主面前来到，并且他必把为你们预先选定的基督（耶稣）差来。 21 他必留在天上，直到万物复兴的时候，就是 神自古借着圣先知的口所说的。 22 摩西曾说：‘你们的主 神要从你们弟兄中间，给你们兴起一位先知像我；无论他对你们说甚么，你们都应当听从。 23 无论谁不听从那位先知，必定从民中灭绝。’ 24 所有从撒母耳起，以及相继兴起来讲话的先知，都曾经宣告这些日子。 25 你们是先知的子孙，也是承受 神向你们祖先所立之约的人。 神曾经对亚伯拉罕说：‘地上万族，都要因你的后裔得福。’ 26 神先给你们兴起他的仆人，差他来祝福你们，使你们各人回转，离开邪恶。”

彼得醫治瘸腿的乞丐
3 一天，在下午三點禱告的時間，彼得和約翰去聖殿。 2 有一個生來瘸腿的人天天被人抬到聖殿美門的外面，向進殿的人乞討。 3 他看見彼得和約翰要進殿，就求他們施捨。 4 二人定睛看他，彼得說：「看著我們！」 5 那人就緊盯著他們，期盼能有所收穫。
6 彼得說：「金子、銀子我都沒有，但是我把我有的給你。我奉拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名，命令你起來行走！」
7 彼得拉著他的右手扶他起來，那人的腳和踝骨立刻變得強健有力。 8 他跳了起來，站穩後開始行走，跟著彼得和約翰進入聖殿，走著跳著讚美上帝。 9 大家看見他一邊走一邊讚美上帝， 10 認出他就是那個在美門外面的乞丐，都為發生在他身上的事而感到驚奇、詫異。 11 那乞丐緊緊拉著彼得和約翰的手走到所羅門廊，眾人都跑過來，嘖嘖稱奇。

12 彼得看見這情形，就對大家說：「以色列人啊，何必驚奇呢？為什麼一直盯著我們呢？你們以為我們是憑自己的能力和虔誠叫這人行走嗎？ 13 亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的上帝，就是我們祖先的上帝，已經使祂的僕人耶穌得了榮耀。你們把耶穌交給彼拉多，儘管彼拉多想釋放祂，你們卻在彼拉多面前棄絕祂！ 14 你們棄絕了那聖潔公義者，竟然要求彼拉多釋放一個兇手。 15 你們殺了生命之主，上帝卻使祂從死裡復活了。我們都是這事的見證人。 16 你們認識的這個乞丐因為相信耶穌的名，得到了醫治。你們都看見了，他能痊癒是因為他信耶穌。
17 「弟兄們，我知道你們的所作所為是出於無知，你們的官長也是一樣。 18 但是上帝早已藉眾先知預言基督要受害，這事果然應驗了。 19 所以你們要悔改，歸向上帝，祂將除去你們一切的罪惡， 20 賜給你們煥然一新的日子，也將差遣祂預先為你們選立的基督耶穌降臨。 21 基督必須留在天上，直到萬物更新的時候，這是上帝自古以來藉聖先知的口說的。 22 摩西曾經說，『主——你們的上帝將要在你們中間興起一位像我一樣的先知。你們要留心聽祂的話， 23 凡不聽的，必將他從民中剷除。』
24 「從撒母耳到後來的所有先知都宣告過這些日子。 25 你們是先知的子孫，也承受了上帝和你們祖先所立的約。上帝曾對亞伯拉罕說，『天下萬族必因你的後裔而蒙福。』 26 上帝興起祂的僕人，首先差遣祂到你們中間賜福給你們，使你們脫離罪惡。」

Peter Heals a Crippled Man
3 One day Peter and John went to the Temple. It was three o’clock in the afternoon. This was the time for the daily prayer service. 2 There, at the Temple gate called Beautiful Gate, was a man who had been crippled all his life. Every day he was carried to this gate to beg. He would ask for money from the people going into the Temple. 3 The man saw Peter and John going into the Temple and asked them for money. 4 Peter and John looked straight at him and said, “Look at us!” 5 The man looked at them; he thought they were going to give him some money. 6 But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold, but I do have something else I can give you: By the power of Jesus Christ from Nazareth—stand up and walk!” 7 Then Peter took the man’s right hand and lifted him up. Immediately the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk. He went into the Temple with them, walking and jumping, and praising God. 9-10 All the people recognized him. They knew he was the crippled man who always sat by the Beautiful Gate begging for money. Now they saw this same man walking and praising God. The people were amazed. They could not understand how this could happen.
Peter Speaks to the People
11 The man was holding on to Peter and John. All the people were amazed and ran to Peter and John at Solomon’s Porch. 12 When Peter saw this, he said to them, “Men of Israel, why are you surprised? You are looking at us as if it were our own power that made this man walk. Do you think this happened because we are good? No! 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our ancestors, gave glory to Jesus, his servant. But you gave him up to be killed. Pilate decided to let him go free. But you told Pilate you did not want Jesus. 14 He was pure and good, but you said you did not want him. You told Pilate to give you a murderer[a] instead of Jesus. 15 And so you killed the One who gives life! But God raised him from death. We are witnesses to this. 16 It was the power of Jesus that made this crippled man well. This happened because we trusted in the power of Jesus. You can see this man, and you know him. He was made completely well because of trust in Jesus. You all saw it happen!
17 “Brothers, I know you did those things to Jesus because you did not understand what you were doing. Your leaders did not understand either. 18 God said this would happen. He said through the prophets that his Christ would suffer and die. And now God has made these things come true in this way. 19 So you must change your hearts and lives! Come back to God, and he will forgive your sins. 20 Then the Lord will give you times of spiritual rest. He will give you Jesus, the One he chose to be the Christ. 21 But Jesus must stay in heaven until the time comes when all things will be made right again. God told about this time long ago when he spoke through his holy prophets. 22 Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will give you a prophet like me. He will be one of your own people. You must obey everything he tells you. 23 Anyone who does not obey him will die, separated from God’s people.’[b] 24 Samuel, and all the other prophets who spoke for God after Samuel, told about this time now. 25 You have received what the prophets talked about. You have received the agreement God made with your ancestors. He said to your father Abraham, ‘Through your descendants all the nations on the earth will be blessed.’[c] 26 God has raised up his servant and sent him to you first. He sent Jesus to bless you by turning each of you away from doing evil things.”

Peter Heals a Man Lame From Birth In The Name of Jesus Christ The Nazarene
3 Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth[a] hour. 2 And a certain man being lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they were putting daily at the gate of the temple being called “Beautiful”, that he might be asking-for alms[b] from the ones coming into the temple— 3 who, having seen Peter and John being about to go into the temple, was asking to receive alms. 4 And Peter, along with John, having looked-intently at him, said, “Look at us!” 5 And the one was fixing-his-attention-on them, expecting to receive something from them. 6 And Peter said, “There is no silver and gold with me. But what I have, this I give to you— in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, arise and walk”. 7 And having seized him by the right hand, he raised him. And at once his feet and ankles were made-strong[c]. 8 And leaping-up, he stood and was walking-around. And he entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 And they were recognizing him— that he was the one sitting for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. And they were filled with wonder and astonishment at the thing having happened to him.
A Crowd Comes Together, And Peter Speaks To Them:
11 And while he was holding-on-to Peter and John, all the people ran-together to them at the portico being called “Solomon’s”, struck-with-wonder. 12 And having seen it, Peter responded to the people—
God Raised Jesus, The One You Denied And Killed. And Jesus Healed This Man
“Men, Israelites, why are you marveling at this? Or why are you looking-intently at us as-if we caused him to walk by our own power or godliness? 13 The God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers— He glorified His servant Jesus, Whom you indeed handed-over and denied in the presence of Pilate, that one having determined[d] to release Him. 14 But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked that a man who was a murderer be granted to you. 15 And you killed the Author[e] of life, Whom God raised from the dead— of which we are witnesses. 16 And on-the-basis-of [our] faith in His name, His name made this one strong whom you see and know. And the faith that comes through Him gave him this wholeness in front of all of you.
The Prophets Said The Christ Would Suffer, Which God Now Fulfilled. Therefore Repent
17 “And now, brothers, I know that you acted in-accordance-with[f] ignorance, just as also your rulers. 18 But God fulfilled in this manner the things which He announced-beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets— that His Christ would suffer. 19 Therefore repent and turn-back so that your sins may be wiped-out[g], 20 so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and He may send-forth the Christ[h] having been appointed[i] for you— Jesus, 21 Whom it-is-necessary[j] that heaven receive until the times of restoration of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of His holy prophets from the past age.
Moses And The Prophets Announced This Day. God Has Sent Jesus To You First
22 “Moses said [in Deut 18:15-19] that ‘The Lord your God will raise-up a prophet for you from your brothers like me. You shall listen-to[k] Him in relation to all that He says to you. 23 And it will be that every soul who does not listen-to that prophet will be utterly-destroyed out of the people’. 24 And[l] indeed all the prophets from Samuel and his successors who spoke also announced these days. 25 You are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God covenanted with your fathers, saying to Abraham [in Gen 22:18], ‘And all the families of the earth will be blessed in your seed’. 26 God, having raised-up His Servant, sent Him forth to you first— blessing you in[m] turning-away each of you from your evil-ways”.
