彼得医治瘸腿的乞丐
3 一天，在下午三点祷告的时间，彼得和约翰去圣殿。 2 有一个生来瘸腿的人天天被人抬到圣殿美门的外面，向进殿的人乞讨。 3 他看见彼得和约翰要进殿，就求他们施舍。 4 二人定睛看他，彼得说：“看着我们！” 5 那人就紧盯着他们，期盼能有所收获。
6 彼得说：“金子、银子我都没有，但是我把我有的给你。我奉拿撒勒人耶稣基督的名，命令你起来行走！”
7 彼得拉着他的右手扶他起来，那人的脚和踝骨立刻变得强健有力。 8 他跳了起来，站稳后开始行走，跟着彼得和约翰进入圣殿，走着跳着赞美上帝。 9 大家看见他一边走一边赞美上帝， 10 认出他就是那个在美门外面的乞丐，都为发生在他身上的事而感到惊奇、诧异。 11 那乞丐紧紧拉着彼得和约翰的手走到所罗门廊，众人都跑过来，啧啧称奇。

17 “弟兄们，我知道你们的所作所为是出于无知，你们的官长也是一样。 18 但是上帝早已借众先知预言基督要受害，这事果然应验了。 19 所以你们要悔改，归向上帝，祂将除去你们一切的罪恶， 20 赐给你们焕然一新的日子，也将差遣祂预先为你们选立的基督耶稣降临。 21 基督必须留在天上，直到万物更新的时候，这是上帝自古以来借圣先知的口说的。 22 摩西曾经说，‘主——你们的上帝将要在你们中间兴起一位像我一样的先知。你们要留心听祂的话， 23 凡不听的，必将他从民中铲除。’

Peter Heals a Crippled Man
3 One day Peter and John went to the Temple at ·three o’clock [L the ninth hour; time was reckoned from dawn, traditionally set at 6 AM], ·the time set each day for the afternoon prayer service [L the hour of prayer]. 2 There, at the Temple gate called Beautiful Gate [C unknown location, perhaps one of several gates between various courtyards], was a man who had been ·crippled [lame] ·all his life [L from his mother’s womb]. Every day ·he was carried to [people would lay him at] this gate to beg for ·money [alms] from the people going into the Temple [C the Temple complex; 2:46]. 3 The man saw Peter and John going into the Temple [C courts; 2:46] and asked them for ·money [alms; help]. 4 Peter and John looked ·straight [intently] at him and said, “Look at us!” 5 The man ·looked at [paid attention to] them, thinking they were going to give him ·some money [L something]. 6 But Peter said, “·I don’t have any silver or gold, but ·I do have something else I can give you [L what I do have, I give to you]. ·By the power [L In the name] of Jesus Christ ·from Nazareth [or the Nazarene], stand up and walk [Luke 5:23]!” 7 Then Peter took the man’s right hand and ·lifted [raised] him up. Immediately the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He ·jumped up [leaped], stood on his feet, and began to walk. He went into the Temple [C courts; 2:46] with them, walking and ·jumping [leaping] and praising God [Is. 35:4–6].
Peter Speaks to the People
11 While the man was ·holding on [clinging] to Peter and John, all the people were ·amazed [astonished] and ran to them at Solomon’s ·Porch [Portico; Colonnade; C columns marked the outside perimeter of the large outer court of the Temple]. 12 When Peter saw this, he ·said to [addressed] them, “·People of Israel [L Men, Israelites], why are you ·surprised [amazed]? ·You are [L Or why are you…?] ·looking [staring] at us as if it were our own power or ·goodness [piety; godliness] that made this man walk. 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our ·ancestors [forefathers; fathers], ·gave glory to [has glorified/honored] Jesus, his ·servant [or child]. But you handed him over to be killed. Pilate decided to let him go free, but you ·told Pilate you did not want [L disowned; rejected] Jesus. 14 You ·did not want [L disowned; rejected] the One who is holy and ·good [righteous] but asked Pilate to give you a murderer [C Barabbas; Luke 23:18] instead. 15 And so you killed the ·One who gives [Author/Source/Ruler of] life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses to this. 16 It was faith in [L the name of] Jesus that made this ·crippled [lame] man ·well [strong]. You can see this man, and you know him. He was made completely well because of ·trust [faith] in ·Jesus [L the name of Jesus], ·and you all saw it happen [in front of you all]!
17 “·Brothers and sisters [or Brothers; C fellow Jews], I know you did those things to Jesus because neither you nor your leaders [rulers] understood what you were doing. 18 God ·said [foretold; predicted] through [L the mouth of all] the prophets that his ·Christ [Messiah] would suffer. And now God has ·made these things come true [L fulfilled these things] in this way. 19 So you must ·change your hearts and lives [repent]! ·Come back [Return; Turn back] to God, and he will ·forgive [wipe out; erase] your sins. Then the ·time [L times; seasons] of ·rest [refreshment; comfort; C the messianic age] will come from [L the presence of] the Lord. 20 And he will send Jesus, the One he ·chose [appointed] to be the ·Christ [Messiah]. 21 But ·Jesus must stay in heaven [L heaven must receive/welcome him] until the time comes when all things will be ·made right again [restored; made new]. God ·told about [announced] this time long ago when he spoke through his holy prophets. 22 Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will ·give you [L raise up for you] a prophet like me, ·who is one of your own people [L from among your brothers]. You must ·listen to [hear; obey] everything he tells you. 23 Anyone who does not listen to that prophet will ·die, cut off [be utterly destroyed] from God’s people [Lev. 23:29; Deut. 18:15–20].’ 24 Samuel, and all the other prophets who spoke for God after Samuel, ·told [announced; foretold; predicted] about ·this time now [L these days; C there are no specific messianic prophecies from Samuel, but he did anoint David whose kingship anticipated the Messiah; 2 Sam. 7:12–16; Acts 13:22–23; Heb. 5:1]. 25 You are ·descendants [children; sons] of the prophets. You have received the ·agreement [covenant; treaty] God made with your ·ancestors [L fathers; patriarchs]. He said to your father Abraham, ‘Through your ·descendants [heirs; L seed] all the ·nations [or families] on the earth will be blessed [Gen. 22:18; 26:4].’ 26 God has raised up his ·servant [or child] Jesus and sent him to you first [C the Jews were to receive the blessing first, and through them God would bless all nations] to bless you by turning each of you away from ·doing evil [your wicked ways].”

3 PEDRO y Juan subían juntos al templo á la hora de oración, la de nona.
2 Y un hombre que era cojo desde el vientre de su madre, era traído; al cual ponían cada día á la puerta del templo que se llama la Hermosa, para que pidiese limosna de los que entraban en el templo.
3 Este, como vió á Pedro y á Juan que iban á entrar en el templo, rogaba que le diesen limosna.
4 Y Pedro, con Juan, fijando los ojos en él, dijo: Mira á nosotros.
5 Entonces él estuvo atento á ellos, esperando recibir de ellos algo.
6 Y Pedro dijo: Ni tengo plata ni oro; mas lo que tengo te doy: en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret, levántate y anda.
7 Y tomándole por la mano derecha le levantó: y luego fueron afirmados sus pies y tobillos;
8 Y saltando, se puso en pie, y anduvo; y entró con ellos en el templo, andando, y saltando, y alabando á Dios.
9 Y todo el pueblo le vió andar y alabar á Dios.
10 Y conocían que él era el que se sentaba á la limosna á la puerta del templo, la Hermosa: y fueron llenos de asombro y de espanto por lo que le había acontecido.
11 Y teniendo á Pedro y á Juan el cojo que había sido sanado, todo el pueblo concurrió á ellos al pórtico que se llama de Salomón, atónitos.
12 Y viendo esto Pedro, respondió al pueblo: Varones Israelitas, ¿por qué os maravilláis de esto? ó ¿por qué ponéis los ojos en nosotros, como si con nuestra virtud ó piedad hubiésemos hecho andar á éste?
13 El Dios de Abraham, y de Isaac, y de Jacob, el Dios de nuestros padres ha glorificado á su Hijo Jesús, al cual vosotros entregasteis, y negasteis delante de Pilato, juzgando él que había de ser suelto.
14 Mas vosotros al Santo y al Justo negasteis, y pedisteis que se os diese un homicida;
15 Y matasteis al Autor de la vida, al cual Dios ha resucitado de los muertos; de lo que nosotros somos testigos.
16 Y en la fe de su nombre, á éste que vosotros veis y conocéis, ha confirmado su nombre: y la fe que por él es, ha dado á este esta completa sanidad en presencia de todos vosotros.
17 Mas ahora, hermanos, sé que por ignorancia lo habéis hecho, como también vuestros príncipes.
18 Empero, Dios ha cumplido así lo que había antes anunciado por boca de todos sus profetas, que su Cristo había de padecer.
19 Así que, arrepentíos y convertíos, para que sean borrados vuestros pecados; pues que vendrán los tiempos del refrigerio de la presencia del Señor,
20 Y enviará á Jesucristo, que os fué antes anunciado:
21 Al cual de cierto es menester que el cielo tenga hasta los tiempos de la restauración de todas las cosas, que habló Dios por boca de sus santos profetas que han sido desde el siglo.
22 Porque Moisés dijo á los padres: El Señor vuestro Dios os levantará profeta de vuestros hermanos, como yo; á él oiréis en todas las cosas que os hablare.
23 Y será, que cualquiera alma que no oyere á aquel profeta, será desarraigada del pueblo.
24 Y todos los profetas desde Samuel y en adelante, todos los que han hablado, han anunciado estos días.
25 Vosotros sois los hijos de los profetas, y del pacto que Dios concertó con nuestros padres, diciendo á Abraham: Y en tu simiente serán benditas todas las familias de la tierra.
26 A vosotros primeramente, Dios, habiendo levantado á su Hijo, le envió para que os bendijese, á fin de que cada uno se convierta de su maldad.

Peter Heals a Lame Beggar
3 One day Peter and John(A) were going up to the temple(B) at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon.(C) 2 Now a man who was lame from birth(D) was being carried to the temple gate(E) called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg(F) from those going into the temple courts. 3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,(G) walk.” 7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping,(H) and praising God. 9 When all the people(I) saw him walking and praising God, 10 they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful,(J) and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Peter Speaks to the Onlookers
11 While the man held on to Peter and John,(K) all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon’s Colonnade.(L) 12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,(M) the God of our fathers,(N) has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over(O) to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate,(P) though he had decided to let him go.(Q) 14 You disowned the Holy(R) and Righteous One(S) and asked that a murderer be released to you.(T) 15 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead.(U) We are witnesses(V) of this. 16 By faith in the name of Jesus,(W) this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.
17 “Now, fellow Israelites,(X) I know that you acted in ignorance,(Y) as did your leaders.(Z) 18 But this is how God fulfilled(AA) what he had foretold(AB) through all the prophets,(AC) saying that his Messiah would suffer.(AD) 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out,(AE) that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20 and that he may send the Messiah,(AF) who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. 21 Heaven must receive him(AG) until the time comes for God to restore everything,(AH) as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.(AI) 22 For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.(AJ) 23 Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’[a](AK)
24 “Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets(AL) who have spoken have foretold these days. 25 And you are heirs(AM) of the prophets and of the covenant(AN) God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’[b](AO) 26 When God raised up(AP) his servant, he sent him first(AQ) to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”

3 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
