21 我们离别了他们以后，船就直航到了哥士，第二天到罗底，从那里开往帕大拉； 2 遇见了一艘开往腓尼基的船，就上船起行。 3 我们远远看见塞浦路斯，就从南边驶过，直航叙利亚，在推罗靠了岸，因为船要在那里卸货。 4 我们找到了一些门徒，就在那里住了七天。他们凭着圣灵的指示告诉保罗不要上耶路撒冷去。 5 过了这几天，我们就启程前行，他们众人带着妻子儿女送我们到城外。我们跪在海滩上祷告， 6 互相道别。我们上了船，他们就回家去了。
7 我们从推罗继续航行，到了多利买，问候那里的弟兄，与他们同住了一天。 8 第二天我们离开那里，来到该撒利亚，到了传福音的腓利家里，与他住在一起。他是那七位执事中的一位。 9 他有四个女儿，都是童女，是会说预言的。 10 我们住了几天之后，有一位先知，名叫亚迦布，从犹太下来。 11 他来见我们，把保罗的腰带拿过来，绑住自己的手脚，说：“圣灵说，犹太人在耶路撒冷要这样捆绑这腰带的主人，把他交在外族人的手里。” 12 我们听了这些话，就和当地的人劝保罗不要去耶路撒冷。 13 保罗却回答：“你们为甚么哭，使我心碎呢？我为主耶稣的名，不但被捆绑，就算死在耶路撒冷我也都准备好了。” 14 他既然不听劝，我们只说了“愿主的旨意成就”，就不出声了。
15 过了几天，我们收拾行装，上耶路撒冷去。 16 有该撒利亚的几个门徒同我们在一起，领我们到一个塞浦路斯人拿孙家里住宿；他作了门徒已经很久了。
保罗报告工作的情况
17 我们到了耶路撒冷，弟兄们欢欢喜喜接待我们。 18 第二天，保罗和我们一同去见雅各，长老们也都在座。 19 保罗问候了他们，就把 神借着他的工作在外族人中所行的事，一一述说出来。 20 他们听了，就赞美 神，对保罗说：“弟兄，你看，犹太人中信主的有好几万，都是对律法很热心的人。 21 他们听说，你教导所有在外族人中的犹太人背弃摩西，叫他们不要给孩子行割礼，也不要遵守规例。 22 他们总会听见你来了，那怎么办呢？ 23 你就照我们的话作吧，我们这里有四个人，都有愿在身。 24 你把他们带去，和他们一同行洁净礼，并且替他们付钱，让他们剃去头发，这样大家就知道以前所听见关于你的事，都不是真实的，也知道你是遵守律法循规蹈矩而行的人。 25 至于信主的外族人，我们已经写了信，吩咐他们要禁戒祭偶像的食物、血、勒死的牲畜和淫乱。” 26 保罗就把那几个人带走了，第二天和他们一同行了洁净礼。他们进了殿，报明了他们洁净期满的日子，以及各人献祭的时间。
保罗在圣殿被犹太人捉住
27 七日将完的时候，从亚西亚来的犹太人看见保罗在殿里，就煽动群众，并且捉住他， 28 喊叫着说：“以色列人哪，快来帮忙！这个人到处教导众人反对人民，反对律法和这个地方，他甚至把希腊人也带进殿里，污秽了这圣地。” 29 原来他们看见过以弗所人特罗非摩同保罗在城里，就以为保罗带他进了殿。 30 于是全城震动，民众一齐跑来，捉住保罗，拉出殿外，殿门就立刻关起来了。 31 他们正想杀他的时候，有人报告营部的千夫长，说：“整个耶路撒冷都乱了！” 32 千夫长立刻带着一些百夫长和士兵跑到他们那里。众人一看见千夫长和士兵，就停止殴打保罗。 33 于是千夫长上前捉住保罗，吩咐人用两条铁链捆住他，问他是甚么人，作过甚么事。 34 那时众人叫这个喊那个，吵吵闹闹，以致千夫长没有办法知道真相，只好下令把保罗带到营楼去。 35 保罗到了台阶下面的时候，士兵把他抬起来，因为群众猛挤， 36 而且有一群人跟在后面叫喊：“干掉他！”

37 他们带着保罗快到营楼的时候，保罗对千夫长说：“我可以跟你讲一句话吗？”千夫长说：“你懂希腊话吗？ 38 难道你不就是不久以前作乱的、带领四千个杀手到旷野去的那个埃及人吗？” 39 保罗说：“我是犹太人，是基利家的大数人，并不是无名小城的公民，求你准我向民众讲几句话。” 40 千夫长准许了他，保罗就站在台阶上，向民众作了一个手势。大家安静下来了，保罗就用希伯来语讲话，说：

21 După ce ne-am smuls din braţele lor, am plecat pe apă şi ne-am dus drept la Cos, a doua zi la Rodos şi de-acolo la Patara. 2 Am găsit o corabie care avea să treacă în Fenicia, ne-am suit în ea şi am plecat. 3 Am trecut prin faţa insulei Cipru, am lăsat-o la stânga şi ne-am urmat drumul spre Siria, apoi ne-am dat jos în Tir, unde avea să se descarce corabia. 4 Acolo, am găsit pe ucenici şi am rămas şapte zile. Ucenicii(A), prin Duhul, ziceau lui Pavel să nu se suie la Ierusalim. 5 Dar când s-au împlinit zilele, am plecat şi ne-am văzut de drum, şi ne-au petrecut toţi, cu nevestele şi copiii, până afară din cetate. Am îngenuncheat(B) pe mal şi ne-am rugat. 6 Apoi, ne-am luat ziua bună unii de la alţii şi noi ne-am suit în corabie, iar ei s-au întors acasă(C).

7 După ce ne-am isprăvit călătoria pe mare, din Tir am plecat la Ptolemaida, unde am urat de bine fraţilor şi am stat la ei o zi. 8 A doua zi, am plecat şi am ajuns la Cezareea. Am intrat în casa lui Filip evanghelistul(D), care(E) era unul din cei şapte, şi am găzduit la el. 9 El avea patru fete fecioare care(F) proroceau. 10 Fiindcă stăteam de mai multe zile acolo, un proroc numit Agab(G) s-a pogorât din Iudeea 11 şi a venit la noi. A luat brâul lui Pavel, şi-a legat picioarele şi mâinile şi a zis: „Iată ce zice Duhul Sfânt: ‘Aşa(H) vor lega iudeii în Ierusalim pe omul acela al cui este brâul acesta şi-l vor da în mâinile neamurilor’.” 12 Când am auzit lucrul acesta, atât noi, cât şi cei de acolo am rugat pe Pavel să nu se suie la Ierusalim. 13 Atunci, Pavel a răspuns: „Ce(I) faceţi de plângeţi aşa şi-mi rupeţi inima? Eu sunt gata nu numai să fiu legat, dar chiar să şi mor în Ierusalim pentru Numele Domnului Isus.” 14 Dacă am văzut că nu-l putem îndupleca, n-am mai stăruit şi am zis: „Facă-se voia(J) Domnului!” 15 După zilele acelea, ne-am pregătit de plecare şi ne-am suit la Ierusalim. 16 Câţiva ucenici din Cezareea au venit şi ei cu noi şi ne-au dus la unul numit Mnason, din Cipru, vechi ucenic, la care aveam să găzduim.

17 Când(K) am ajuns la Ierusalim, fraţii ne-au primit cu bucurie. 18 A doua zi, Pavel a mers cu noi la Iacov(L) şi toţi prezbiterii s-au adunat acolo. 19 După ce le-a dat ziua bună, le-a istorisit(M) cu de-amănuntul ce făcuse Dumnezeu în mijlocul neamurilor prin(N) slujba lui. 20 Când l-au auzit, au proslăvit pe Dumnezeu. Apoi, i-au zis: „Vezi, frate, câte mii de iudei au crezut şi toţi sunt plini de râvnă(O) pentru Lege. 21 Dar ei au auzit despre tine că înveţi pe toţi iudeii care trăiesc printre neamuri să se lepede de Moise, că le zici să nu-şi taie copiii împrejur şi să nu trăiască potrivit cu obiceiurile. 22 Ce este de făcut? Negreşit, mulţimea are să se adune, căci vor auzi că ai venit. 23 Deci, fă ce-ţi vom spune noi. Avem aici patru bărbaţi, care au făcut o juruinţă. 24 Ia-i cu tine, curăţă-te împreună cu ei şi cheltuieşte tu pentru ei, ca să-şi radă(P) capul. Şi astfel vor cunoaşte toţi că nu este nimic adevărat din cele ce au auzit despre tine, ci că şi tu umbli întocmai după rânduială şi păzeşti Legea. 25 Cu privire la neamurile care au crezut, noi(Q) am hotărât şi le-am scris că trebuie să se ferească de lucrurile jertfite idolilor, de sânge, de dobitoace sugrumate şi de curvie.” 26 Atunci, Pavel a luat pe oamenii aceia, s-a curăţit şi a(R) intrat cu ei a doua zi în Templu, ca să vestească(S) sfârşitul zilelor curăţirii când se va aduce jertfă pentru fiecare din ei.

27 Către sfârşitul celor şapte zile, iudeii(T) din Asia, când au văzut pe Pavel în Templu, au întărâtat tot norodul, au(U) pus mâinile pe el 28 şi au început să strige: „Bărbaţi israeliţi, daţi ajutor! Iată omul care(V) propovăduieşte pretutindeni şi în toată lumea împotriva norodului, împotriva Legii şi împotriva locaşului acestuia, ba încă a vârât şi pe nişte greci în Templu şi a spurcat acest locaş sfânt.” 29 În adevăr, văzuseră mai înainte pe Trofim(W) efeseanul, împreună cu el în cetate, şi credeau că Pavel îl băgase în Templu. 30 Toată cetatea s-a pus în mişcare(X) şi s-a strâns norodul din toate părţile. Au pus mâna pe Pavel şi l-au scos din Templu, ale cărui uşi au fost încuiate îndată. 31 Pe când încercau să-l omoare, s-a dus vestea la căpitanul oastei că tot Ierusalimul s-a tulburat. 32 Acesta(Y) a luat îndată ostaşi şi sutaşi şi a alergat la ei. Când au văzut pe căpitan şi pe ostaşi, au încetat să mai bată pe Pavel. 33 Atunci, căpitanul s-a apropiat, a(Z) pus mâna pe el şi a poruncit să-l lege cu două lanţuri. Apoi a întrebat cine este şi ce a făcut. 34 Dar unii strigau într-un fel, alţii într-alt fel prin mulţime. Fiindcă nu putea deci să înţeleagă adevărul din pricina zarvei, a poruncit să-l ducă în cetăţuie. 35 Când a ajuns pe trepte, Pavel a trebuit să fie dus de ostaşi din pricina îmbulzelii norodului întărâtat, 36 căci mulţimea norodului se ţinea după el şi striga: „La moarte(AA) cu el!”

37 Tocmai când era să fie băgat în cetăţuie, Pavel a zis căpitanului: „Îmi este îngăduit să-ţi spun ceva?” Căpitanul a răspuns: „Ştii greceşte? 38 Nu cumva(AB) eşti egipteanul acela care s-a răsculat acum în urmă şi a dus în pustie pe cei patru mii de tâlhari?” 39 „Eu(AC) sunt iudeu”, a spus Pavel, „din Tarsul din Cilicia, cetăţean al unei cetăţi nu fără însemnătate. Te rog, dă-mi voie să vorbesc norodului.” 40 După ce i-a dat voie căpitanul, Pavel a stat în picioare pe trepte şi a(AD) făcut semn norodului cu mâna. S-a făcut o mare tăcere, şi Pavel le-a vorbit în limba evreiască astfel:

On to Jerusalem
21 After we(A) had torn ourselves away from them, we put out to sea and sailed straight to Kos. The next day we went to Rhodes and from there to Patara. 2 We found a ship crossing over to Phoenicia,(B) went on board and set sail. 3 After sighting Cyprus and passing to the south of it, we sailed on to Syria.(C) We landed at Tyre, where our ship was to unload its cargo. 4 We sought out the disciples(D) there and stayed with them seven days. Through the Spirit(E) they urged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem. 5 When it was time to leave, we left and continued on our way. All of them, including wives and children, accompanied us out of the city, and there on the beach we knelt to pray.(F) 6 After saying goodbye to each other, we went aboard the ship, and they returned home.
7 We continued our voyage from Tyre(G) and landed at Ptolemais, where we greeted the brothers and sisters(H) and stayed with them for a day. 8 Leaving the next day, we reached Caesarea(I) and stayed at the house of Philip(J) the evangelist,(K) one of the Seven. 9 He had four unmarried daughters who prophesied.(L)
10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus(M) came down from Judea. 11 Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says,(N) ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind(O) the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”(P)
12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die(Q) in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”(R) 14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up(S) and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”(T)
15 After this, we started on our way up to Jerusalem.(U) 16 Some of the disciples from Caesarea(V) accompanied us and brought us to the home of Mnason, where we were to stay. He was a man from Cyprus(W) and one of the early disciples.
Paul’s Arrival at Jerusalem
17 When we arrived at Jerusalem, the brothers and sisters(X) received us warmly.(Y) 18 The next day Paul and the rest of us went to see James,(Z) and all the elders(AA) were present. 19 Paul greeted them and reported in detail what God had done among the Gentiles(AB) through his ministry.(AC)
20 When they heard this, they praised God. Then they said to Paul: “You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews have believed, and all of them are zealous(AD) for the law.(AE) 21 They have been informed that you teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn away from Moses,(AF) telling them not to circumcise their children(AG) or live according to our customs.(AH) 22 What shall we do? They will certainly hear that you have come, 23 so do what we tell you. There are four men with us who have made a vow.(AI) 24 Take these men, join in their purification rites(AJ) and pay their expenses, so that they can have their heads shaved.(AK) Then everyone will know there is no truth in these reports about you, but that you yourself are living in obedience to the law. 25 As for the Gentile believers, we have written to them our decision that they should abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality.”(AL)
26 The next day Paul took the men and purified himself along with them. Then he went to the temple to give notice of the date when the days of purification would end and the offering would be made for each of them.(AM)
Paul Arrested
27 When the seven days were nearly over, some Jews from the province of Asia saw Paul at the temple. They stirred up the whole crowd and seized him,(AN) 28 shouting, “Fellow Israelites, help us! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our people and our law and this place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place.”(AO) 29 (They had previously seen Trophimus(AP) the Ephesian(AQ) in the city with Paul and assumed that Paul had brought him into the temple.)
30 The whole city was aroused, and the people came running from all directions. Seizing Paul,(AR) they dragged him(AS) from the temple, and immediately the gates were shut. 31 While they were trying to kill him, news reached the commander of the Roman troops that the whole city of Jerusalem was in an uproar. 32 He at once took some officers and soldiers and ran down to the crowd. When the rioters saw the commander and his soldiers, they stopped beating Paul.(AT)
33 The commander came up and arrested him and ordered him to be bound(AU) with two(AV) chains.(AW) Then he asked who he was and what he had done. 34 Some in the crowd shouted one thing and some another,(AX) and since the commander could not get at the truth because of the uproar, he ordered that Paul be taken into the barracks.(AY) 35 When Paul reached the steps,(AZ) the violence of the mob was so great he had to be carried by the soldiers. 36 The crowd that followed kept shouting, “Get rid of him!”(BA)
Paul Speaks to the Crowd(BB)
37 As the soldiers were about to take Paul into the barracks,(BC) he asked the commander, “May I say something to you?”
“Do you speak Greek?” he replied. 38 “Aren’t you the Egyptian who started a revolt and led four thousand terrorists out into the wilderness(BD) some time ago?”(BE)
39 Paul answered, “I am a Jew, from Tarsus(BF) in Cilicia,(BG) a citizen of no ordinary city. Please let me speak to the people.”
40 After receiving the commander’s permission, Paul stood on the steps and motioned(BH) to the crowd. When they were all silent, he said to them in Aramaic[a]:(BI)

2 And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth.
3 Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.
4 And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.
5 And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.
6 And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again.
7 And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.
8 And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.
9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.
10 And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.
11 And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
12 And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
14 And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.
15 And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.
16 There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.
17 And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.
18 And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.
19 And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.
20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:
21 And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
22 What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.
23 Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;
24 Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.
25 As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.
26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.
27 And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,
28 Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
29 (For they had seen before with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.)
30 And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.
31 And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.
32 Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.
33 Then the chief captain came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was, and what he had done.
34 And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the castle.
35 And when he came upon the stairs, so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people.
36 For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him.
37 And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek?
38 Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?
39 But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
40 And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,
