8 以法蓮與偶像還有甚麼關係呢？

答允他的是我，看顧他的也是我。

我像一棵青翠的松樹，

你的果子是從我而得。”

9 誰是智慧人，讓他明白這些事吧！

誰是有見識的人，讓他領會這一切吧！

因為耶和華的道路是正直的，

義人要行在其中，

惡人卻必在其上絆倒。

New International Version

8 Ephraim, what more have I[a] to do with idols?(A)
    I will answer him and care for him.
I am like a flourishing juniper;(B)
    your fruitfulness comes from me.”

9 Who is wise?(C) Let them realize these things.
    Who is discerning? Let them understand.(D)
The ways of the Lord are right;(E)
    the righteous walk(F) in them,
    but the rebellious stumble in them.
