14 所以耶和华特意使这灾祸临到我们，耶和华—我们的 神在他所行的事上都是公义的；我们并没有听从他的话。 15 主—我们的 神啊，你曾用大能的手领你的子民出埃及地，使自己得了名声，正如今日一样，现在，我们犯了罪，作了恶。 16 主啊，求你按你丰盛的公义，使你的怒气和愤怒转离你的城耶路撒冷，就是你的圣山。因我们的罪恶和我们祖先的罪孽，耶路撒冷和你的子民被四围的人羞辱。

Daniel 9:14-16
King James Version
14 Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
15 And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16 O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
