12 “那时保护你同胞的伟大护卫天使米迦勒必站起来；并且必有患难的时期，是立国以来直到那时未曾有过的。那时你的同胞中名字记录在册上的，都必得拯救。 2 必有许多睡在尘土中的人醒过来，有的要得永生，有的要受羞辱，永远被憎恶。 3 那些有智慧的必发光，好象穹苍的光体；那些使许多人归义的必发光，如同星星，直到永永远远。 4 但以理啊！你要隐藏这些话，把这书密封，直到末期，必有许多人来往奔跑，知识增多。”

The Time of the End
12 “At that time shall arise (A)Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And (B)there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, (C)everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of those who (D)sleep in (E)the dust of the earth shall (F)awake, (G)some to everlasting life, and (H)some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 (I)And those who are wise (J)shall shine like the brightness of the sky above;[a] and (K)those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, (L)shut up the words and (M)seal the book, until (N)the time of the end. (O)Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on (P)this bank of the stream and one on that bank of the stream. 6 And someone said to (Q)the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream,[b] (R)“How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?” 7 And I heard (S)the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; (T)he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and (U)swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a (V)time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of (W)the power of (X)the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished. 8 I heard, (Y)but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?” 9 He said, (Z)“Go your way, Daniel, (AA)for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 (AB)Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but (AC)the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, (AD)but those who are wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that (AE)the regular burnt offering is taken away and (AF)the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days. 12 (AG)Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days. 13 (AH)But go your way till the end. (AI)And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at (AJ)the end of the days.”

Os tempos do fim
12 Nesse tempo, se levantará Miguel, o poderoso príncipe que protege a tua nação. Haverá um tempo de angústia para os judeus, maior do que qualquer outro período de angústia na história de Israel. Mas todos aqueles cujos nomes estão escritos no livro serão libertados. 2 Muitos daqueles cujos corpos jazem mortos, enterrados, ressuscitarão, uns para a vida eterna, outros para a vergonha e desprezo eternos. 3 Os entendidos brilharão como o resplendor do Sol, no firmamento. Os que ensinam a muitos a justiça refulgirão como estrelas para sempre. 4 Mas tu, Daniel, não dês esta profecia a conhecer a ninguém! Sela-a para que não seja revelada até ao tempo final, quando a deslocação de pessoas de uma para outra parte do mundo, assim como o conhecimento entre os homens, tiverem aumentado grandemente!”
5 Então eu, Daniel, olhei e vi outros dois seres em cada margem do rio. 6 Um deles perguntou àquele que estava vestido de linho e que se encontrava sobre as águas do rio: “Quanto tempo haverá até que se cumpram todas essas coisas espantosas?”
7 O outro respondeu, levantando as mãos para os céus e jurando por aquele que vive por toda a eternidade, que estas coisas não serão cumpridas até que três anos e meio se completem, depois de terminar a perseguição contra o povo santo. Depois tudo estará terminado.
8 Ouvi aquilo que ele disse, mas não percebi. Por isso, perguntei: “Senhor, como será que isto tudo vai acontecer?”
9 “Podes retirar-te, Daniel, porque aquilo que expus não é para ser compreendido antes do tempo do fim. 10 Muitos serão colocados à prova e assim purificados e aperfeiçoados. Contudo, os perversos continuarão na sua perversidade e não entenderão coisa nenhuma. Só os que desejam mesmo aprender virão a saber o significado disso.
11 Desde o momento em que o sacrifício contínuo for proibido e instalada a abominação que causa a desolação, a fim de ser adorada, decorrerão 1290 dias. 12 Felizes aqueles que esperam e chegam aos 1335 dias!
13 Quanto a ti, persevera até ao fim da tua vida e depois repousarás. Porque ressuscitarás e terás a tua recompensa nos últimos dias.”
