⁹年輕人哪！你在幼年時要快樂，在壯年的日子，要使你的心歡暢；順著你心所願的，眼所見的去行。不過，你要知道，為了這一切事，　神必審問你。 ¹⁰所以你當除掉心中的煩惱，除去肉體的疾苦，因為無論是幼年或是壯年，都是虛空的。

Ecclesiastes 11:9-10

New International Version

⁹You who are young, be happy while you are young,
    and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth.
Follow the ways of your heart
    and whatever your eyes see,
but know that for all these things
    God will bring you into judgment.^(A)
¹⁰So then, banish anxiety^(B) from your heart
    and cast off the troubles of your body,
    for youth and vigor are meaningless.^(C)
