　神懲罰罪過

65 沒有求問我的，我讓他們尋著；

沒有尋找我的，我讓他們遇見。

沒有呼求我名的國，

我對他們說：“我在這裡！我在這裡！”

²我整天向著悖逆的子民伸開雙手，

他們隨著自己的意念行不善的道。

³這人民常常當面惹我發怒，

在園中獻祭，在磚壇上燒香，

⁴坐在墳墓之間，在隱密處過夜，吃豬肉，

他們的器皿中有不潔之物作的湯，

⁵並且對人說：“你站遠一點！不要挨近我，

因為我會使你聖潔。”

主說：“這些人是我鼻中的煙，

是整天燒著的火。

⁶看哪！這都寫在我面前，

我必不緘默不言，我非報應不可，

我必報應在他們的懷中。

⁷我要同時報應你們的罪孽和你們列祖的罪孽，這是耶和華說的，

因為他們曾在山上燒過香，

在岡陵上譏笑過我，

我必把他們以前所行的量在他們的懷中。”

餘民必蒙恩福

⁸耶和華這樣說：

“人怎樣發現纍纍葡萄中有新酒的時候，

就說：‘不要毀滅它，因為有好處在裡面’，

我因我的眾僕人的緣故也必照樣而行，

不把它們全都毀滅。

⁹我要從雅各中領出後裔，

從猶大中領出承受我眾山的；

我揀選的人必承受那地為業，

我的眾僕人必在那裡居住。

¹⁰沙崙平原必成為羊群的牧場，

亞割谷要成為牛群躺臥之處，

都為那些尋求我的子民所得。

善惡結局不同

¹¹“但至於你們，你們這些離棄耶和華的，

忘記我的聖山的，

為迦得神擺設筵席的，

給彌尼神盛滿調和之酒的，

¹²我要命定你們歸在刀下，

你們眾人都要屈身被殺；

因為我呼喚，你們不回答；

我說話，你們都不聽。

反倒行我眼中看為惡的事，

揀選我不喜悅的事。”

¹³因此主耶和華這樣說：

“看哪！我的眾僕人必有吃的，你們卻要飢餓；

看哪！我的僕人必有喝的，你們卻要口渴；

看哪！我的僕人必要歡喜，你們卻要蒙羞；

¹⁴看哪！我的僕人必因心裡高興而歡呼，

你們卻要因心中傷痛而哀叫，

因靈裡破碎而哀號。

¹⁵你們必留下自己的名，作我選民的咒語；

主耶和華必殺死你們，

必用另外的名去稱呼他自己的僕人。

¹⁶所以，在地上為自己求福的，

必憑著真實的　神求福；

在地上起誓的，

必憑著真實的　神起誓。

因為先前的患難都已經被人忘記了，

也從我的眼前隱藏了。

新天新地

¹⁷“看哪！我要創造新天新地；

先前的事不再被人記念，也不再湧上心頭了。

¹⁸你們要因我所創造的永遠歡喜快樂；

因為我創造耶路撒冷成為快樂，

使她的居民歡樂。

¹⁹我必因耶路撒冷快樂，因我的子民歡喜；

他們中間必不再聽到哭泣的聲音，

也不再聽到哀號的聲音。

²⁰那裡必再沒有數日夭折的嬰孩，

也沒有不滿壽數的老人；

因為百歲而死的人，仍算是年輕人；

有活不到百歲而死的人

算是被咒詛的。

²¹他們必建造房屋，住在其中；

他們必栽種葡萄園，吃其中的果子。

²²他們不建造由別人來居住的房屋；

他們不栽種由別人來享用的葡萄園；

因為我的子民的日子必像樹木的日子；

我的選民必充分享用他們親手作工得來的。

²³他們必不徒然勞碌，

他們生孩子不再受驚嚇，

因為他們都是蒙耶和華賜福的後裔，

他們的子孫也跟他們一樣。

²⁴那時，他們還未呼求，我就應允，

他們還在說話，我就垂聽。

²⁵豺狼必與羊羔在一起吃東西，

獅子要像牛一樣吃草，

蛇必以塵土為食物。

在我聖山的各處，

牠們都必不作惡，也不害物；

這是耶和華說的。”

New International Version

Judgment and Salvation

65 “I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me;
    I was found by those who did not seek me.^(A)
To a nation^(B) that did not call on my name,^(C)
    I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’
²All day long I have held out my hands
    to an obstinate people,^(D)
who walk in ways not good,
    pursuing their own imaginations^(E)—
³a people who continually provoke me
    to my very face,^(F)
offering sacrifices in gardens^(G)
    and burning incense^(H) on altars of brick;
⁴who sit among the graves^(I)
    and spend their nights keeping secret vigil;
who eat the flesh of pigs,^(J)
    and whose pots hold broth of impure meat;
⁵who say, ‘Keep away; don’t come near me,
    for I am too sacred^(K) for you!’
Such people are smoke^(L) in my nostrils,
    a fire that keeps burning all day.

⁶“See, it stands written before me:
    I will not keep silent^(M) but will pay back^(N) in full;
    I will pay it back into their laps^(O)—
⁷both your sins^(P) and the sins of your ancestors,”^(Q)
    says the Lord.
“Because they burned sacrifices on the mountains
    and defied me on the hills,^(R)
I will measure into their laps
    the full payment^(S) for their former deeds.”

⁸This is what the Lord says:

“As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes^(T)
    and people say, ‘Don’t destroy it,
    there is still a blessing in it,’
so will I do in behalf of my servants;^(U)
    I will not destroy them all.
⁹I will bring forth descendants^(V) from Jacob,
    and from Judah those who will possess^(W) my mountains;
my chosen^(X) people will inherit them,
    and there will my servants live.^(Y)
¹⁰Sharon^(Z) will become a pasture for flocks,^(AA)
    and the Valley of Achor^(AB) a resting place for herds,
    for my people who seek^(AC) me.

¹¹“But as for you who forsake^(AD) the Lord
    and forget my holy mountain,^(AE)
who spread a table for Fortune
    and fill bowls of mixed wine^(AF) for Destiny,
¹²I will destine you for the sword,^(AG)
    and all of you will fall in the slaughter;^(AH)
for I called but you did not answer,^(AI)
    I spoke but you did not listen.^(AJ)
You did evil in my sight
    and chose what displeases me.”^(AK)

¹³Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“My servants will eat,^(AL)
    but you will go hungry;^(AM)
my servants will drink,^(AN)
    but you will go thirsty;^(AO)
my servants will rejoice,^(AP)
    but you will be put to shame.^(AQ)
¹⁴My servants will sing^(AR)
    out of the joy of their hearts,
but you will cry out^(AS)
    from anguish of heart
    and wail in brokenness of spirit.
¹⁵You will leave your name
    for my chosen ones to use in their curses;^(AT)
the Sovereign Lord will put you to death,
    but to his servants he will give another name.^(AU)
¹⁶Whoever invokes a blessing^(AV) in the land
    will do so by the one true God;^(AW)
whoever takes an oath in the land
    will swear^(AX) by the one true God.
For the past troubles^(AY) will be forgotten
    and hidden from my eyes.

New Heavens and a New Earth

¹⁷“See, I will create
    new heavens and a new earth.^(AZ)
The former things will not be remembered,^(BA)
    nor will they come to mind.
¹⁸But be glad and rejoice^(BB) forever
    in what I will create,
for I will create Jerusalem^(BC) to be a delight
    and its people a joy.
¹⁹I will rejoice^(BD) over Jerusalem
    and take delight^(BE) in my people;
the sound of weeping and of crying^(BF)
    will be heard in it no more.

²⁰“Never again will there be in it
    an infant^(BG) who lives but a few days,
    or an old man who does not live out his years;^(BH)
the one who dies at a hundred
    will be thought a mere child;
the one who fails to reach^[a] a hundred
    will be considered accursed.
²¹They will build houses^(BI) and dwell in them;
    they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.^(BJ)
²²No longer will they build houses and others live in them,^(BK)
    or plant and others eat.
For as the days of a tree,^(BL)
    so will be the days^(BM) of my people;
my chosen^(BN) ones will long enjoy
    the work of their hands.
²³They will not labor in vain,^(BO)
    nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune;^(BP)
for they will be a people blessed^(BQ) by the Lord,
    they and their descendants^(BR) with them.
²⁴Before they call^(BS) I will answer;^(BT)
    while they are still speaking^(BU) I will hear.
²⁵The wolf and the lamb^(BV) will feed together,
    and the lion will eat straw like the ox,^(BW)
    and dust will be the serpent’s^(BX) food.
They will neither harm nor destroy
    on all my holy mountain,”^(BY)
says the Lord.

The Righteousness of God’s Judgment

65 “I was ^(A)sought by those who did not ask for Me;
I was found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’
To a nation that ^(B)was not called by My name.
²^(C)I have stretched out My hands all day long to a ^(D)rebellious people,
Who ^(E)walk in a way that is not good,
According to their own thoughts;
³A people ^(F)who provoke Me to anger continually to My face;
^(G)Who sacrifice in gardens,
And burn incense on altars of brick;
⁴^(H)Who sit among the graves,
And spend the night in the tombs;
^(I)Who eat swine’s flesh,
And the broth of ^[a]abominable things is in their vessels;
⁵^(J)Who say, ‘Keep to yourself,
Do not come near me,
For I am holier than you!’
These ^[b]are smoke in My nostrils,
A fire that burns all the day.

⁶“Behold, ^(K)it is written before Me:
^(L)I will not keep silence, ^(M)but will repay—
Even repay into their bosom—
⁷Your iniquities and ^(N)the iniquities of your fathers together,”
Says the Lord,
^(O)“Who have burned incense on the mountains
^(P)And blasphemed Me on the hills;
Therefore I will measure their former work into their bosom.”

⁸Thus says the Lord:

“As the new wine is found in the cluster,
And one says, ‘Do not destroy it,
For ^(Q)a blessing is in it,’
So will I do for My servants’ sake,
That I may not destroy them ^(R)all.
⁹I will bring forth descendants from Jacob,
And from Judah an heir of My mountains;
My ^(S)elect shall inherit it,
And My servants shall dwell there.
¹⁰^(T)Sharon shall be a fold of flocks,
And ^(U)the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down,
For My people who have ^(V)sought Me.

¹¹“But you are those who forsake the Lord,
Who forget ^(W)My holy mountain,
Who prepare ^(X)a table for ^[c]Gad,
And who furnish a drink offering for ^[d]Meni.
¹²Therefore I will number you for the sword,
And you shall all bow down to the slaughter;
^(Y)Because, when I called, you did not answer;
When I spoke, you did not hear,
But did evil before My eyes,
And chose that in which I do not delight.”

¹³Therefore thus says the Lord God:

“Behold, My servants shall eat,
But you shall be hungry;
Behold, My servants shall drink,
But you shall be thirsty;
Behold, My servants shall rejoice,
But you shall be ashamed;
¹⁴Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart,
But you shall cry for sorrow of heart,
And ^(Z)wail for ^[e]grief of spirit.
¹⁵You shall leave your name ^(AA)as a curse to ^(AB)My chosen;
For the Lord God will slay you,
And ^(AC)call His servants by another name;
¹⁶^(AD)So that he who blesses himself in the earth
Shall bless himself in the God of truth;
And ^(AE)he who swears in the earth
Shall swear by the God of truth;
Because the former troubles are forgotten,
And because they are hidden from My eyes.

The Glorious New Creation

¹⁷“For behold, I create ^(AF)new heavens and a new earth;
And the former shall not be remembered or ^[f]come to mind.
¹⁸But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create;
For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing,
And her people a joy.
¹⁹^(AG)I will rejoice in Jerusalem,
And joy in My people;
The ^(AH)voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her,
Nor the voice of crying.

²⁰“No more shall an infant from there live but a few days,
Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days;
For the child shall die one hundred years old,
^(AI)But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
²¹^(AJ)They shall build houses and inhabit them;
They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
²²They shall not build and another inhabit;
They shall not plant and ^(AK)another eat;
For ^(AL)as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people,
