7 用炭沾我的口，说：“看哪，这炭沾了你的嘴唇，你的罪孽便除掉，你的罪恶就赦免了。” 8 我听见主的声音说：“我可以差遣谁呢？谁肯为我们去呢？”我说：“我在这里，请差遣我！” 9 他说：“你去告诉这百姓说：
‘你们听了又听，却不明白；
看了又看，却不晓得。’

7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips;(A) your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.(B)”
8 Then I heard the voice(C) of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send?(D) And who will go for us?(E)”
And I said, “Here am I.(F) Send me!”
9 He said, “Go(G) and tell this people:
“‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding;
be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’(H)
