¹⁵ So people will be brought low^(A)
    and everyone humbled,^(B)
    the eyes of the arrogant^(C) humbled.
¹⁶ But the Lord Almighty will be exalted^(D) by his justice,^(E)
    and the holy God will be proved holy^(F) by his righteous acts.
¹⁷ Then sheep will graze as in their own pasture;^(G)
    lambs will feed^[a] among the ruins of the rich.

¹⁸ Woe^(H) to those who draw sin along with cords^(I) of deceit,
    and wickedness^(J) as with cart ropes,
¹⁹ to those who say, “Let God hurry;
    let him hasten^(K) his work
    so we may see it.
The plan of the Holy One^(L) of Israel—
    let it approach, let it come into view,
    so we may know it.”^(M)

²⁰ Woe^(N) to those who call evil good^(O)
    and good evil,^(P)
who put darkness for light
    and light for darkness,^(Q)
who put bitter for sweet
    and sweet for bitter.^(R)
