¹⁸ I will make rivers flow^(A) on barren heights,
    and springs within the valleys.
I will turn the desert^(B) into pools of water,^(C)
    and the parched ground into springs.^(D)
19 I will put in the desert^(E)
    the cedar and the acacia,^(F) the myrtle and the olive.
I will set junipers^(G) in the wasteland,
    the fir and the cypress^(H) together,^(I)
20 so that people may see and know,^(J)
    may consider and understand,^(K)
that the hand^(L) of the Lord has done this,
    that the Holy One^(M) of Israel has created^(N) it.
