18 我要在光秃的高地开江河，
在谷中开泉源；
我要使沙漠变为水池，
使干地变为涌泉。
19 我要在旷野栽植香柏树、
皂荚树、番石榴树，和野橄榄树。
在沙漠一同栽上松树、杉树，
和黄杨树，
20 好叫人看见，知道，
思想，明白；
这是耶和华亲手做的，
是以色列的圣者所造的。

我要使沙漠变成水塘，
使干地冒出泉水。
19 我要在旷野栽香柏树、
皂荚树、番石榴树和橄榄树。
我要在沙漠种松树、杉树和黄杨树。
20 人一看就知道，
一想就明白，
这是耶和华亲手成就的，
是以色列的圣者创造的。”

18 I will make rivers flow(A) on barren heights,
and springs within the valleys.
I will turn the desert(B) into pools of water,(C)
and the parched ground into springs.(D)
19 I will put in the desert(E)
the cedar and the acacia,(F) the myrtle and the olive.
I will set junipers(G) in the wasteland,
the fir and the cypress(H) together,(I)
20 so that people may see and know,(J)
may consider and understand,(K)
that the hand(L) of the Lord has done this,
that the Holy One(M) of Israel has created(N) it.
