犹大的凯歌
26 到那日，犹大境内的人必唱这首歌：
“我们有一座坚城，
耶和华使祂的拯救成为保护我们的城墙和屏障。
2 打开城门，
让忠信的公义之民进来。
3 你使坚信不移的人全然平安，
因为他们信靠你。
4 要永远信靠耶和华，
因为耶和华是永远屹立的磐石。
5 祂贬抑高傲的人，
拆毁他们高耸的城邑，
把它们夷为平地、化为尘土，
6 被困苦人的脚践踏，被贫穷人的足踩踏。”
7 义人的道路是平坦的，
公正的主啊，你必修平义人所走的道路。
8 耶和华啊，我们等候你，
遵从你的法令，
我们心里渴慕尊崇你的名。
9 在夜间，我思慕你，
我切切地寻求你。
你在世上施行审判的时候，
世人就知道何为公义。
10 你恩待恶人，
但他们仍然不学习行义。
即使在公义之地，
他们依然作恶，
全不把耶和华的威严放在眼里。
11 你惩罚的手高高举起，
他们却看不见。
愿他们因看见你向你子民所发的热心而感到羞愧。
愿你为敌人预备的火烧灭他们。
12 耶和华啊，你必赐我们平安，
因为我们所做的事都是你为我们成就的。
13 我们的上帝耶和华啊！
在你以外曾有别的主人管辖我们，
但我们只尊崇你的名。
14 他们都已死去，再不能复生，
逝去的灵魂不能回来。
因为你惩罚他们，毁灭他们，
使他们被人彻底遗忘。
15 耶和华啊，你增添我们的人口，
增添我们的人口，
扩张我们的疆界，
你得到了荣耀。
16 耶和华啊，我们是你的子民，
我们在危难中寻求你。
你管教我们的时候，
我们就向你祈求。
17 耶和华啊，我们在你面前呼求，
如临产的妇人在阵痛中喊叫。
18 我们曾怀胎，痛苦呻吟，
但产下来的却是一阵风。
我们没有给世界带来拯救，
也没有给世上带来生命。
19 然而，属你的人必复活，
他们的尸体必站起来。
睡在尘土中的人必醒来欢唱！
你必使死人复活，
如清晨的甘露使大地恢复生机。
20 我的百姓啊，
回到你们的房子里，
关上门躲藏一会儿，
等耶和华的愤怒平息。
21 看啊，耶和华要走出祂的居所，
惩罚世上犯罪的人。
大地必不再隐藏被杀之人的尸首，
必将所流的血显露出来。

26 到那日，在猶大地必有人唱這歌：
“我們有座堅固的城；
耶和華把救恩作為城牆和外郭。
2 打開城門吧！
好讓公義和信實的國民，可以進入。
3 專心倚靠你的，你必保護他一切平安，
因為他倚靠你。
4 你們要倚靠耶和華，直到永遠，
因為耶和華是永存的磐石。
5 他使那些驕傲的降卑，使那些高聳的城敗落；
把它拆毀，散在地上，變作塵土。
6 它要被腳踐踏，
就是困苦人的腳和貧窮人的腳。
7 義人的路是正直的，
正直的主啊！你必修平義人的路。
8 耶和華啊！我們等候你那審判的路徑；
你的名字和稱號，都是我們心裡所愛慕的。
9 夜間我的心渴想你，
我裡面的靈切切尋求你，
因為你的審判臨到大地的時候，
世上的居民就會學習到甚麼是公義了。
10 惡人雖然蒙了恩待，
他仍不知道甚麼是公義；
在公義的地上，他仍然行惡，
也看不見耶和華的威嚴。
11 耶和華啊！你的手高舉，他們還是看不見。
願他們因看見你對子民的熱心而慚愧；
願那為你的敵人預備的火吞滅他們。
12 耶和華啊！你必使我們得平安，
因為我們所作的，都是你為我們成就的。
13 耶和華我們的 神啊！在你以外，
曾有別的主管轄我們，
但只有你，我們要承認你的名。
14 死去的不能再活，離世的不能再起來，
因為你懲罰他們，消滅了他們，
使他們完全不再被記念。
15 耶和華啊！你增添國民；
你增添國民，你得了榮耀，
又拓展了地的四境。
16 耶和華啊！我們在急難中尋求你；
你的懲罰臨到我們身上的時候，
我們就傾心吐意低聲禱告。
17 懷孕的婦人臨產時怎樣疼痛，
在絞痛中喊叫；
耶和華啊！我們在你面前也是這樣。
18 我們也曾像懷孕一般疼痛，
但所生的像風；
我們未曾在地上行過拯救的事，
世上的居民也未曾因我們生下來。
19 屬你的死人要活過來，
他們的屍體要起來；
那些住在塵土裡的必醒起，並且歡呼。
因為你的甘露像早晨的甘露般臨到，
使地交出離世的人來。
勸民逃避主的忿怒
20 我的子民哪！快來，進入你們的內室，
把你們的門關上；
隱藏片刻，
直到 神的忿怒過去。
21 因為你看！耶和華從他的居所出來，
要懲罰地上居民的罪孽；
大地要露出其上所流的血，

26 A song of the faithful, wherein is declared, in what consisteth the salvation of the Church, and wherein they ought to trust.
1 In that day shall [a]this song be sung in the land of Judah, We have a strong city: [b]salvation shall God set for walls and bulwarks.
2 [c]Open ye the gates that the righteous nation, which keepeth the truth, may enter in.
3 By an assured [d]purpose wilt thou preserve perfect peace, because they trusted in thee.
4 Trust in the Lord forever: for in the Lord God is strength forevermore.
5 For he will bring down them that dwell on high: [e]the high city he will abase: even unto the ground will he cast it down, and bring it unto dust.
6 The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the [f]poor, and the steps of the needy.
7 The way of the just is righteousness: thou wilt make equal the righteous path of the just.
8 Also we, O Lord, have waited for thee in the way of thy [g]judgments: the desire of our soul is to thy Name, and to the remembrance of thee.
9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night, and with my spirit within me will I seek thee in the morning: for seeing thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world shall learn [h]righteousness.
10 Let mercy [i]be showed to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he do wickedly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.
11 O Lord, they will not behold thine high hand: but they shall see it, and be confounded with [j]the zeal of the people, and the fire of thine [k]enemies shall devour them.
12 Lord unto us thou wilt ordain peace: for thou also hast wrought all our works for us.
13 O Lord our God, other [l]lords beside thee, have ruled us, but we will remember thee only, and thy Name.
14 The [m]dead shall not live, neither shall the dead arise, because thou hast visited and scattered them, and destroyed all their memory.
15 Thou hast increased [n]the nation, O Lord: thou hast increased the nation: thou art made glorious, thou hast enlarged all the coasts of the earth.
16 Lord, in trouble have they [o]visited thee: they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near to the travail, is in sorrow, and crieth in her pains, so have we been in thy [p]sight, O Lord.
18 We have conceived, we have born in pain, as though we should have brought forth [q]wind: there was no help in the earth, neither did the inhabitants of [r]the world fall.
19 ¶ [s]Thy dead men shall live: even with my body shall they rise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy [t]dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, my people: [u]enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors after thee: hide thyself for a very little while, until the indignation pass over.
21 For lo, the Lord cometh out of his place, to visit the iniquity of the inhabitants of the earth upon them: and the earth shall disclose her [v]blood, and shall no more hide her slain.

- Isaiah 26:19 He comforteth the faithful in their afflictions, showing them that even in death they shall have life: and that they should most certainly rise to glory, the contrary should come to the wicked, as verse 14.
- Isaiah 26:19 As herbs dead in winter flourisheth again by the rain in the springtime: so they that lie in the dust, shall rise up to joy, when they feel the dew of God’s grace.
- Isaiah 26:20 He exhorteth the faithful to be patient in their afflictions, and to wait upon God’s work.
- Isaiah 26:21 The earth shall vomit and cast out the innocent blood, which it hath drunk, that it may cry for vengeance against the wicked.
