25 耶和华啊，你是我的神！我要尊崇你，我要称赞你的名，因为你以忠信诚实行过奇妙的事，成就你古时所定的。

因行惩罚

²你使城变为乱堆，使坚固城变为荒场，使外邦人宫殿的城不再为城，永远不再建造。 ³所以刚强的民必荣耀你，强暴之国的城必敬畏你。 ⁴因为当强暴人催逼人的时候，如同暴风直吹墙壁，你就做贫穷人的保障，做困乏人急难中的保障，做躲暴风之处，做避炎热的阴凉。 ⁵你要压制外邦人的喧哗，好像干燥地的热气下落；禁止强暴人的凯歌，好像热气被云影消化。

因施丰美

⁶在这山上，万军之耶和华必为万民用肥甘设摆筵席，用陈酒和满髓的肥甘，并澄清的陈酒设摆筵席。 ⁷他又必在这山上，除灭遮盖万民之物和遮蔽万国蒙脸的帕子。 ⁸他已经吞灭死亡，直到永远，主耶和华必擦去各人脸上的眼泪，又除掉普天下他百姓的羞辱，因为这是耶和华说的。

因赐救恩

⁹到那日，人必说：“看哪，这是我们的神，我们素来等候他，他必拯救我们。这是耶和华，我们素来等候他，我们必因他的救恩欢喜快乐。” ¹⁰耶和华的手必按在这山上。摩押人在所居之地必被践踏，好像干草被践踏在粪池的水中。 ¹¹她必在其中伸开手，好像洑水的伸开手洑水一样，但耶和华必使她的骄傲和她手所行的诡计一并败落。 ¹²耶和华使你城上的坚固高台倾倒，拆平直到尘埃。

25 耶和華啊！你是我的上帝，我要尊崇你，讚美你的名。你信實無比，

按你古時定下的計劃行了奇妙的事。
²你使城邑淪為廢墟，
使堅壘淪為荒場。
外族人的宮殿不復存在，
永遠不能重建。
³因此，強盛的國家必頌揚你，
殘暴的民族必敬畏你。
⁴你是貧窮人的避難所，
是困苦之人患難中的避難所，
你是避風港，
是酷暑中的陰涼處。
殘暴之徒的氣息好像吹襲牆垣的暴風，
⁵又像沙漠中的熱氣。
但你平息外族人的喧嘩，
止息殘暴之徒的歌聲，
好像雲朵消去酷熱。

Good News Translation

A Hymn of Praise

25 Lord, you are my God;
    I will honor you and praise your name.
You have done amazing things;
    you have faithfully carried out
    the plans you made long ago.
²You have turned cities into ruins
    and destroyed their fortifications.
The palaces which our enemies built
    are gone forever.
³The people of powerful nations will praise you;
    you will be feared in the cities of cruel nations.
⁴The poor and the helpless have fled to you
    and have been safe in times of trouble.
You give them shelter from storms
    and shade from the burning heat.
Cruel enemies attack like a winter storm,^[a]
⁵    like drought in a dry land.
But you, Lord, have silenced our enemies;
    you silence the shouts of cruel people,
    as a cloud cools a hot day.

God Prepares a Banquet

⁶Here on Mount Zion the Lord Almighty will prepare a banquet for all the nations of the world—a banquet of the richest food and the finest wine. ⁷Here he will suddenly remove the cloud of sorrow that has been hanging over all the nations. ⁸^(A)The Sovereign Lord will destroy death forever! He will wipe away the tears from everyone's eyes and take away the disgrace his people have suffered throughout the world. The Lord himself has spoken.

⁹When it happens, everyone will say, “He is our God! We have put our trust in him, and he has rescued us. He is the Lord! We have put our trust in him, and now we are happy and joyful because he has saved us.”

God Will Punish Moab

¹⁰^(B)The Lord will protect Mount Zion, but the people of Moab will be trampled down the way straw is trampled in manure. ¹¹They will reach out their hands as if they were trying to swim, but God will humiliate them, and their hands will sink helplessly. ¹²He will destroy the fortresses of Moab with their high walls and bring them tumbling down into the dust.
