主必审判世界
24 看啊，耶和华必摧毁大地，
使大地荒凉。
祂毁坏地面，驱散万民。
2 那时，祭司和百姓，
主人和仆人，
主母和婢女，
买的和卖的，
贷的和借的，
债主和债户都必同遭厄运。
3 大地必完全毁坏，一片荒凉。
这是耶和华说的。
4 大地必衰残枯干，
世界必衰败荒凉，
世上的权贵也必败落。
5 大地被世人玷污，
他们违犯律法，
不守律例，背弃永远的约。
6 所以大地必遭受咒诅，
世人必因罪而受惩罚。
他们必被焚烧，
所剩无几。
7 葡萄树枯萎，新酒停产，
欢乐的人都发出悲叹。
8 欢快的鼓声止息，
悦耳的琴音消失，
宴乐的喧闹不复听闻。
9 再没有人对酒高歌，
浓酒变得苦涩。
10 毁坏的城一片荒凉，
家家户户大门紧闭，无人能进。
11 人们因无酒而在街上喊叫；
一切欢乐变作哀愁，
地上喜乐不复存在。
12 城里一片荒凉，
城门一片瓦砾。
13 世上万民所剩无几，
像打过的橄榄树，
又如摘过的葡萄树。
14 劫后余生的人必高声欢呼，
在西方赞美耶和华的威严。
15 因此，要在东方尊崇耶和华，
要在众海岛赞美以色列的上帝耶和华的名。
16 我们听见从地极传来歌唱声：
“荣耀归给公义者。”
我说：“我完了！
我完了！我有祸了！
因为诡诈的仍然在行诡诈，
极为猖獗。”
17 世人啊！
恐怖、陷阱和网罗要临到你们。
18 逃避恐怖的必掉进陷阱，
从陷阱爬上来的必被网罗缠住。
天上的水闸开启，
大地的根基摇动。
19 大地断裂、崩溃，剧烈震动。
20 大地像醉汉东摇西晃，
又像暴风中的茅屋摇来摆去。
它被沉重的罪恶压垮，
再也无法起来。
21 到那日，耶和华必在天上惩罚天上的众权能者，
在地上惩罚地上的君王。
22 他们必像囚犯一样被聚在一起，
关在牢里，
日后必受惩罚。
23 那时，月亮必羞于露面，
太阳必黯然无光，
因为万军之耶和华必在锡安山，
在耶路撒冷掌权，
在祂子民的首领面前彰显荣耀。

Paparusahan ni Yahweh ang Sanlibutan
24 Ang daigdig ay wawasakin ni Yahweh,
sasalantain niya ang mga lupain at pangangalatin ang mga tao.
2 Iisa ang sasapitin ng lahat—mamamayan at pari,
alipin at panginoon;
alila at may-ari ng bahay,
nagtitinda't namimili,
nangungutang at nagpapautang.
3 Mawawasak ang daigdig at wala nang papakinabangin dito;
mangyayari ito sapagkat sinabi ni Yahweh.
4 Matutuyo at malalanta ang lupa,
manghihina ang buong sanlibutan.
Ang langit at ang lupa ay mabubulok.
5 Sinira na ang daigdig ng mga naninirahan dito
dahil sinuway nila ang katuruan ng Diyos;
at nilabag ang kanyang mga utos;
winasak nila ang walang hanggang tipan.
6 Kaya susumpain ng Diyos ang daigdig,
at magdurusa ang mga tao dahil sa kanilang kasamaan,
mababawasan ang mga naninirahan sa lupa;
kaunti lamang ang matitira sa kanila.
7 Mauubos ang alak,
malalanta ang ubasan,
ang mga nagsasaya'y daranas ng kalungkutan.
8 Ang masayang tugtog ng tamburin ay hindi na maririnig;
titigil na ang ingay ng mga nagsasaya;
mapaparam ang masayang tunog ng alpa!
9 Mawawala na rin ang pag-iinuman ng alak sa saliw ng awitan,
ang alak ay magiging mapait sa panlasa.
10 Magulo ang lunsod na winasak;
ang pintuan ng bawat tahanan ay may harang upang walang makapasok.
11 Sa mga lansangan ay sumisigaw sila dahil kulang ng alak,
nawala na ang kagalakan at nauwi sa kalungkutan;
lahat ng kasayahan ay napawi sa lupa.
12 Naguho na ang buong lunsod,
ang pinto nito'y nagkadurug-durog.
13 Ganyan din ang mangyayari sa lahat ng bansa sa buong daigdig;
parang puno ng olibo matapos lagasin ang bunga,
tulad ng ubasan matapos ang anihan.
14 Silang nakaligtas ay aawit dahil sa kagalakan,
mula sa kanluran ay kanilang dadakilain si Yahweh.
15 Pupurihin siya doon sa silangan,
at ipagbubunyi ang pangalan ni Yahweh,
ang Diyos ng Israel, sa baybayin ng dagat.
16 May awit ng pagpupuring maririnig, maging sa pinakamalalayong dulo ng daigdig,
bilang papuri sa Diyos na Matuwid.
Ngunit ang sabi ko naman, “Nalulungkot ako.
Nasasayang lamang ang panahon. Wala na akong pag-asa.
Patuloy ang panlilinlang ng mga taksil.
Palala nang palala ang kanilang pagtataksil.”
17 Mga tao sa daigdig, naghihintay sa inyo
ang matinding takot, malalim na hukay, at nakaumang na bitag.
18 Sinumang tumakas dahil sa takot,
sa balong malalim, doon mahuhulog.
Pag-ahon sa balon na kinahulugan,
bitag ang siyang kasasadlakan.
Sapagkat mabubuksan ang durungawan ng langit,
at mauuga ang pundasyon ng daigdig.
19 Ang daigdig ay tuluyang mawawasak,
sa lakas ng uga ito'y mabibiyak.
20 Ang lupa'y tulad ng lasenggong pasuray-suray
at kubong maliit na hahapay-hapay,
sa bigat ng kasalanang kanyang tinataglay,
tiyak na babagsak ang sandaigdigan at hindi na babangon magpakailanman.
21 Darating ang araw na paparusahan ni Yahweh
ang hukbo ng kasamaan sa himpapawid,
gayundin ang mga hari dito sa daigdig.
22 Tulad ng mga bilanggo,
ihuhulog silang sama-sama sa isang malalim na balon;
ikukulong sila sa piitang bakal,
at paparusahan pagkaraan ng maraming araw.
23 Mawawala ang liwanag ng araw at buwan,
at maghahari si Yahweh na Makapangyarihan sa lahat,
sa Bundok ng Zion, at sa Jerusalem.
Doo'y mahahayag ang kanyang kaluwalhatian, sa harap ng mga pinuno ng bayan.

The Lord’s Devastation of the Earth
24 See, the Lord is going to lay waste the earth(A)
and devastate(B) it;
he will ruin its face
and scatter(C) its inhabitants—
2 it will be the same
for priest as for people,(D)
for the master as for his servant,
for the mistress as for her servant,
for seller as for buyer,(E)
for borrower as for lender,
for debtor as for creditor.(F)
3 The earth will be completely laid waste(G)
and totally plundered.(H)
The Lord has spoken(I) this word.
4 The earth dries up(J) and withers,(K)
the world languishes and withers,
the heavens(L) languish with the earth.(M)
5 The earth is defiled(N) by its people;
they have disobeyed(O) the laws,
violated the statutes
and broken the everlasting covenant.(P)
6 Therefore a curse(Q) consumes the earth;
its people must bear their guilt.
Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up,(R)
and very few are left.
7 The new wine dries up(S) and the vine withers;(T)
all the merrymakers groan.(U)
8 The joyful timbrels(V) are stilled,
the noise(W) of the revelers(X) has stopped,
the joyful harp(Y) is silent.(Z)
9 No longer do they drink wine(AA) with a song;
the beer is bitter(AB) to its drinkers.
10 The ruined city(AC) lies desolate;(AD)
the entrance to every house is barred.
11 In the streets they cry out(AE) for wine;(AF)
all joy turns to gloom,(AG)
all joyful sounds are banished from the earth.
12 The city is left in ruins,(AH)
its gate(AI) is battered to pieces.
13 So will it be on the earth
and among the nations,
as when an olive tree is beaten,(AJ)
or as when gleanings are left after the grape harvest.(AK)
14 They raise their voices, they shout for joy;(AL)
from the west(AM) they acclaim the Lord’s majesty.
15 Therefore in the east(AN) give glory(AO) to the Lord;
exalt(AP) the name(AQ) of the Lord, the God of Israel,
in the islands(AR) of the sea.
16 From the ends of the earth(AS) we hear singing:(AT)
“Glory(AU) to the Righteous One.”(AV)
But I said, “I waste away, I waste away!(AW)
Woe(AX) to me!
The treacherous(AY) betray!
With treachery the treacherous betray!(AZ)”
17 Terror(BA) and pit and snare(BB) await you,
people of the earth.(BC)
18 Whoever flees(BD) at the sound of terror
will fall into a pit;(BE)
whoever climbs out of the pit
will be caught in a snare.(BF)
The floodgates of the heavens(BG) are opened,
the foundations of the earth shake.(BH)
19 The earth is broken up,(BI)
the earth is split asunder,(BJ)
the earth is violently shaken.
20 The earth reels like a drunkard,(BK)
it sways like a hut(BL) in the wind;
so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion(BM)
that it falls(BN)—never to rise again.(BO)
21 In that day(BP) the Lord will punish(BQ)
the powers(BR) in the heavens above
and the kings(BS) on the earth below.
22 They will be herded together
like prisoners(BT) bound in a dungeon;(BU)
they will be shut up in prison
and be punished[a] after many days.(BV)
23 The moon will be dismayed,
the sun(BW) ashamed;
for the Lord Almighty will reign(BX)
on Mount Zion(BY) and in Jerusalem,
and before its elders—with great glory.(BZ)
