关于泰尔的预言
23 以下是关于泰尔的预言：
他施的船只哀号吧！
因为从基提[a]传来消息，
说泰尔已被毁灭，
房屋和港口都荡然无存。
2 海边的居民，西顿[b]的商贾啊，
要静默无言。
你们的商人飘洋过海，
3 把西曷的粮食、尼罗河流域的农产都运到泰尔。
泰尔成为列国的商埠。
4 西顿啊，你要羞愧！
你这海上的堡垒啊，
大海否认你，说：
“我没有经历过产痛，
没有生过孩子，
也未曾养育过儿女。”
5 埃及人听见泰尔的消息，
都感到伤痛。
6 海边的居民啊，你们要去他施！
你们要哀号！
7 这就是你们那历史悠久、
充满欢乐的城吗？
她曾经派人到远方居住。
8 泰尔曾是封王之地，
她的商贾是王侯，
她的商人名闻天下。
但她如今的遭遇是谁定的？
9 是万军之耶和华定的，
为要摧毁因荣耀而生的骄傲，
羞辱世上的尊贵者。
10 他施的人民啊，
要像尼罗河一样穿行在自己的土地上，
因为再没有人压制你们。
11 耶和华已经在大海之上伸出惩罚之手，
使列国震动。
祂已下令毁灭迦南的堡垒。
12 祂说：“受欺压的西顿人啊，
你们再也不能欢乐了！
你们就是逃到基提，
也得不到安宁。”
13 看看迦勒底人的土地，那里已杳无人烟！亚述人使它成为野兽出没之地，他们筑起围城的高台，摧毁它的宫殿，使它沦为废墟。
14 他施的船只都哀号吧！
因为你们的堡垒已被摧毁。
15 到那日，泰尔必被遗忘七十年，正好一个王的寿数。七十年之后，泰尔必如歌中所描述的妓女：
16 “被遗忘的妓女啊，
拿起琴，走遍全城。
要弹得美妙，要多唱几首歌，
好使人再记起你。”
17 那时，耶和华必眷顾泰尔。她必重操旧业，与天下万国交易。 18 但她得到的利润和收入不会被积攒或储存起来，而是要被献给耶和华，用来供应那些事奉耶和华的人，使他们吃得饱足，穿得精美。

23 Profecía contra Tiro:
Lloren, barcos de Tarsis,
porque se llevaron todo de Tiro,
ya no vive nadie ahí.
Eso les informaron mientras venían de Chipre[a].
2 Lloren, habitantes de la costa,
comerciantes de Sidón,
a quienes enriquecían los que atraviesan el mar.
3 El grano de Sijor[b] viajó sobre las aguas.
La cosecha del Nilo le dejaba ganancias
y Tiro se convirtió en centro de comercio de las naciones.
4 Que te dé vergüenza, Sidón, fortaleza del mar.
Porque el mar ha dicho:
«Yo no tengo dolores de parto, no he dado a luz;
no he criado hijos, ni educado hijas».
5 Cuando las noticias lleguen a Egipto,
todos tendrán dolor debido a lo que se diga de Tiro.
6 Crucen hasta Tarsis;
lloren, habitantes de la costa.
7 ¿Es esta la ciudad orgullosa
que fue fundada hace tanto tiempo?
De esa ciudad ha salido gente
que ha viajado para establecerse en tierras lejanas.
8 ¿Quién planeó esto contra Tiro,
la que repartía coronas?
Sus comerciantes son como príncipes,
y sus negociantes gente muy respetada en todo el mundo.
9 El SEÑOR Todopoderoso lo planeó.
Lo hizo para derribar el orgullo de toda grandeza
y humillar a la gente más importante del mundo.
10 Gente de Tarsis, dedícate a cultivar[c] tu tierra como se hace en las riberas del Nilo,
porque ya no tienes un puerto para tus naves.
11 El SEÑOR ha extendido su mano sobre el mar
y ha hecho estremecer a las naciones.
Él ha ordenado destruir las fortalezas de Canaán.
12 Ha dicho: «No te vas a alegrar más,
joven oprimida, hija de Sidón.
Levántate y cruza hasta Chipre
aunque allí tampoco habrá descanso para ti».
13 Fíjate en el país de los babilonios[d],
un pueblo que ha dejado de existir.
Asiria lo convirtió
en lugar para animales salvajes.
Construyeron torres para atacarla,
derribaron sus palacios
y los convirtieron en ruinas.
14 Lloren, barcos de Tarsis,
porque su fortaleza ha sido destruida.
15 En ese tiempo, Tiro permanecerá en el olvido por 70 años, que es el tiempo que vive un rey. Y al término de esos 70 años, le pasará a Tiro como a la prostituta de la canción:
16 «Toma un arpa, prostituta olvidada,
y camina por la ciudad.
Tócala bien, canta muchas veces tu canción
para que te recuerden».
17 Una vez que terminen los 70 años, el SEÑOR visitará a Tiro, ella volverá a su actividad comercial y será una prostituta al servicio de todos los reinos del mundo. 18 Pero las ganancias no se guardarán ni almacenarán, sino que serán dedicadas al SEÑOR. Se usarán para proveer de suficiente comida y ropa fina a los que viven en la presencia del SEÑOR.

23 Profecía contra Tiro:
¡Giman, barcos de Tarsis!,
porque fueron destruidas su casa y su puerto.
Desde la tierra de Chipre
les ha llegado la noticia.
2 ¡Callen, habitantes de la costa,
comerciantes de Sidón,
ciudad que han enriquecido los marinos!
3 Sobre las grandes aguas
llegó el grano de Sijor;
Tiro se volvió el centro comercial de las naciones;
la cosecha del Nilo le aportaba ganancias.
4 Avergüénzate, Sidón, fortaleza del mar,
porque el mar ha dicho:
«No he estado con dolores de parto ni he dado a luz;
no he criado hijos ni educado hijas».
5 Cuando la noticia llegue a Egipto,
lo que se diga de Tiro los angustiará.
6 Pasen a Tarsis;
giman, habitantes de la costa.
7 ¿Es esta su ciudad alegre,
la ciudad tan antigua,
cuyos pies la han llevado
a establecerse en tierras lejanas?
8 ¿Quién planeó esto contra Tiro,
la ciudad que confiere coronas,
cuyos comerciantes son príncipes,
y sus negociantes reconocidos en la tierra?
9 Lo planeó el Señor de los Ejércitos
para abatir la altivez de toda gloria
y humillar a toda la gente importante de la tierra.
10 Hija de Tarsis,
cultiva[a] tu tierra como en el Nilo,
porque tu puerto ya no existe.
11 El Señor ha extendido su mano sobre el mar
y ha puesto a temblar a los reinos;
ha ordenado destruir las fortalezas de Canaán.
12 Él dijo:
«¡Virgen oprimida, hija de Sidón:
no volverás a alegrarte!
»Levántate y cruza hasta Chipre;
¡ni siquiera allí encontrarás descanso!».
13 ¡Mira la tierra de los babilonios![b]
¡Ese pueblo ya no existe!
Asiria la ha convertido
en refugio de las fieras del desierto;
levantaron torres de asedio,
demolieron sus fortalezas
y las convirtieron en ruinas.
14 ¡Giman, barcos de Tarsis,
porque destruida está su fortaleza!
15 En aquel tiempo Tiro será olvidada durante setenta años, que es lo que vive un rey. Pero al cabo de esos setenta años sucederá a Tiro lo que dice la canción de la prostituta:
16 «Tú, prostituta olvidada,
toma un arpa y recorre la ciudad;
toca lo mejor que puedas y canta muchas canciones,
para que te recuerden».
17 Al cabo de setenta años, el Señor se ocupará de Tiro, la cual volverá a venderse y prostituirse con todos los reinos de la tierra. 18 Pero sus ingresos y ganancias se consagrarán al Señor; no serán almacenados ni atesorados. Sus ganancias serán para los que habitan en presencia del Señor, para que se alimenten en abundancia y se vistan con ropas finas.

23 A prophecy against Tyre:(A)
Wail,(B) you ships(C) of Tarshish!(D)
For Tyre is destroyed(E)
and left without house or harbor.
From the land of Cyprus
word has come to them.
2 Be silent,(F) you people of the island
and you merchants(G) of Sidon,(H)
whom the seafarers have enriched.
3 On the great waters
came the grain of the Shihor;(I)
the harvest of the Nile[a](J) was the revenue of Tyre,(K)
and she became the marketplace of the nations.
4 Be ashamed, Sidon,(L) and you fortress of the sea,
for the sea has spoken:
“I have neither been in labor nor given birth;(M)
I have neither reared sons nor brought up daughters.”
5 When word comes to Egypt,
they will be in anguish(N) at the report from Tyre.(O)
6 Cross over to Tarshish;(P)
wail, you people of the island.
7 Is this your city of revelry,(Q)
the old, old city,
whose feet have taken her
to settle in far-off lands?
8 Who planned this against Tyre,
the bestower of crowns,
whose merchants(R) are princes,
whose traders(S) are renowned in the earth?
9 The Lord Almighty planned(T) it,
to bring down(U) her pride in all her splendor
and to humble(V) all who are renowned(W) on the earth.
10 Till[b] your land as they do along the Nile,
Daughter Tarshish,
for you no longer have a harbor.
11 The Lord has stretched out his hand(X) over the sea
and made its kingdoms tremble.(Y)
He has given an order concerning Phoenicia
that her fortresses be destroyed.(Z)
12 He said, “No more of your reveling,(AA)
Virgin Daughter(AB) Sidon, now crushed!
“Up, cross over to Cyprus;(AC)
even there you will find no rest.”
13 Look at the land of the Babylonians,[c](AD)
this people that is now of no account!
The Assyrians(AE) have made it
a place for desert creatures;(AF)
they raised up their siege towers,(AG)
they stripped its fortresses bare
and turned it into a ruin.(AH)
15 At that time Tyre(AL) will be forgotten for seventy years,(AM) the span of a king’s life. But at the end of these seventy years, it will happen to Tyre as in the song of the prostitute:
16 “Take up a harp, walk through the city,
you forgotten prostitute;(AN)
play the harp well, sing many a song,
so that you will be remembered.”
17 At the end of seventy years,(AO) the Lord will deal with Tyre. She will return to her lucrative prostitution(AP) and will ply her trade with all the kingdoms on the face of the earth.(AQ) 18 Yet her profit and her earnings will be set apart for the Lord;(AR) they will not be stored up or hoarded. Her profits will go to those who live before the Lord,(AS) for abundant food and fine clothes.(AT)
