38 There was a chamber and its entrance by the gateposts of the gateway, where they (A)washed the burnt offering. 39 In the vestibule of the gateway were two tables on this side and two tables on that side, on which to slay the burnt offering, (B)the sin offering, and (C)the trespass offering. 40 At the outer side of the vestibule, as one goes up to the entrance of the northern gateway, were two tables; and on the other side of the vestibule of the gateway were two tables.

The Rooms for Preparing Sacrifices
38 A room with a doorway was by the portico in each of the inner gateways, where the burnt offerings(A) were washed. 39 In the portico of the gateway were two tables on each side, on which the burnt offerings,(B) sin offerings[a](C) and guilt offerings(D) were slaughtered.(E) 40 By the outside wall of the portico of the gateway, near the steps at the entrance of the north gateway were two tables, and on the other side of the steps were two tables.
