36 “人子啊，你要向以色列的山岭发预言说，‘以色列的山岭啊，你们要听耶和华的话！ 2 主耶和华这样说，仇敌说，哈哈，这古老的山峰归我们了！’ 3 所以你要发预言，宣告主耶和华这样说，‘你们被蹂躏、掠夺，归了列国所有，成了外族人的话柄和笑谈。 4 因此，以色列的山岭、溪流、幽谷、荒地、废墟以及那些被外族人掳掠和讥讽的城邑啊，你们要听主耶和华的话。’ 5 主耶和华说，‘我要在怒火中斥责列国和以东，他们幸灾乐祸，满腹愤恨，把我的土地据为己有，侵占其中的草场。’ 6 所以你要对以色列说预言，告诉以色列的山冈溪谷，耶和华这样说，‘因为你们曾遭受外族人的羞辱，我为你们满怀义愤。 7 所以我誓言要让你们四围的外族人也受羞辱。这是主耶和华说的。
8 “‘以色列的山岭啊，你们要为我的以色列子民长出枝叶，结出果子，因为他们快要回来了。 9 看啊，我要帮助你们，垂顾你们，使你们被耕种。 10 我要增加居住在你们那里的以色列人，使城邑有人居住，废墟得以重建。 11 我要使你们那里的人畜兴旺，多多繁衍，我要使人们居住在你们那里，好像以前一样，让你们比以前更兴盛。这样，你们就知道我是耶和华。 12 我要引领我的以色列子民在你们那里出入，使你们成为他们的产业，不再夺走他们的儿女。’ 13 主耶和华说，‘虽然人们说你们吞吃以色列人、夺走他们的儿女。 14 但你们今后必不再吞吃以色列人，不再夺走他们的儿女。这是主耶和华说的。 15 我必不再使你们听见外族人的辱骂和嘲笑，也不再使你们的国民丧失子女。这是主耶和华说的。’”
16 耶和华对我说： 17 “人子啊，当以色列人住在本土时，他们的恶行玷污了那里，他们的行为在我眼中就像经期的妇女一样污秽。 18 他们杀人流血，祭拜偶像，玷污了那地方，所以我要把我的烈怒倾倒在他们身上， 19 把他们驱散到列国，分散到列邦，照他们的行为报应他们。 20 他们无论分散到何处，都使我的圣名受到亵渎，因为外族人都谈论他们说，‘这些人是耶和华的子民，却不得不离开耶和华的土地。’ 21 我顾惜我的圣名，就是以色列人在所去的列国亵渎的圣名。
22 “因此，你要告诉以色列人，主耶和华这样说，‘以色列人啊，我要行这事并非因为你们的缘故，而是因为我圣名的缘故，就是你们在所去列国亵渎的圣名。 23 我要使我伟大的名，就是你们在列国中所亵渎的名，彰显它的圣洁。我要当着列国的面在你们身上彰显我的圣洁，那时他们就知道我是耶和华。这是主耶和华说的。 24 我要从列邦列国招聚你们，领你们返回故土。 25 我要在你们身上洒清水洁净你们，洗净你们所有的污秽，除掉你们心中一切的偶像。 26 我要赐你们一颗新心，把新的灵放在你们里面。我要除去你们的石心，赐给你们一颗肉心。 27 我要把我的灵放在你们里面，使你们恪守我的律例，谨遵我的典章。 28 你们必安居在我赐给你们祖先的土地上。你们要做我的子民，我要做你们的上帝。 29 我要拯救你们脱离各样的污秽之事。我要使你们五谷丰登，不让饥荒侵害你们。 30 我要使树木硕果累累，田间出产丰盛，免得你们因饥荒再被外族人讥笑。 31 那时，你们便会想起自己邪恶的行径，并因自己的罪恶和可憎行为而厌恶自己。 32 主耶和华说，你们应当知道，我这样做并不是为了你们。以色列人啊，你们应当为自己的行为抱愧蒙羞。’
33 “主耶和华说，‘在我洗净你们一切罪恶的日子，我要使你们的城邑有人居住，废墟得以重建。 34 荒凉之地必有人耕种，路人再也看不见荒地。 35 他们会说，以前的荒凉之地如今竟变得像伊甸园，被毁坏废弃的荒凉城邑已经设防，有人居住。 36 这样，你们四周其余的民族便知道我耶和华已重建毁坏之处，重新耕种荒废之地。我耶和华言出必行。’
37 “主耶和华说，‘我要再次答应以色列人的恳求，使他们的人口增加，多如羊群。 38 我要使毁坏的城邑住满人，多如耶路撒冷在节期所献上的羊群。这样，他们就知道我是耶和华。’”

Profecía sobre las montañas de Israel
36 »Tú, hijo de hombre, profetiza a los montes de Israel y diles: “Montes de Israel, escuchen la palabra del Señor. 2 Así dice el Señor y Dios: El enemigo se ha burlado de ustedes diciendo: ‘Las antiguas montañas ya son nuestras’ ”. 3 Por eso, profetiza y adviérteles que así dice el Señor y Dios: “A ustedes los han asolado y arrasado por todas partes. Se han convertido en posesión del resto de las naciones y además han sido objeto de burla y de insultos de la gente. 4 Por eso, montes de Israel, escuchen la palabra del Señor y Dios. Así habla el Señor y Dios a los montes y a las colinas, a los canales de los ríos y a los valles, a las ruinas desoladas y a los pueblos deshabitados, saqueados y escarnecidos por los pueblos vecinos. 5 Esto dice el Señor y Dios: En el ardor de mi celo me he pronunciado contra el resto de las naciones y contra todo Edom, porque con mucha alegría y malicia en su corazón[a] se han apoderado de mi tierra para destruirla y saquearla”. 6 Por eso, profetiza acerca de la tierra de Israel. Adviérteles a los montes y a las colinas, a los canales de los ríos y a los valles, que así dice el Señor y Dios: “En mi celo y en mi furor he hablado, porque ustedes han sufrido la deshonra de las naciones. 7 Por eso, así dice el Señor y Dios: Juro solemnemente con la mano en alto que las naciones vecinas también sufrirán su propia deshonra.
8 »”Ustedes, en cambio, montes de Israel, echarán ramas y producirán frutos para mi pueblo Israel, porque pronto volverán a casa. 9 Yo estoy preocupado por ustedes y los voy a proteger. Ustedes, los montes, volverán a ser sembrados y cultivados; 10 multiplicaré al pueblo de Israel. Las ciudades serán repobladas y reconstruidas las ruinas. 11 Haré que tanto los hombres como los animales se multipliquen; serán fecundos y numerosos. Los poblaré como en tiempos pasados y los haré prosperar más que antes. Entonces sabrán que yo soy el Señor. 12 Haré que mi pueblo Israel transite por el territorio de ustedes. Él te poseerá y tú serás parte de su herencia; nunca más los privarás de sus hijos.
13 »”Así dice el Señor y Dios: Por cuanto te han dicho que devoras a la gente y dejas sin hijos a tu propio pueblo, 14 el Señor y Dios afirma: Ya no devorarás más a la gente ni dejarás sin hijos a tu pueblo. 15 Nunca más te haré oír el ultraje de las naciones; no tendrás que volver a soportar los insultos de los pueblos, ni serás causa de tropiezo para tu nación, afirma el Señor y Dios”».
16 La palabra del Señor vino a mí otra vez y me dijo: 17 «Hijo de hombre, cuando los israelitas habitaban en su propia tierra, ellos mismos la contaminaron con su conducta y sus acciones. Su conducta ante mí era semejante a la impureza de una mujer en sus días de menstruación. 18 Por eso, por haber derramado tanta sangre sobre la tierra y por haberla contaminado con sus ídolos, desaté mi furor contra ellos. 19 Los dispersé entre las naciones y quedaron esparcidos entre diversos pueblos. Los juzgué según su conducta y sus acciones. 20 Pero al llegar a las distintas naciones, ellos profanaban mi santo nombre, pues se decía de ellos: “Son el pueblo del Señor, pero han tenido que abandonar su tierra”. 21 Así que tuve que defender mi santo nombre, el cual los israelitas profanaban entre las naciones por donde iban.
22 »Por eso, adviértele al pueblo de Israel que así dice el Señor y Dios: “Voy a actuar, pero no por ustedes, sino por causa de mi santo nombre, que ustedes han profanado entre las naciones por donde han ido. 23 Daré a conocer la grandeza de mi santo nombre, el cual ha sido profanado entre las naciones, el mismo que ustedes han profanado entre ellas. Cuando dé a conocer mi santidad entre ustedes, las naciones sabrán que yo soy el Señor, afirma el Señor y Dios.
24 »”Los sacaré de entre las naciones, los reuniré de entre todos los pueblos y los haré regresar a su propia tierra. 25 Los rociaré con agua pura, y quedarán purificados. Los limpiaré de todas sus impurezas e idolatrías. 26 Les daré un nuevo corazón y derramaré un espíritu nuevo entre ustedes; quitaré ese corazón de piedra que ahora tienen y les pondré un corazón de carne. 27 Infundiré mi Espíritu en ustedes y haré que sigan mis estatutos y obedezcan mis leyes. 28 Vivirán en la tierra que di a sus antepasados; ustedes serán mi pueblo y yo seré su Dios. 29 Los libraré de todas sus impurezas. Haré que tengan trigo en abundancia y no permitiré que pasen hambre. 30 Multiplicaré el fruto de los árboles y las cosechas del campo para que no sufran más entre las naciones la deshonra de pasar hambre. 31 Así se acordarán ustedes de su mala conducta y de sus acciones perversas; además, sentirán vergüenza por sus propias iniquidades y abominaciones. 32 Y quiero que sepan que esto no lo hago por consideración a ustedes, afirma el Señor y Dios. ¡Avergüéncense y humíllense por su conducta, pueblo de Israel!”.
33 »Así dice el Señor y Dios: El día que yo los purifique de todas sus iniquidades, poblaré las ciudades y reconstruiré las ruinas. 34 Se cultivará la tierra desolada; ya no estará desierta a la vista de cuantos pasan por ella. 35 Entonces se dirá: “Esta tierra, que antes yacía devastada, es ahora un jardín de Edén; las ciudades que antes estaban en ruinas, desoladas y destruidas, están ahora habitadas y fortificadas”. 36 Entonces las naciones que quedaron a su alrededor sabrán que yo, el Señor, reconstruí lo que estaba derribado y replanté lo que había quedado como desierto. Yo, el Señor, lo he dicho y lo cumpliré.
37 »Así dice el Señor y Dios: Una vez más cederé a la súplica del pueblo de Israel y haré esto por ellos: haré que su pueblo sea tan numeroso como un rebaño. 38 Tan numeroso como el rebaño para las ofrendas en Jerusalén durante las fiestas solemnes; así se llenarán de multitudes las ciudades en ruinas. Entonces sabrán que yo soy el Señor».

36 ¶ Also, thou son of man, prophesy upon the mountains of Israel and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.
2 Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Because the enemy hath said regarding you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession;
3 therefore prophesy and say, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Because they have made you desolate and swallowed you up on every side that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the Gentiles, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers and are an infamy of the people;
4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD: Thus hath the Lord GOD said to the mountains and to the hills, to the rivers and to the valleys, to the ruins and the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken which became a prey and derision to the residue of the Gentiles that are round about,
5 therefore thus hath the Lord GOD said: Surely in the fire of my jealousy I have spoken against the other Gentiles and against all Idumea, who have disputed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful desires, to cast it out for a prey.
6 Prophesy therefore upon the land of Israel and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury because ye have borne the shame of the Gentiles,
7 therefore thus hath the Lord GOD said: I have lifted up my hand, Surely the Gentiles that are about you: they shall bear their shame.
8 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to my people of Israel, for they are at hand to come.
9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown;
10 and I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the ruins shall be built.
11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall multiply and grow; and I will cause thee to dwell as was thy desire of old and will do better unto you than at your beginnings; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
12 And I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and from now on thou shalt no longer bereave them of sons.
13 Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Because they say of you, Thou land that devours up men and hast bereaved thy nations of sons,
14 therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations of sons any more, saith the Lord GOD.
15 Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the Gentiles any longer, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shalt thou cause the sons of thy inhabitants to die any longer, saith the Lord GOD.
16 ¶ And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
17 Son of man, the house of Israel which dwells in their land has defiled it with their own ways and with their works; their way was before me as the uncleanness of a menstruous woman.
18 And I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols with which they had polluted it:
19 And I scattered them among the Gentiles, and they were dispersed through the countries; according to their ways and according to their doings I judged them.
20 And when they entered unto the Gentiles, where they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD and are gone forth out of his land.
21 And it has pained me to see my holy name profaned by the house of Israel among the Gentiles where they went.
22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: I do not do this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the Gentiles, where ye went.
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the Gentiles, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the Gentiles shall know that I am the LORD, said the Lord GOD when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
24 And I will take you from among the Gentiles and gather you out of all countries and will bring you into your own land.
25 ¶ And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be cleansed from all your filthiness, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.
26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in my commandments, and ye shall keep my rights, and do them.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29 I will also keep you from all your uncleanness: and I will call to the wheat and will multiply it and lay no famine upon you.
30 I will multiply likewise the fruit of the trees, and the fruit of the fields, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the Gentiles.
31 Then ye shall remember your own evil ways and your doings that were not good and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32 Not for your sakes do I do this, said the Lord GOD, be it known unto you; be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.
33 Thus said the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities. I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be built.
34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by;
35 who said, This desolate land used to be like the garden of Eden; and these waste and desolate and ruined cities used to be fortified.
36 And the Gentiles that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD built the ruined places and planted that which was desolate; I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
37 Thus hath the Lord GOD said; I will yet be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will multiply men like flocks.
38 As the holy sheep, as the sheep of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
