16 therefore thus says the Lord God: (A)“I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the (B)Cherethites (C)and destroy the remnant of the seacoast. 17 I will (D)execute great vengeance on them with furious rebukes; (E)and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I lay My vengeance upon them.” ’ ”
