25 耶和华的话临到我说： 2 “人子啊，你要面向亚扪人说预言攻击他们， 3 说：‘你们当听主耶和华的话！主耶和华如此说：我的圣所被亵渎，以色列地变荒凉，犹大家被掳掠，那时你便因这些事说“啊哈！”。 4 所以我必将你的地交给东方人为业，他们必在你的地上安营居住，吃你的果子，喝你的奶。 5 我必使拉巴为骆驼场，使亚扪人的地为羊群躺卧之处，你们就知道我是耶和华。 6 主耶和华如此说：因你拍手顿足，以满心的恨恶向以色列地欢喜， 7 所以我伸手攻击你，将你交给列国作为掳物。我必从万民中剪除你，使你从万国中败亡。我必除灭你，你就知道我是耶和华。’
摩押西珥亦必遭报
8 “主耶和华如此说：因摩押和西珥人说‘看哪，犹大家与列国无异’， 9 所以我要破开摩押边界上的城邑，就是摩押人看为本国之荣耀的伯耶西末、巴力免、基列亭， 10 好使东方人来攻击亚扪人。我必将亚扪人之地交给他们为业，使亚扪人在列国中不再被记念。 11 我必向摩押施行审判，他们就知道我是耶和华。

Prophecy Against Ammon
25 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 (A)“Son of man, (B)set your face toward (C)the Ammonites and prophesy against them. 3 Say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God: (D)Thus says the Lord God, Because you said, (E)‘Aha!’ over my (F)sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah when they went into exile, 4 therefore behold, I am handing you over to (G)the people of the East for a possession, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings in your midst. They shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 5 I will make (H)Rabbah a (I)pasture for camels and Ammon[a] (J)a fold for flocks. (K)Then you will know that I am the Lord. 6 For thus says the Lord God: Because (L)you have clapped your hands (M)and stamped your feet and (N)rejoiced with all the (O)malice within your soul against the land of Israel, 7 therefore, behold, (P)I have stretched out my hand against you, and (Q)will hand you over as plunder to the nations. 8 “Thus says the Lord God: Because (R)Moab and (S)Seir[b] said, ‘Behold, the (T)house of Judah is like all the other nations,’ 9 therefore (U)I will lay open the flank of Moab from the cities, from its cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, (V)Beth-jeshimoth, (W)Baal-meon, and (X)Kiriathaim. 10 I will give it (Y)along with the Ammonites (Z)to the people of the East as a possession, (AA)that the Ammonites may be remembered no more among the nations, 11 (AB)and I will execute judgments upon Moab. 12 “Thus says the Lord God: Because (AD)Edom acted revengefully against the house of Judah and has grievously offended (AE)in taking vengeance on them, 13 therefore thus says the Lord God, (AF)I will stretch out my hand against Edom and cut off from it man and beast. And I will make it desolate; from (AG)Teman even to (AH)Dedan they shall fall by the sword. 14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom (AI)by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and (AJ)they shall know my vengeance, declares the Lord God.

15 “Thus says the Lord God: Because (AK)the Philistines (AL)acted revengefully and took vengeance (AM)with malice of soul to destroy in never-ending enmity, 16 therefore thus says the Lord God, (AN)Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off (AO)the Cherethites and destroy the rest of the seacoast. 17 I will execute great vengeance on them (AP)with wrathful rebukes. (AQ)Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon them.”

Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”(X)

12 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because Edom(Y) took revenge on Judah and became very guilty by doing so, 13 therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will stretch out my hand(Z) against Edom and kill both man and beast.(AA) I will lay it waste, and from Teman(AB) to Dedan(AC) they will fall by the sword.(AD) 14 I will take vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they will deal with Edom in accordance with my anger(AE) and my wrath; they will know my vengeance, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”(AF)

15 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because the Philistines(AG) acted in vengeance and took revenge with malice(AH) in their hearts, and with ancient hostility sought to destroy Judah, 16 therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am about to stretch out my hand against the Philistines,(AI) and I will wipe out the Kerethites(AJ) and destroy those remaining along the coast.(AK) 17 I will carry out great vengeance(AL) on them and punish(AM) them in my wrath. Then they will know that I am the Lord,(AN) when I take vengeance on them.(AO)’”

6 ‘For thus says the Lord God: “Because you (G)clapped your hands, stamped your feet, and (H)rejoiced in heart with all your disdain for the land of Israel, 7 indeed, therefore, I will (I)stretch out My hand against you, and give you as plunder to the nations; I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish from the countries; I will destroy you, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”
Proclamation Against Moab
8 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Because (J)Moab and (K)Seir say, ‘Look! The house of Judah is like all the nations,’ 9 therefore, behold, I will clear the territory of Moab of cities, of the cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and (L)Kirjathaim. 10 (M)To the men of the East I will give it as a possession, together with the Ammonites, that the Ammonites (N)may not be remembered among the nations. 11 And I will execute judgments upon Moab, and they shall know that I am the Lord.”
Proclamation Against Edom
12 ‘Thus says the Lord God: (O)“Because of what Edom did against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended by avenging itself on them,” 13 therefore thus says the Lord God: “I will also stretch out My hand against Edom, cut off man and beast from it, and make it desolate from Teman; [b]Dedan shall fall by the sword. 14 (P)I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel, that they may do in Edom according to My anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance,” says the Lord God.
Proclamation Against Philistia
15 ‘Thus says the Lord God: (Q)“Because (R)the Philistines dealt vengefully and took vengeance with [c]a spiteful heart, to destroy because of the [d]old hatred,” 16 therefore thus says the Lord God: (S)“I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the (T)Cherethites (U)and destroy the remnant of the seacoast. 17 I will (V)execute great vengeance on them with furious rebukes; (W)and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I lay My vengeance upon them.” ’ ”
