锈锅的比喻
24 第九年十月十日，耶和华对我说： 2 “人子啊，今天是巴比伦王围攻耶路撒冷的日子，你要记下这日子。 3 你要向叛逆的以色列人说比喻，告诉他们，主耶和华这样说，
“‘把锅放在火上，
里面倒进水，
4 把羊腿、羊肩等上好的肉块放进锅里，
让锅里盛满精选的骨头。
5 要从羊群中选一头上好的羊，
把柴堆在锅下，
烧开锅煮里面的骨头。’”
6 主耶和华说：“这像锈锅一样充满血腥的城有祸了！要把肉从这锈迹斑斑的锅中一块块地取出来。 7 这城沾满血腥，任凭受害者的血流在光秃秃的磐石上，而不是流在地上用土掩盖。 8 我任凭这城把受害者的血洒在磐石上，不加掩盖，好激起我的烈怒，使她受报应。 9 所以主耶和华说，‘血腥的城啊，你有祸了！我要预备大堆木柴， 10 添在火上，燃起旺火，把肉煮烂，加入香料，烧焦骨头。 11 然后，把倒空的锅放在炭火上烧热，把铜烧红，好熔化它的杂质，除净锈垢， 12 却徒劳无功，因为锈垢太厚，就是用火也不能清除。 13 耶路撒冷啊，淫荡使你污秽不堪，我要洁净你，你却不愿被洁净。所以，除非我向你倾尽一切愤怒，否则你的污秽将不能清除。 14 我耶和华言出必行，决不宽容，也不留情，我必照你的所作所为来审判你。’这是主耶和华说的。”
15 耶和华对我说： 16 “人子啊，我要突然夺去你心爱的人，你不可悲伤，也不可流泪哭泣。 17 你要默然哀叹，不可为死人办丧事，仍要缠着头巾，穿着鞋，不可蒙着脸，也不可吃丧家吃的饭。” 18 早晨我把这事告诉百姓，晚上我的妻子便死了。次日早晨，我便遵照耶和华的吩咐行。
19 百姓问我：“你可以告诉我们，你这样做跟我们有什么关系吗？” 20 我告诉他们：“耶和华对我说， 21 ‘你告诉以色列人，我要使我的圣所，就是你们引以为傲、眼中所爱、心里所慕的受到亵渎。你们留下的儿女必死于刀下。 22 那时，你们将像我的仆人一样不蒙脸，不吃丧家吃的饭。 23 你们仍将裹着头巾，穿着鞋，不哭泣，也不悲伤。你们必因自己的罪恶而默然叹息，逐渐灭亡。 24 以西结做的事都是你们的预兆，你们也将做他做的。当这事发生时，你们就知道我是主耶和华了。’
25 “人子啊，有一天我要夺去他们所喜悦、所夸耀、眼中所爱、心里所慕的堡垒，也要夺去他们的儿女。 26 那日，幸存的人必来告诉你这个消息。 27 那时，你必开口向那人说话，不再沉默。你必成为他们的预兆，他们就知道我是耶和华。”

24 La neuvième année, le dixième jour du dixième mois, la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
2 Fils de l'homme, mets par écrit la date de ce jour, de ce jour-ci! Le roi de Babylone s'approche de Jérusalem en ce jour même.
3 Propose une parabole à la famille de rebelles, et dis-leur: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Place, place la chaudière, et verses-y de l'eau.
4 Mets-y les morceaux, tous les bons morceaux, la cuisse, l'épaule; remplis-la des meilleurs os.
5 Choisis dans le troupeau, et entasse du bois sous la chaudière; fais bouillir à gros bouillons, et que les os qui sont dedans cuisent aussi.
6 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Malheur à la ville sanguinaire, chaudière pleine de rouille, et dont la rouille ne se détache pas! Tires-en les morceaux les uns après les autres, sans recourir au sort.
7 Car le sang qu'elle a versé est au milieu d'elle; elle l'a mis sur le roc nu, elle ne l'a pas répandu sur la terre pour le couvrir de poussière.
8 Afin de montrer ma fureur, afin de me venger, j'ai répandu son sang sur le roc nu, pour qu'il ne fût pas couvert.
9 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Malheur à la ville sanguinaire! Moi aussi je veux faire un grand bûcher.
10 Entasse le bois, allume le feu, cuis bien la chair, assaisonne-la, et que les os soient brûlés.
11 Puis mets la chaudière vide sur les charbons, afin qu'elle s'échauffe, que son airain devienne brûlant, que sa souillure se fonde au dedans, et que sa rouille se consume.
12 Les efforts sont inutiles, la rouille dont elle est pleine ne se détache pas; la rouille ne s'en ira que par le feu.
13 Le crime est dans ta souillure; parce que j'ai voulu te purifier et que tu n'es pas devenue pure, tu ne seras plus purifiée de ta souillure jusqu'à ce que j'aie assouvi sur toi ma fureur.
14 Moi, l'Éternel, j'ai parlé; cela arrivera, et je l'exécuterai; je ne reculerai pas, et je n'aurai ni pitié ni repentir. On te jugera selon ta conduite et selon tes actions, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
15 La parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
16 Fils de l'homme, voici, je t'enlève par une mort soudaine ce qui fait les délices de tes yeux. Tu ne te lamenteras point, tu ne pleureras point, et tes larmes ne couleront pas.
17 Soupire en silence, ne prends pas le deuil des morts, attache ton turban, mets ta chaussure à tes pieds, ne te couvre pas la barbe, et ne mange pas le pain des autres.
18 J'avais parlé au peuple le matin, et ma femme mourut le soir. Le lendemain matin, je fis ce qui m'avait été ordonné.
19 Le peuple me dit: Ne nous expliqueras-tu pas ce que signifie pour nous ce que tu fais?
20 Je leur répondis: La parole de l'Éternel m'a été adressée, en ces mots:
21 Dis à la maison d'Israël: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici, je vais profaner mon sanctuaire, l'orgueil de votre force, les délices de vos yeux, l'objet de votre amour; et vos fils et vos filles que vous avez laissés tomberont par l'épée.
22 Vous ferez alors comme j'ai fait. Vous ne vous couvrirez pas la barbe, vous ne mangerez pas le pain des autres,
23 vous aurez vos turbans sur la tête et vos chaussures aux pieds, vous ne vous lamenterez pas et vous ne pleurerez pas; mais vous serez frappés de langueur pour vos iniquités, et vous gémirez entre vous. Ézéchiel sera pour vous un signe.
24 Vous ferez entièrement comme il a fait. Et quand ces choses arriveront, vous saurez que je suis le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
25 Et toi, fils de l'homme, le jour où je leur enlèverai ce qui fait leur force, leur joie et leur gloire, les délices de leurs yeux et l'objet de leur amour, leurs fils et leurs filles,
26 ce jour-là un fuyard viendra vers toi pour l'annoncer à tes oreilles.
27 En ce jour, ta bouche s'ouvrira avec le fuyard, et tu parleras, tu ne seras plus muet; tu seras pour eux un signe, et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel.

24 第九年十月十日，耶和華對我說： 2 「人子啊，今天是巴比倫王圍攻耶路撒冷的日子，你要記下這日子。 3 你要向叛逆的以色列人說比喻，告訴他們，主耶和華這樣說，
『把鍋放在火上，
裡面倒進水，
4 把羊腿、羊肩等上好的肉塊放進鍋裡，
讓鍋裡盛滿精選的骨頭。
5 要從羊群中選一頭上好的羊，
把柴堆在鍋下，
燒開鍋煮裡面的骨頭。』」

The Boiling Pot and the Death of Ezekiel’s Wife
24 And the word of Yahweh came[a] to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, saying,[b] 2 “Son of man,[c] write for yourself the name of the day, this very day.[d] The king of Babylon laid siege to Jerusalem on exactly this day! 3 And deliver a proverb[e] to the rebellious house,[f] and you must say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Place the pot! Place it and also pour water into it. 4 Gather its pieces to it, every good piece, thigh and shoulder, fill it with choice bones; 5 take the choicest of the flock, and also pile the bones[g] under it; boil it vigorously;[h] indeed,[i] its bones boiled in the midst of it.”’”
6 Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Woe to the city of bloodguilt! A pot that has its rust in it; its rust did not go out from it.[j] Bring it out piece by piece;[k] one is as good as another.[l] 7 For her blood was in the midst of her; she put it on a bare rock;[m] she did not pour it on the ground to cover it with dust.[n] 8 To stir up rage, to avenge myself through vengeance, I placed its blood on the barrenness of a rock, so that it may not be covered.”[o]
9 Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Woe to the city of bloodguilt! I, even I, will make the pile of wood great! 10 Pile up the logs; kindle the fire; finish cooking the meat, and mix in the spices, and let the bones be burned.[p] 11 And make it stand[q] empty upon its burning coals so that it may become hot, and its copper may become molten and be melted in the midst of it,[r] so that its uncleanness and its rust be consumed. 12 Through effort she has caused weariness; its thick rust[s] went not out of it. Its rust! Into the fire with its rust! 13 In your uncleanness is obscene conduct, because I cleansed you, but you were not clean from your uncleanness; you will not be clean again until I fully vent my rage[t] on you. 14 I, Yahweh, I have spoken. It is coming, and I did it; I will not disregard, and I will not take pity, and I will not reconsider. According to your ways and according to your deeds they will judge you!”[u] declares[v] the Lord Yahweh.
15 And the word of Yahweh came[w] to me, saying,[x] 16 “Son of man,[y] look! I am taking from you what is pleasing to your eyes with a plague,[z] but you shall not mourn, and you shall not weep, and your tears shall not run down. 17 Sigh in silence for the dead; you shall not make a mourning ceremony. Bind your turban on you, and you must put your sandals on your feet. You must not cover your upper lip,[aa] and the bread of mourners[ab] you shall not eat.” 18 And I spoke to the people in the morning, and my wife died in the evening, and I did in the morning just as[ac] I was commanded. 19 And the people said to me, “Will you not make known to us what these things that you are doing mean for us?” 20 And I said to them that the word of Yahweh came[ad] to me, saying,[ae] 21 “Say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Look! I will be profaning my sanctuary, the pride of your strength and the delight of your eyes and the object of your own[af] affection; and your sons and your daughters whom you left behind will fall by the sword, 22 and you shall do just as[ag] I did: You shall not cover your upper lip,[ah] and you shall not eat the bread of mourners.[ai] 23 And your turban must be on your heads, and your sandals must be on your feet. You shall not mourn, and you shall not weep, but you shall waste away because of your iniquities, and you shall groan to one another.[aj] 24 And Ezekiel will be to you as a sign; everything that he did[ak] you shall do; and when it comes you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
25 “And you, son of man,[al] will it not be that on the day when I take from them[am] their stronghold, the joy of their glory, the delight of their eyes, and the longing of their inner self,[an] their sons and daughters— 26 on that day a survivor will come to you with the news.[ao] 27 On that day your mouth shall be opened at the arrival of the fugitive,[ap] and you shall speak, and you shall not be silent any longer, and you shall be to them as a sign, and they will know that I am Yahweh.”
