是擦亮了的刀;

Ezekiel 21
Living Bible
21 Then this message came to me from the Lord:
2 “Son of dust, face toward Jerusalem and prophesy against Israel and against my Temple![a] 3 For the Lord says: ‘I am against you, Israel. I will unsheath my sword and destroy your people, good and bad alike— 4 I will not spare even the righteous. I will make a clean sweep throughout the land from the Negeb to your northern borders. 5 All the world shall know that it is I, the Lord. His sword is in his hand, and it will not return to its sheath again until its work is finished.’
6 “Sigh and groan before the people, son of dust, in your bitter anguish; sigh with grief and broken heart. 7 When they ask you why, tell them: ‘Because of the fearsome news that God has given me. When it comes true, the boldest heart will melt with fear; all strength will disappear. Every spirit will faint; strong knees will tremble and become as weak as water.’ And the Lord God says: ‘Your doom is on the way; my judgments will be fulfilled!’”
8 Then again this message came to me from God:
9-11 “Son of dust, tell them this: ‘A sword is being sharpened and polished for terrible slaughter. Now will you laugh? For those far stronger than you have perished beneath its power. It is ready now to hand to the executioner.’ 12 Son of dust, with sobbing, beat upon your thigh, for that sword shall slay my people and all their leaders. All alike shall die. 13 It will put them all to the test—and what chance do they have?” the Lord God asks.
14 “Prophesy to them in this way: Clap your hands vigorously, then take a sword and brandish it twice, thrice, to symbolize the great massacre they face! 15 Let their hearts melt with terror, for a sword glitters at every gate; it flashes like lightning; it is razor-edged for slaughter. 16 O sword, slash to the right and slash to the left, wherever you will, wherever you want. 17 And you have prophesied with clapping hands that I, the Lord, will smite Jerusalem and satisfy my fury.”
18 Then this message came to me. The Lord said:
19-20 “Son of dust, make a map and on it trace two routes for the king of Babylon to follow—one to Jerusalem and the other to Rabbah in Transjordan.[b] And put a signpost at the fork in the road from Babylon. 21 For the king of Babylon stands at a fork, uncertain whether to attack Jerusalem or Rabbah. He will call his magicians to use divination; they will cast lots by shaking arrows from the quiver; they will sacrifice to idols and inspect the liver[c] of their sacrifice. 22 They will decide to turn toward Jerusalem! With battering rams they will go against the gates, shouting for the kill; they will build siege towers and make a hill against the walls to reach the top. 23 Jerusalem won’t understand this treachery; how could the diviners make this terrible mistake? For Babylon is Judah’s ally and has sworn to defend Jerusalem! But the king of Babylon will think only of the times the people rebelled. He will attack and defeat them.”
24 The Lord God says: “Again and again your guilt cries out against you, for your sins are open and unashamed. Wherever you go, whatever you do, all is filled with sin. And now the time of punishment has come.
25 “O King Zedekiah,[d] evil prince of Israel, your final day of reckoning is here. 26 Take off your jeweled crown,” the Lord God says. “The old order changes. Now the poor are exalted and the rich brought very low. 27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn the kingdom, so that even the new order that emerges will not succeed until the Man appears who has a right to it. And I will give it all to him.
28 “Son of dust, prophesy to the Ammonites too, for they mocked my people in their woe. Tell them this:
“‘Against you also my glittering sword is drawn from its sheath; it is sharpened and polished and flashes like lightning. 29 Your magicians and false prophets have told you lies of safety and success—that your gods will save you from the king of Babylon. Thus they have caused your death along with all the other wicked, for when the day of final reckoning has come, you will be wounded unto death. 30 Shall I return my sword to its sheath before I deal with you? No, I will destroy you in your own country where you were born. 31 I will pour out my fury upon you and blow upon the fire of my wrath until it becomes a roaring conflagration, and I will deliver you into the hands of cruel men skilled in destruction. 32 You are the fuel for the fire; your blood will be spilled in your own country, and you will be utterly wiped out, your memory lost in history. For I, the Lord, have spoken it.’”

God’s Sword of Judgement
21 The word of the Lord came to me again: 2 ‘Son of man, face(A) Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel, 3 and say to it, “This is what the Lord says: I am against you.(B) I will draw my sword from its sheath and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked. 4 Since I will cut off[a] both the righteous and the wicked, my sword will therefore come out of its sheath against all humanity from the south to the north.(C) 5 So all humanity will know that I, the Lord, have taken my sword from its sheath – it will not be sheathed again.”(D)
6 ‘But you, son of man, groan! Groan bitterly with a broken heart[b] right before their eyes. 7 And when they ask you, “Why are you groaning? ” then say, “Because of the news that is coming.(E) Every heart will melt, and every hand will become weak. Every spirit will be discouraged, and all knees will run with urine.[c](F) Yes, it is coming and it will happen. This is the declaration of the Lord God.” ’
8 The word of the Lord came to me: 9 ‘Son of man, prophesy, “This is what the Lord says! ” You are to proclaim,
“A sword!(G) A sword is sharpened
and also polished.(H)
10 It is sharpened for slaughter,
polished to flash like lightning!
Should we rejoice?
The sceptre of my son,
the sword despises every tree.[d]
11 The sword is given to be polished,
to be grasped in the hand.
It is sharpened, and it is polished,
to be put in the hand of the slayer.”(I)
12 ‘Cry out and wail, son of man, for it is against my people. It is against all the princes of Israel! They are given over to the sword with my people. Therefore strike your thigh in grief.(J) 13 Surely it will be a trial! And what if the sword despises even the sceptre? The sceptre will not continue.’[e] This is the declaration of the Lord God.
14 ‘So you, son of man, prophesy and clap your hands together:(K)
Let the sword strike twice, even three times.
It is a sword for massacre,
a sword for great massacre –
it surrounds[f] them!
15 I have appointed a sword(L) for slaughter[g]
at all their gates,
so that their hearts may melt
and many may stumble.
Yes! It is ready to flash like lightning;(M)
it is drawn[h] for slaughter.
16 Slash to the right;
turn to the left –
wherever your blade is directed.
17 I also will clap my hands together, and I will satisfy my wrath.(N) I, the Lord, have spoken.’
18 The word of the Lord came to me: 19 ‘Now you, son of man, mark out two roads that the sword of Babylon’s king can take. Both of them should originate from the same land. And make a signpost at the fork in the road to each city. 20 Mark out a road that the sword can take to Rabbah of the Ammonites(O) and to Judah into fortified Jerusalem. 21 For the king of Babylon stands at the split in the road, at the fork of the two roads, to practise divination: he shakes the arrows, consults the idols, and observes the liver. 22 The answer marked[i] Jerusalem appears in his right hand, indicating that he should set up battering rams,(P) give the order to[j] slaughter, raise a battle cry, set battering rams against the gates, build a ramp, and construct a siege wall. 23 It will seem like false divination to those who have sworn an oath to the Babylonians,[k](Q) but it will draw attention to their guilt so that they will be captured.
24 ‘Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: Because you have drawn attention to your guilt, exposing your transgressions, so that your sins are revealed in all your actions – since you have done this, you will be captured by them. 25 And you, profane and wicked prince of Israel,[l](R) the day has come(S) for your punishment.[m]
26 ‘This is what the Lord God says:
Remove the turban, and take off the crown.
Things will not remain as they are;[n]
exalt the lowly and bring down the exalted.(T)
27 A ruin, a ruin,
I will make it a ruin!
Yet this will not happen
until he comes;(U)
I have given the judgement to him.[o]
28 ‘Now you, son of man, prophesy, and say, “This is what the Lord God says concerning the Ammonites and their contempt.” You are to proclaim,
“A sword! A sword
is drawn for slaughter,
polished to consume,(V) to flash like lightning.
29 While they offer false visions(W)
and lying divinations about you,
the time has come to put you
to the necks of the profane wicked ones;
the day has come
for final punishment.
30 ‘ “Return it to its sheath!(X)
‘ “I will judge you[p]
in the place where you were created,
in the land of your origin.
31 I will pour out my indignation on you;
I will blow the fire of my fury on you.(Y)
I will hand you over to brutal men,
skilled at destruction.
32 You will be fuel for the fire.
Your blood will be spilled within the land.
You will not be remembered,(Z)
for I, the Lord, have spoken.” ’
