27 傾覆，傾覆，我要傾覆這國，這國不再存在，直等到那統治的人來到，我就把國賜給他。’
懲罰亞捫人的刀
28 “人子啊！你要說預言：論到亞捫人和他們的侮辱，主耶和華這樣說：‘你要說：有一把刀，有一把刀拔出來，是為要殺戮；擦亮，是為要毀滅，為要閃爍發光。 29 人為你所見的異象是虛假的，為你所占的卜是虛謊的，使你倒在該死的惡人的頸項上；他們受懲罰的日子到了，最後懲罰的時刻到了。

New International Version
27 A ruin! A ruin! I will make it a ruin! The crown will not be restored until he to whom it rightfully belongs shall come;(A) to him I will give it.’(B)
28 “And you, son of man, prophesy and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says about the Ammonites(C) and their insults:
“‘A sword,(D) a sword,
drawn for the slaughter,
polished to consume
and to flash like lightning!
29 Despite false visions concerning you
and lying divinations(E) about you,
it will be laid on the necks
of the wicked who are to be slain,
whose day has come,
whose time of punishment has reached its climax.(F)
