Ezekiel 9:2-4
New King James Version
2 And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his [a]battle-ax in his hand. (A)One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer’s inkhorn [b]at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar.
3 Now (B)the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the [c]temple. And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn at his side; 4 and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put (C)a mark on the foreheads of the men (D)who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;
4 And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

3 Now (D)the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub on which it rested to (E)the threshold of the house. And he called to (F)the man clothed in linen, who had the writing case at his waist. 4 And the Lord said to him, “Pass through the city, through Jerusalem, and (G)put a mark on the foreheads of the men who (H)sigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in it.”
