預言審判埃及
29 第十年十月十二日，耶和華對我說： 2 「人子啊，你要說預言斥責埃及王法老和埃及全國， 3 你要告訴他，主耶和華這樣說，
『埃及王法老啊，
你這躺臥在自己河中的大怪物，
我要與你為敵。
你說這尼羅河屬於你，
是你為自己造的。
4 但我要鉤住你的腮，
使河中的魚貼在你的鱗甲上，
把你連同貼在你鱗甲上的魚一起從河中拉上來，
5 丟棄在曠野。
你必曝屍野外，無人收殮。
我要讓你成為野獸和飛鳥的食物。
6 「『這樣，所有的埃及人就知道我是耶和華，因為你不過是一根蘆葦，以色列人無法依靠你。 7 當他們用手握住你的時候，你就斷裂，刺傷了他們的肩；當他們倚靠你的時候，你就折斷，閃了他們的腰。
8 「『因此，主耶和華說，看啊，我要使刀劍臨到你，消滅你的人畜， 9 使埃及一片荒涼。這樣，他們就知道我是耶和華。因為你說這尼羅河屬於你，是你造的。 10 因此，我要攻擊你和你的河流，使埃及從密奪到色弗尼，一直到古實的邊界全都荒廢。 11 四十年之內，這裡必無人居住，人獸蹤跡滅絕。 12 我必使埃及成為荒地中的荒地，讓埃及的城邑淪為廢墟中的廢墟，長達四十年。我要將埃及人驅散到列國，分散到列邦。』
13 「主耶和華說，『四十年之後，我要把分散的埃及人從各國聚集起來。 14 我要把被擄的埃及人帶回來，使他們回到故土巴特羅，成為一個卑微的國家， 15 在列國中最衰微，再也不能雄居列國之上。我要使埃及國勢衰弱，再也不能統治列國。 16 埃及不再是以色列人的指望，反而會使以色列人想起自己投靠埃及的罪。這樣，他們便知道我是主耶和華。』」
17 第二十七年一月一日，耶和華對我說： 18 「人子啊，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒派兵苦攻泰爾，以致士兵的頭都禿了，肩也破了，卻是徒勞無功。 19 所以主耶和華說，『我要把埃及賜給巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，他必擄掠埃及的財富為戰利品，犒賞自己的軍隊。 20 他和他的軍隊為我效力，所以我把埃及賜給他作為酬勞。』這是主耶和華說的。
21 「到那天，我必復興以色列[a]，使你以西結在他們當中開口說話，這樣他們就知道我是耶和華。」

A Prophecy Against Egypt
Judgment on Pharaoh
29 In the tenth year, in the tenth month on the twelfth day, the word of the Lord came to me:(A) 2 “Son of man, set your face against(B) Pharaoh king of Egypt(C) and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.(D) 3 Speak to him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘I am against you, Pharaoh(E) king of Egypt,
you great monster(F) lying among your streams.
You say, “The Nile(G) belongs to me;
I made it for myself.”
4 But I will put hooks(H) in your jaws
and make the fish of your streams stick to your scales.
I will pull you out from among your streams,
with all the fish sticking to your scales.(I)
5 I will leave you in the desert,
you and all the fish of your streams.
You will fall on the open field
and not be gathered(J) or picked up.
I will give you as food
to the beasts of the earth and the birds of the sky.(K)
6 Then all who live in Egypt will know that I am the Lord.
“‘You have been a staff of reed(L) for the people of Israel. 7 When they grasped you with their hands, you splintered(M) and you tore open their shoulders; when they leaned on you, you broke and their backs were wrenched.[a](N)
8 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will bring a sword against you and kill both man and beast.(O) 9 Egypt will become a desolate wasteland. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
“‘Because you said, “The Nile(P) is mine; I made it,(Q)” 10 therefore I am against you(R) and against your streams, and I will make the land of Egypt(S) a ruin and a desolate waste(T) from Migdol(U) to Aswan,(V) as far as the border of Cush.[b](W) 11 The foot of neither man nor beast will pass through it; no one will live there for forty years.(X) 12 I will make the land of Egypt desolate(Y) among devastated lands, and her cities will lie desolate forty years among ruined cities. And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them through the countries.(Z)
13 “‘Yet this is what the Sovereign Lord says: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the nations where they were scattered. 14 I will bring them back from captivity and return them to Upper Egypt,(AA) the land of their ancestry. There they will be a lowly(AB) kingdom.(AC) 15 It will be the lowliest of kingdoms and will never again exalt itself above the other nations.(AD) I will make it so weak that it will never again rule over the nations. 16 Egypt will no longer be a source of confidence(AE) for the people of Israel but will be a reminder(AF) of their sin in turning to her for help.(AG) Then they will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.(AH)’”
Nebuchadnezzar’s Reward
17 In the twenty-seventh year, in the first month on the first day, the word of the Lord came to me:(AI) 18 “Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar(AJ) king of Babylon drove his army in a hard campaign against Tyre; every head was rubbed bare(AK) and every shoulder made raw.(AL) Yet he and his army got no reward from the campaign he led against Tyre. 19 Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to give Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king(AM) of Babylon, and he will carry off its wealth. He will loot and plunder(AN) the land as pay for his army.(AO) 20 I have given him Egypt(AP) as a reward for his efforts because he and his army did it for me, declares the Sovereign Lord.(AQ)
21 “On that day I will make a horn[c](AR) grow for the Israelites, and I will open your mouth(AS) among them. Then they will know that I am the Lord.(AT)”

29 On the twelfth day of the tenth month of the tenth year, the word of Adonai came to me: 2 “Human being, turn your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt; prophesy against him and against all Egypt; 3 speak out; and say that Adonai Elohim says:
‘I am against you,
Pharaoh king of Egypt,
you big crocodile
lying in the streams of the Nile!
You say, “My Nile is mine;
I made it for myself.”
4 But I will put hooks in your jaws
and make your Nile fish stick to your scales.
Yes, I will bring you up from your Nile,
with all your Nile fish sticking to your scales,
5 and leave you in the desert,
you and all your Nile fish.
You will fall in the open field
and not be gathered or buried;
but I will give you as food
to wild animals and birds.
6 Then all who live in Egypt
will know that I am Adonai,
because they have been a support made of straw
for the house of Isra’el.
7 When they grasped you in hand, you splintered
and threw all their shoulders out of joint;
when they leaned on you, you broke
and made them all wrench their backs.’
8 “Therefore Adonai Elohim says, ‘I will bring the sword against you and eliminate both your people and your animals. 9 The land of Egypt will become a desolate waste, and they will know that I am Adonai; because he said, “The Nile is mine; I made it.” 10 So I am against you and your Nile; and I will make the land of Egypt a totally desolate waste from Migdol to S’venah, all the way to the border of Ethiopia. 11 No human foot will pass through it, and no animal foot will pass through it; it will be uninhabited for forty years. 12 Yes, I will make the land of Egypt desolate, even when compared with other desolate countries, likewise her cities in comparison with other ruined cities; they will be desolate forty years. I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them through the countries.’
13 “For this is what Adonai Elohim says: ‘At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the peoples where they were scattered — 14 I will restore the fortunes of Egypt and cause them to return to the land of their origin, Patros. But there they will be a humble kingdom, 15 the humblest of kingdoms. It will never again dominate other nations; I will reduce them, so that they never again rule other nations. 16 Moreover, they will no longer be a source of confidence for Isra’el to turn to; rather, it will only bring to mind their guilt in having turned to them before. Then they will know that I am Adonai Elohim.’”
17 On the first day of the first month of the twenty-seventh year, the word of Adonai came to me: 18 “Human being, N’vukhadretzar king of Bavel had his army mount a massive expedition against Tzor; [the loads of dirt they carried] made every head bald and every shoulder raw; yet neither he nor his army derived any benefit from Tzor out of this expedition against it. 19 Therefore Adonai Elohim says, ‘I will give the land of Egypt to N’vukhadretzar king of Bavel. He will carry off its riches, take its spoil and its prey; and these will be the wages for his army. 20 I am giving him the land of Egypt as his wages for which he worked, because they were working for me,’ says Adonai Elohim. 21 ‘When that day comes I will cause power to return to the house of Isra’el, and I will enable you [Yechezk’el] to open your mouth among them. Then they will know that I am Adonai.’”

29 В десятом году, в двенадцатый день десятого месяца (7 января 587 г. до н. э.), было ко мне слово Вечного:
2 – Смертный, обрати лицо к фараону, царю Египта, и пророчествуй против него и против всего Египта. 3 Говори с ним и скажи: Так говорит Владыка Вечный:
«Я твой враг, фараон, царь Египта,
чудовищный крокодил, что в реках своих разлёгся.
“Нил мой, – говоришь ты, –
я создал его для себя”.
4 Я продену крюк в твои челюсти,
и рыбу из рек твоих приклею к твоей чешуе.
Я вытащу тебя из твоих рек
с рыбой, прилипшей к твоей чешуе.
5 Я брошу тебя в пустыню,
тебя и рыбу из твоих рек.
Ты упадёшь в открытом поле –
не подберут тебя, не поднимут.
Я отдам тебя в пищу
земному зверью и небесным птицам.
6 Тогда все жители Египта узнают, что Я – Вечный.
Ты был посохом из тростника для народа Исроила. 7 Когда они брались за тебя, ты расщеплялся и ранил им руки; когда они опирались на тебя, ты ломался, и их ноги теряли устойчивость».
8 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Я наведу на тебя меч и истреблю твоих жителей и их скот. 9 Египет станет безлюдной пустыней. Тогда они узнают, что Я – Вечный. За то, что ты сказал: “Нил – мой; это я его создал”, 10 Я – твой враг и враг твоих рек. Я превращу землю Египта в мёртвую пустыню от Мигдола на севере до Сиены[a] на юге, до самой границы с Эфиопией. 11 Не будет ступать по ней ни нога человека, ни нога животного; она будет необитаемой сорок лет. 12 Я сделаю землю Египта пустыней среди опустошённых земель, и её города будут безлюдными среди опустевших городов сорок лет. Я рассею египтян между другими народами и развею их по чужим землям».
13 Ведь так говорит Владыка Вечный: «По прошествии сорока лет Я соберу египтян из народов, среди которых они были рассеяны. 14 Я восстановлю и возвращу их в Верхний Египет[b], землю их предков. Они будут там слабым царством, 15 самым слабым из царств, и никогда впредь не возвысятся над другими народами. Я так ослаблю их, что они впредь не смогут править народами. 16 Египет больше не будет опорой для Исроила; он будет напоминанием людям о грехе, который они совершили, обращаясь к нему за помощью. Тогда они узнают, что Я – Владыка Вечный».
Завоевание Египта Вавилоном
17 В двадцать седьмом году, в первый день первого месяца (26 апреля 571 г. до н. э.), было ко мне слово Вечного:
18 – Смертный, Навуходоносор, царь Вавилона, заставил своё войско немало потрудиться под Тиром: все головы оплешивели, все плечи натёрты от непосильного труда. Но ни он, ни его войско ничего не получили от Тира в уплату за труды.
19 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Вечный:
– Я отдам Навуходоносору, царю Вавилона, землю Египта, и он захватит её богатства. Он оберёт и разграбит её, чтобы заплатить войску. 20 Я отдаю ему Египет в награду за труды, потому что он и его войско трудились для Меня, – возвещает Владыка Вечный.
21 В тот день Я сделаю Исроил сильным[c] и дам тебе что им сказать, и узнают, что Я – Вечный.
