以西結蒙召
2 那聲音對我說：「人子啊，你站起來，我要對你說話。」 2 正說的時候，耶和華的靈就進入我裡面，使我站起來。我聽見那聲音對我說： 3 「人子啊，我派你去那背叛我的以色列人那裡。他們和他們的祖先至今仍背叛我。 4 我派你到那些頑固不化的人那裡，向他們宣告，『主耶和華這樣說。』 5 不管那群叛逆的人聽不聽，他們都會知道有一位先知在他們當中。 6 人子啊，不要怕他們和他們的話，雖然你周圍佈滿荊棘和毒蠍，也不要害怕。他們是一群叛逆的人，你不要怕他們的話，也不要因為他們的臉色而驚慌。 7 他們是叛逆的，不論他們聽不聽，你都要把我的話告訴他們。
8 「人子啊，你要聽我對你說的話，不要像他們那樣叛逆，要張開口吃我賜給你的。」 9 這時我看見一隻手向我伸來，手中拿著書卷。 10 那隻手把那書卷打開，書卷的兩面都寫滿了哀傷、歎息、悲痛的話。

Deus chama Ezequiel para ser profeta
2 Quando vi isso, caí e encostei o rosto no chão. Então ouvi uma voz que dizia:
— Homem mortal, fique de pé. Eu quero falar com você.
2 Enquanto a voz falava, o Espírito de Deus entrou em mim e me fez ficar em pé. E eu ouvi a voz dizer:
3 — Homem mortal, eu o estou mandando ao povo de Israel, que se revoltou e se virou contra mim. Eles ainda são rebeldes, como os antepassados deles também eram. 4 São teimosos e não me respeitam. Estou mandando você para dizer a eles aquilo que eu, o Senhor Deus, quero dizer. 5 Tanto se derem atenção a você como se não derem, eles vão saber que um profeta esteve no meio deles.
6 — Mas você, homem mortal, não precisa ficar com medo deles, nem do que eles disserem. Eles o desafiarão e desprezarão; viver no meio deles será como viver no meio de escorpiões. Mesmo assim, não tenha medo daqueles rebeldes, nem de qualquer coisa que eles disserem. 7 Diga-lhes tudo o que eu mandar, quer eles lhe deem atenção ou não. Lembre que eles são teimosos.
8 — Homem mortal, preste atenção no que eu estou dizendo. Não seja teimoso como eles. Abra a boca e coma o que vou dar a você.
9 Aí eu vi uma mão que se estendia para mim, segurando um rolo. 10 Ela o desenrolou, e vi que nos dois lados havia coisas escritas. E o que estava escrito eram gritos de dor, lamentos e gemidos.

The Vision of the Scroll
2 He said to me: “O mortal,[a] stand up on your feet, and I will speak with you.”(A) 2 And when he spoke to me, a spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.(B) 3 He said to me, “Mortal, I am sending you to the people of Israel, to a nation[b] of rebels who have rebelled against me; they and their ancestors have transgressed against me to this very day.(C) 4 The descendants are impudent and stubborn. I am sending you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’(D) 5 Whether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are a rebellious house), they shall know that there has been a prophet among them.(E) 6 And you, O mortal, do not be afraid of them, and do not be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns surround you and you live among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words, and do not be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house.(F) 7 You shall speak my words to them, whether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house.(G)
8 “But you, mortal, hear what I say to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”(H) 9 I looked, and a hand was stretched out to me, and a written scroll was in it.(I) 10 He spread it before me; it had writing on the front and on the back, and written on it were words of lamentation and mourning and woe.
