²⁶不遵守你　神的律法和王的律法的，就要審慎地判決處分，或是處死、或是放逐、或是沒收家產、或是囚禁。”

以斯拉稱頌　神

²⁷以斯拉說：“耶和華我們列祖的　神是應該稱頌的，因為他把這樣的意念放在君王的心裡，使他修飾那在耶路撒冷的耶和華的殿； ²⁸又使我在王和謀士，以及王手下有權勢的領袖面前蒙恩。因為耶和華我　神的手幫助我，我就有勇氣，召集以色列中一些首領，與我一同上來。”

Ezra 7:26-28

New King James Version

²⁶Whoever will not observe the law of your God and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily on him, whether it be death, or ^[a]banishment, or confiscation of goods, or imprisonment.

²⁷^(A)Blessed^[b] be the Lord God of our fathers, ^(B)who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem, ²⁸and ^(C)has extended mercy to me before the king and his counselors, and before all the king’s mighty princes.

So I was encouraged, as ^(D)the hand of the Lord my God was upon me; and I gathered leading men of Israel to go up with me.

²⁷^(A)Blessed be the Lord, the God of our fathers, ^(B)who put such a thing as this into the heart of the king, to beautify the house of the Lord that is in Jerusalem, ²⁸^(C)and who extended to me his steadfast love before the king and his counselors, and before all the king's mighty officers. I took courage, for the hand of the Lord my God was on me, and I gathered leading men from Israel to go up with me.
