5 那時，先知哈該和易多的子孫撒迦利亞奉以色列上帝的名，向猶大和耶路撒冷的猶大人宣講上帝的話。 ²於是，撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和約薩達的兒子耶書亞開始在耶路撒冷重建上帝的殿，上帝的先知在他們身邊幫助他們。

³當時，河西總督達乃、示他·波斯乃及其同僚來問他們：「誰批准你們重建這殿、修復這牆的？」

5 ଏହି ସମୟରେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟ‌ଦ୍‌ବକ୍ତା ହାଗୟ ଓ ଇଦ୍ଦୋର ପୁତ୍ର ଜିଖରିୟ, ଏହି ଭବିଷ୍ୟ‌ଦ୍‌ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଯିରୁଶାଲମସ୍ଥିତ ଯିହୁଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟ‌ଦ୍‌ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଗ୍ଭର କଲେ। ସେମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟ‌ଦ୍‌ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଗ୍ଭର କଲେ। ²ତେଣୁ ଶ‌‌‌‌ଲ୍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ଟୀୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ର ସରୁବ୍ବାବିଲ ଓ ଯୋଷାଦକର ପୁତ୍ର ଯେଶୂୟ ଉଠି ଯିରୁଶାଲମରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। ଆଉ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଭବିଷ୍ୟ‌ଦ୍‌ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ରହି ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କଲେ। ³ସେହି ସମୟରେ ତତ୍ତନୟ, ନଦୀ ସେପାରିସ୍ଥ ଦେଶାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଓ ଶଥର ବୋଷଣୟ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗୀମାନେ ଆସି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଗ୍ଭରିଲେ, “ଏହି ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବାକୁ, ଏହି ପ୍ରାଚୀର ସମାପ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ କିଏ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲା।”

5 Then the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied unto the Jews that were in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, even unto them.

²Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.

³At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?

Restoration of the Temple Resumed^(A)

5 Then the prophet ^(B)Haggai and ^(C)Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophets, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem, in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them. ²So ^(D)Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of ^[a]Jozadak rose up and began to build the house of God which is in Jerusalem; and ^(E)the prophets of God were with them, helping them.

³At the same time ^(F)Tattenai the governor of the region beyond ^[b]the River and Shethar-Boznai and their companions came to them and spoke thus to them: ^(G)“Who has commanded you to build this ^[c]temple and finish this wall?”
