イエスの復活
28 安息日も終わり、日曜日になりました。マグダラのマリヤともう一人のマリヤは、明け方早く、墓へ出かけました。
2 突然、大きな地震が起きました。天使が天から下って来て、墓の入口から石を転がし、その上に座ったのです。 3 天使の顔はいなずまのように輝き、衣は雪のような白さでした。 4 警備の者たちはその姿を見て、恐怖で震え上がり、死んだようになってしまいました。
5 すると、天使がマリヤたちに声をかけました。「こわがらなくてもいいのです。十字架につけられたイエスを捜していることはわかっています。 6 だがもう、イエスはここにはおられません。前から話していたように復活されたのです。中に入って、遺体の置いてあった所を見てごらんなさい。 7 さあ早く行って、弟子たちに、イエスが死人の中から復活されたこと、ガリラヤへ行けば、そこでお会いできることを知らせてあげなさい。」
8 二人は、恐ろしさに震えながらも、一方ではあふれる喜びを抑えることができませんでした。一刻も早くこのことを弟子たちに伝えようと、一目散に駆けだしました。 9 すると、そこへ突然イエスが姿を現され、目の前に立ち、「おはよう」とあいさつなさいました。二人はイエスの前にひれ伏し、御足を抱いて礼拝しました。
10 イエスは言われました。「こわがらなくてもいいのです。行って、わたしの兄弟たちに、すぐガリラヤへ行くように言いなさい。そこでわたしに会えるのです。」
11 二人が町へ急いでいるころ、墓の番をしていた警備の者たちは祭司長たちのところに駆け込み、一部始終を報告しました。
12-13 ユダヤ人の指導者が全員召集され、どうしたらよいか相談しました。その結果、警備の者たちに多額の賄賂を渡し、「夜、眠っている間に、イエスの弟子たちが死体を盗んでいった」と言わせることにしました。
14 「もしこのことが総督の耳に入ったとしても、うまく説得してやるから心配することはない。あなたたちには決して迷惑はかけない。」彼らはこう約束しました。
15 賄賂を受け取った彼らは、言われたとおりに話しました。そのため、この話は広くユダヤ人の間に行き渡り、今でもそう信じられています。
16 一方、十一人の弟子はガリラヤに出かけ、イエスから指示された山に登りました。 17 そこでイエスにお会いして礼拝しましたが、中にはイエスだと信じない者もいました。
18 イエスは弟子たちに言われました。「わたしには天と地のすべての権威が与えられています。 19 だから、出て行って、すべての人々をわたしの弟子とし、彼らに、父と子と聖霊との名によってバプテスマ（洗礼）を授けなさい。 20 また、弟子となった者たちには、あなたがたに命じておいたすべての戒めを守るように教えなさい。わたしは世界の終わりまで、いつもあなたがたと共にいます。」

28 日が沈み、休日が終わった週初めの日。イエスの墓を見に行く、マグダラのマリアともう1人のマリアがいた。 2 すると突然、グォォォォォォォ！大地震が起きると同時に、空から王である神の天使が降りてきた。墓室の入り口にある巨大な石をゴロゴロと転がし、入り口を開けた天使は、そのまま巨大な石の上に腰かけた。 3 まるでカミナリのようにまばゆい天使の服は雪のようにまっ白だった！ 4 ヒぃーー！墓の門番は天使に驚き、恐ろしさのあまり固まったまま気を失った。
5 すると、天使は女たちに声をかけた。「恐がらなくていいよ！十字架に架けられたイエスを探してるんでしょ？ 6 でも、彼ならもうここにはいない！言っていた通り、死から復活したからね！疑うなら自分の目で確かめてみな！ほらここ！遺体はここにあったはず・・・ 7 いい？今からイエスの弟子たちのところへ行って。イエスは死から復活し、以前から言っていたとおり、ガリラヤ地方でみんなに会うのを待っているから！だから、弟子たちにそこでイエスと会うように伝えるんだ！」
8 恐れを抱える反面、溢れる喜びを抑えきれずにいた女たちは、すぐに墓から出ると、イエスの弟子たちのもとへと急いだ。 9 すると突然！「やあ！」イエスが女たちの前に現れた。イエスの前にひれ伏し、足に抱きつきながら、イエスを讃える女たち。 10 「安心しろ！さぁ、俺の兄弟たちのところへ行って、ガリラヤ地方へ行くように伝えてくれ。そこで会おう！」イエスは女たちに言った。
ユダヤ人指導者への報告
11 女たちが、イエスの弟子のいる場所を目指している一方で・・・墓を見張る数名の兵士が都へ帰り、祭司長に事の全てを打ち明けた。 12 すると、祭司とそこにいた長老、ユダヤ指導者が策を講じはじめたのだ。「さあ、これで・・・」それは賄賂だった。彼らは、墓を見張る兵士に沢山のお金を手渡しこう言った。 13 「いいか！人々にはこう伝えろ・・・実際に起きたことは、夜、お前たちが寝ている間にイエスの弟子たちがやって来て、遺体を盗んだ。以上・・・！ 14 もしこのことが総督の耳に入ったら・・・大丈夫！私たちのほうで話をつけておく。お前たちを問題には巻き込まないと約束する」 15 もらった金を懐へしまった見張りの兵士は、祭司の言う通りに従った。この話は今日に至るまでユダヤ人たちの間で語り継がれ、ウソが信じられている。
弟子たちの前に姿を現すイエス

16 11人の弟子たちはイエスに言われた通りガリラヤ地方へ向かった。 17 山の頂にイエスを見つけると、弟子たちは彼を讃えた。しかし、中にはまだ疑っている者もいた。 18 そして、弟子たちの元へ来たイエスは言った。「俺の手に天地すべての権威がゆだねられた！ 19 だから、行け！全世界の人たちを俺の弟子とし、父と子と聖霊の名によって洗礼を授けろ。 20 そして、お前たちに命じたいっさいのことに従うように彼らに教えろ！忘れるな、俺は世の終わりまでお前たちと共にいるのだ！」

Jesus Has Risen(A)
28 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene(B) and the other Mary(C) went to look at the tomb.
2 There was a violent earthquake,(D) for an angel(E) of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone(F) and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.(G) 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid,(H) for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.(I) Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee.(J) There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them.(K) “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers(L) to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
The Guards’ Report
11 While the women were on their way, some of the guards(M) went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. 12 When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, 13 telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away(N) while we were asleep.’ 14 If this report gets to the governor,(O) we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” 15 So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.(P) 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.(Q) 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,(R) baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,(S) 20 and teaching(T) them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you(U) always, to the very end of the age.”(V)

8 And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy, and ran to report to His disciples. 9 And behold, Jesus met them [b]and said, “[c]Rejoice!” And they came up and took hold of His feet, and worshiped Him. 10 Then Jesus *said to them, “[d](I)Do not be afraid; go, bring word to (J)My brothers to leave (K)for Galilee, and there they will see Me.”
11 Now while they were on their way, some of (L)the men from the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all that had happened. 12 And when they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, 13 and said, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him while we were asleep.’ 14 And if this comes to (M)the governor’s ears, we will appease him and [e]keep you out of trouble.” 15 And they took the money and did as they had been instructed; and this story was widely (N)spread among the Jews and is (O)to this day.
The Great Commission
16 But the eleven disciples proceeded (P)to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated to them. 17 And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but (Q)some [f]were doubtful. 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “(R)All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 [g](S)Go, therefore, and (T)make disciples of (U)all the nations, (V)baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to [h]follow all that I commanded you; and behold, (W)I am with you [i]always, to (X)the end of the age.”
